Michele was really embarrassed and just.....ugh. He couldn't explain it. Sure, Heather wasn't downright hostile like Gregory, but she wasn't exactly the nicest girl either. Grey eyes flicked up uncertainly, watching Dane look out...somewhere.....
Heather didn't offer a goodbye to him, so Michele didn't give her one either. They simply kept walking, off to find somewhere to settle down for the night. The city offered many good deals for travelling Trainers and the two boys found a good hotel room for cheap. Ultima was excited to see the window seat and promptly bound over to it and curled up in the last rays of the sunshine.
Michele glanced at Dane uncertainly. He'd been quiet since they'd met up with Heather. What was he thinking about? Was he upset about something? It didn't look like Heather's words had turned things about, made him think twice about this odd....thing they had. Or, at least, Dane wasn't leaving him flat anytime soon.
Michele took off the pack full of Orbs and set it down carefully against the far wall.
"....jeeze, uh....I'm sorry that all my siblings seem really....nasty..."
That was lame.
"I'll.....make it up to you somehow."
Yeah, okay.
That was.....what could he do, to do that? He had an idea. They were alone and, well....he moved closer to Dane with a little smile. He could do something....He reached up and grabbed the taller male by the lapels of his jacket,
"I could if you wanted."
He pulled him down, to steal a soft kiss. He was getting a little bit braver with this. Kissing wasn't so bad, and he really liked it, so why not take some if Dane would give them?

(rraaaaargh all this pausing just makes me want these boys to do stuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuffffff adsasasdadfdsf))

Even after Heather had left and they had moved on, Dane found himself with little to say, not even bothering to make the normal small talk he enjoyed using to fill the empty air. Instead, he seemed to stare into space blankly at times, as though he was thinking of something far away.

As they settled into their hotel room for the night, Dane found himself genuinely glad not to be spending the night in a Pokecenter or out in the middle of nowhere. Actually having a bed to share between them was comforting somehow.

Snapping out of his stupor as Mike finally spoke up, Dane smiled softly at him. It was cute to hear him trying to apologize, even though there was nothing for him to apologize about. After all, there was nothing that Mike could do about his siblings, and Dane certainly knew that if he'd had a say at all, they'd never have run into either Gregory or Heather. Dane never would have held it against him, and he had to wonder if Mike actually thought he might.

Gently grabbing Mike by the waist with one hand, Dane returned the kiss happily, but said, "You shouldn't worry about all that. I'd never hold your siblings and the trouble they make against you. But...I'd never say no if you still wanted to make it up somehow," he added with a smile, hoping they could still spend a little time together before settling in for the night.

Michele smiles a little, blushing in embarrassment. He nodded a little and ran his fingers across the nape of Dane's neck,
".....let's go to bed, okay?"

He didn't actually mean it.
Well, he did. He and Dane did go to bed. But they sure as hell didn't go to sleep. Michele found himself straddling the other boys' waist, leaned down against him, his lips pressed firmly against Dane's. His hands explored timidly, touching across his jawline and neck. It felt nice--though he was a little embarrassed at the angle--and he was okay with it. Michele wasn't worried about anything else, just kissing this other Trainer that he was so fond of.
"Hah...." He had to pull back for air, "....i-is this...okay-?"
PostPosted: Mon Oct 03, 2011 10:15 pm

One of his hands resting on Mike's thigh, Dane returned every little peck, responded to every move, did his best to make Mike comfortable while still enjoying himself. When Mike pulled back, Dane smiled dreamily at him and said, "I wish we could stay here forever. It's the best thing in the world, you know? Being here...with you, like this." It was difficult for him to explain, and he doubted his ramblings made any sense, but it was important to him that Mike knew how he felt.

Continuing on like that for a while, Dane finally glanced over at the clock and announced it was time for them to actually sleep. As in love as they were, they were both so nervous. Dane hadn't made a move for fear of pushing Mike too far, and it seemed Mike had kept back somewhat out of embarrassment. Still, Dane wasn't worried; it was all part of them growing closer, slowly but surely.

---

In the middle of the night, Dane awoke to the sound of crickets and a gentle wind outside. As he lay in the darkness, the comforting warmth of Mike beside him, he couldn't help the dark thoughts encroaching from the depths of his mind. Unable to relax and fall back asleep and equally unable to force the thoughts from his mind, he rose carefully, not wanting to wake his peaceful partner. Walking over to an empty chair and taking a seat, Dane tried to work things out in his mind. There were many conflicting emotions running through his thoughts, and just as many options to deal with them. It was overwhelming.

After sitting and thinking like that in silence for a while, Dane finally got up and slopped back into bed, wrapping an arm over MIke protectively. There was no point in him exhausting himself so early in the morning. Besides, there was no real issue other than his own conscience.

Michele didn't stir throughout Dane's thinking process....though he did look more comfortable in his slumber when he returned to bed and draped his arm over him.

Ultima creapt onto the bed in the middle of the night, sleeping at the curve of her Trainer's back.

~~~~
When morning came (with a complementary breakfast of fresh waffles and stale cereal) Michele tugged the map from Dane's pack and spread it out across the desk. He fished a pen from his pocket and started marking off places: the Power Plant, Cinnabar Island, Lavender Town--
"I figure that we won't find more than one Orb in a single area. This way, we remember where we've been." he explained to his partner, "We're right in the middle of Kanto, so it's a good idea to think a little longer."
He dug into the pack a little more and pulled out a second map. A map of Jhoto he'd snagged from home before they'd left. It was horribly crinkled, due to it being shoved in the bottom of the pack, but it was still legible when Michele smoothed out the creases,
".....look here. I've been thinking. Look at some of the places in Jhoto that could correspond with some of the Orbs we don't have. Dark Cave sounds like the obvious place for the Dark Type. Dragon's Den, also obvious."
He liked thinking ahead.
"But the Rock type.....Rock Tunnell, I think....and then we can head towards Victory Road, to cut over into Jhoto."
He looked up at Dane with a smile, "Sound good? Let's get going~"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Their fingers were interwined again.

Michele liked it quite a lot....this travel with Dane. He liked to hold Dane's hand in his. It made him feel special.
Ultima was perched on Dane's shoulder, riding there comfortably. That definitely made Michele feel pretty good....Ultima was a very friendly Eevee, but she wasn't exactly trusting of many people. But she obviously trusted Dane.
Maybe she knew her Trainer's feelings....?
Maybe.

"Urgh, didn't we just get out of Rock Tunnel? Shouldn't we have been looking while we were in there?" Dane asked, a little bothered that they would have to do some backtracking. Still, Rock Tunnel sounded like a natural choice for the Rock Orb, so it wouldn't make any sense to overlook it while they were still so close. Of course, they'd have to go back through Lavender Town and everything...It was such a short distance, Dane hoped Mike didn't mind walking it instead of flying. He wanted some time for them to talk.

Taking a bite of waffle, he looked over the map and said, "Everything else sounds really good, though. Guess we'll end up going to Johto after all, huh?" he asked, honestly a little excited to be going. Kanto was fine and all, but they needed a change of pace, to get away from everything that seemed to keep catching up with them from their pasts.

"Aerodactyl can help us in finding the Rock Orb too, I suppose...though I don't know how happy he'll be about having to walk around inside of a cave. He's pretty big...but hopefully it won't be a problem." Thinking out loud, Dane tried to remember just how big most of the caverns had been and whether or not Aerodactyl would really be able to worm his way through them.

---

Smiling at Ultima, Mike asked, "So it's Rock Tunnel again, huh...? I really don't want to go back there, but I suppose if we're looking for the Rock Orb, it's pretty obvious...at least we chased Team Rocket out of there last time. If we're lucky, they won't have lingered and we'll just have to worry about all the wild Pokemon. Jolteon can still guide us through, right?" he asked.

After a moment of thought, Dane asked, "Hey Mike, Eevee are kind of rare. How'd you manage to get two? Is Ultima Jolteon's offspring, or did you get them separately?" he asked, also wondering why Mike had chosen not to let Ultimate evolve.

(lol, I knew we'd gone to Rock Tunnel, but we didn't find the Orb, so backtracking is neccesary. XD At least it's somewhat realisitc.)

It was good that Dane had a Rock-type, because Michele sure didn't. He had a pretty rounded team, but not that.
He didn't mind walking. Lavender Town wasn't far away, and neither was the Tunnel. And with Dane, it didn't matter how far they had to walk. Walking was more pleasant. It gave them time to sort of...hang out. And that was a really nice feeling. The more time he spent with Dane, the more fond of him he became.

Ultima was rubbing her cheek against Dane's fondly when he asked the question. Michele looked up at him, grey eyes bright,
"Oh, no. Jolteon and Ultima are from two different places. I got Jolteon from another Trainer who wasn't treating him very well, but Ultima....she was given to me as an Egg."
He smiles, fond of the memory,
".....My mom--meaning the lady at Cerulean, not my birth mother--pulled some strings and got it from somewhere...And then she gave it to me. I carried the Egg around for a long time before it hatched....and then I had Ultima."
The Eevee purred happily.
Michele chuckled,
"And she's not left my side since. She's been my best friend since the moment she hatched, and I've been sure to take good care of her."

Ultima's fur is always shiny and her eyes are bright. If she wasn't wearing an Everstone, she'd probably be ready to evolve.

"I'm fond of Eevee and their evolutions. The "Eeveeloutions" as some people call them~" Mike shrugs his shoulders, "....but that's the story, I guess."
PostPosted: Mon Nov 07, 2011 9:39 pm

((That's true. XD))

"That so?" Dane asked, scratching Ultima behind the ear. As silence fell between the two of them, Dane wished that he had thought of what to talk about in advance. Trying to come up with something on the spot was becoming more and more difficult as he and Mike got to know each other better. They were always together on their quest, and they seemed to be running out of things to talk about. At least, that's what it seemed like to him. As close as they were, it felt as though there was still a gap between the two of them that he couldn't overcome. Dane almost felt as though he knew what it was, but it wasn't something he was ready to address. It wasn't important.

---

When they finally reached Rock Tunnel, it was only midday, and Dane was rueing actually having to go inside. At he same time, he wanted to get it over with so that they could continue on their journey together and finish collecting the orbs. It was exciting in a way, not knowing what their prize would be, or even how much of the legend might be true. While Dane rarely knew how much of an old legend might be true until he went out and found his prize, he almost always knew what he would be getting out of a trip. Here, however...if they really did receive a wish, he knew exactly what he would ask for. Glancing over at Mike's face, there was no doubt in his mind.

"Shall we then?" he asked, leading the way inside. Lead forward by Jolteon's light, the pair and Dane's Aerodactyl systematically made their way through the caverns, Dane constantly glancing up at Aerodactyl to see if he sensed anything.

After a while of wandering, however, they still hadn't even picked up a trace of the orb, and Dane was beginning to wonder just how vast the caverns were. If they ran into trouble, Mike's Abra could teleport them out in an instant, but having come that far already, Dane just wished that they could find the orb and be finished with it. However, squeezing Mike's hand a bit comforted him, and he trudged along at least contently.

Eventually, after wandering down numerous halls, Aerodactyl began looking back and forth ahead of them as they went, as though he could sense something. "Have you found it?" Dane asked, though the beast looked just as confused as he felt. Still, it was a sign that they were getting closer, something that Dane welcomed.

"Hey Mike," he asked suddenly as they continued to follow Aerodactyl. "Mind if I ask you something random? You seem really close to all your Pokemon, and you're the kind of person who respects Pokemon almost as though they were people. What do you think of Ditto? I hear some people don't like them because they seem deceptive...but what do you think?" Hoping it wasn't too strange a question, Dane mentioned, "My mom had a Ditto, a long time ago. I don't remember it, though...maybe she had it before I was born and it died or left or something, but...she always seemed to have fond memories of it." Smiling nostalgically, Dane added, "I don't think they're deceptive. I think maybe they're just...worldly? Is that the word for it? Like, they can understand anyone, huh...?"

Michele was deciding quickly that he didn't like caves and caverns and all that sort of jazz. It was getting downright irritating--wandering about with little to no direction. How annoying. But having someone else with him made it a little easier. And Aerodactyl's presence was scaring off all of the Zubat that would normally cause a lot of annoyance.

Grey eyes flicked up to the other boy when the question came,
"Ditto-?"
That was a random question. Michele took a long moment to contemplate it. It wasn't something he'd thought about before. He didn't particularly judge Pokemon right away, just as he did with people.
"I dunno. I guess it is a little deceptive, but it's not their fault. They were born Ditto...and so what they do is just in their nature. I don't think they hurt anyone by being what they are." He looks up at Dane thoughtfully, "I guess you could call them worldly. I guess you can really understand anyone when you can become them....."
He dropped his gaze, still thinking,
"....It's actually a really good thing, huh-? To be able to understand...."
His voice was suddenly sort of distant. It would be a good thing, to understand everyone. Then maybe some of the things from my past wouldn't be such a big deal. If I could understand, maybe it wouldn't hurt so much....?
Ultima keened lowly.

~~~~~
They stopped to rest in a cavern large enough for Aerodactyl to do so comfortably. Michele circled about for a while, looking around in interest, leaving Ultima and Jolteon to frolic in his footsteps. Occasionally one of them would bump into the back of his legs, and it was uncertain as to whether it was on purpose or just accidental fun.
It was such a vast cavern though, really......Eventually, he flopped down next to where Dane was sitting.
".......you can't see the ceiling, it's too dark." He said, ".....I don't really like it."
What could be up there, that we can't see? It's unnerving.
"I'd really like to just find the Orb and get out of here."
He sighed and leaned into Dane, stuffing his hands into his pockets,
".....this isn't exactly my ideal place to hang out, you know~?"
PostPosted: Sat Nov 12, 2011 7:08 pm
Hearing Mike's response, Dane couldn't help himself. Stopping in his tracks, he turned to Mike and wrapped his arms around the smaller boy's shoulders. Without saying anything, he pulled him close and nuzzled against Mike's soft hair. Even though he couldn't say it, Mike's understand was all he could have asked for at that point. It was all he needed.
---
Smile, Dane said, "I'm used to it, mostly. I've been in a lot of different caves, from ones I can barely fit through to ones like this, where I can't see the ceiling. You eventually stop worrying so much about what you can't see, and learn to focus on what's within your reach." Resting an arm around Mike's shoulders, Dane asked, "Aren't you getting used to it yet? All the traveling and the different scenery? It's one of my favourite parts of the job."
After they had rested for a while, the pair got back up and followed Aerodactyl through more caverns, around more stalagmites, and over more pits. Eventually, they found the Rock Orb, wedged within a large pile of fallen stone. After Aerodactyl had cleared the debris, Dane picked up the orb and place it gently in Mike's backpack. "Looks like we can finally get out of this dump," he said, not even realizing he'd said it.
Returning Aerodactyl to his Pokeball, Dane said, "How about Abra teleports us out of here and we spend a quiet night at that inn in Lavender Town? Tomorrow we can just fly wherever we need to...Johto, right? Man, I can't believe we've already come this far..."
The sun was setting. Michele petted the top of his Abra's head affectionately when the teleportation was done,
"Thanks again, buddy."
He tucked the PokeBall away safely when that Pokemon was safely inside. Then he picked Ultima up off the ground, letting her hop back onto his shoulder, and then to the top of his head. And then he took Dane's hand, like always,
"Alright. Let's get to the Inn before it gets totally dark. Lavender Town is really creepy after the sun goes down."
It was why Michele even shut the blinds when they checked into their room. The Ghost Pokemon pretty much ruled this place, not just the Tower. He dressed into his pajamas without a problem though, placing the pack full of Orbs under the bed. He hoped that nothing would mess with it.....After all, they'd gone through a lot to get each one. He could help but think back to the Electric Orb. Zapdos....what had that bird been doing at the Power Plant? It was weird but....Sometimes you just couldn't explain Pokemon.
The room had two queen-sized beds, but one went ignored. Michele climbed into bed next to Dane without even thinking about it. It was funny how things had become so customary....He didn't mind it though. He just snuggled down next to him, under the blankets. His hand ended up holding one of Dane's....and so he laced his fingers into the spaces between the other boys'.
".....I like sleeping with you," Mike's voice was low and quiet, and he was blushing a bit, "It....makes me feel safe..."
Might as well be honest.
He liked Dane quite a bit, more everyday, and he wanted to be liked in return. Maybe even.....he didn't know. He'd never felt this way before....
He just knew it was easier to fall asleep when Dane was next to him.
~~~

The bus only went as far as Route 22. They'd have to go the rest on their own. Through Victory Road and then all the way across into Johto. Michele was a little nervous about it.
"Jeeze, I think we're the only people that are passing through Victory Road and NOT going on to the Indigo Plateau."

Michele had never seriously considered going to fight the Elite Four and the current Champion. He just didn't have the ambition, and he didn't feel like putting his Pokemon through such a stressful event. Plus, he honestly didn't think any of them were ready for it. And that included him.
He just wasn't interested in fame.

"I hope that we don't get challenged to any battles." He said idly, as they walked, "I mean, surely we can just reason that we're walking to Johto. I guess everyone else would have taken the train." Michele frowned, "But we just didn't have the money for it....those over-priced bastards."

Ultima actually giggled at the curse word.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 19, 2011 8:05 pm

As the two settled down into their room, Dane couldn't help glancing over at his partner constantly. Hearing Mike's kind words early, and everything they meant to him...he'd fallen in love all over again, even though they'd still only been together for such a short time. Now he knew, whenever he was ready, he could count on Mike to be there for him. Even though he was still afraid, he felt no rush and no guilt; the time would come.

"Same here," he whispered as they snuggled close, happier than ever to have someone there to comfort him. As they laid there, falling asleep, Dane knew exactly what he wanted to do. He finally had a plan.

---

As they were walking along, Dane was just waiting for them to find someplace quiet, somewhere he knew no other trainers would bother them. Finally, just before they rounded a corner, Dane said, "Hey, Mike...I want to give you something." Reaching down, he unhooked the puzzle cube he always kept clipped to his belt and smiled fondly at it. "This is something that I've had for a long time...almost as long as I can remember. I can't really tell you everything about it and all that it means to me just yet...but I want you to hold onto it for me. Think of it like...a promise ring. It would mean a lot to me if you'd keep it safe." As awkward as he felt, Dane held the cube out to Mike and waited for a reply.

"I mean, it isn't really valuable itself...it just means a lot to me. And so do you. So I was hoping...you could......this sounds pretty lame, doesn't it?" he asked, knowing how strange it probably looked. "I promise, though, when we reach the end of all this, I'll tell you all about it. Until then...please, keep it just as it is now."

Michele didn't know what to make of it.
It wasn't the fact that Dane was handing him an old puzzle cube. It was the fact that Dane was handing him something that was very important to him. He swallowed thickly, blushing darkly across his cheeks as he took the object into his hands.
It means a lot to Dane...

....and.....so do I...?

Michele nodded a little, smiling up at his partner, embarrassed.
".....It doesn't sound lame at all. Of course I'll hang onto it for you.....I'll take care of it."

This little cube was precious to him already. He would make sure that no harm would come to it, as if it were his own.

~~~~
Of course, the cube made him feel rather thoughtful all day. It was tucked away safely into the pocket of his jacket, under the hand that rested within in. His other hand was in Dane's, his fingers pressed comfortably into the spaces between his. The Trainers they did pass (most of them beaten by the Elite Four and heading home) glanced over them in either confusion or disgust....And Michele found himself able to not care. Their opinions weren't important to him. It was shocking for him to find out.....When had he become confident in this relationship-?
His fingers ghosted over the cube in his pocket.
....Ah.
Yeah.
~~~~~~~~~~

Victory Road was a really long road. It was, at least, definitely a challenge. But Michele was getting increasingly fit with all this traveling and, luckily, he wasn't struggling to keep up with Dane so much anymore. When they stopped to make camp as the sun set, he folded up his jacket around the cube in his pocket and gathered sticks for Dane to make the fire.
He caught himself looking at the back of Dane's jeans.
.....
He blushed and looked away, clearing his throat and coming over to dump the bundle of sticks nearby. Okay. Yeah. Calm down, Michele. It's not a bad thing to look. I mean, he's an attractive guy. And you're.....you're falling in love with him so.....don't worry so much.
Oh gods, his brain was going to explode.

"Hey, Dane....I'm gunna take a look around here. Don't worry, I won't wander too far."

Ultima galloped after him, staying close to his heels. Michele just needed some time to think. And he just couldn't think about Dane very well, knowing that he was only a few feet away.

There was a stream nearby, surprisingly.
Even more surprising? The almost invisible Orb that was sitting on the bottom.
"Holy hell.....look at that-"
Ultima mewled. She seemed nervous as her Trainer kneeled down on the bank, to reach down and grab it. It seemed to be right on the surface, so he just rolled up his sleeve and reached. The water was bitterly cold, but he dealt with it.
It was deeper than his thought. He had to lean in almost to the elbow before his fingers even touched the glass. He frowned and reached harder, using his other hand to ground himself. Dammit, why couldn't any of this be easy?!
His knees slipped.
Ultima let out a cry--Michele's was smothered by the water that came up to meet his face. And hell...it was damn cold. But the stream wasn't deep enough to stop the momentum. Mike was nearly knocked out cold by a smooth river rock at the bottom.
But he managed to take hold of the Orb and, somehow, stumble away from the water. He was dizzy and sort of disoriented.
"A-Alright, Ultima.....l-lead the way back, will you-?"
The Eevee nodded and bounded in the direction she knew Dane was. Michele stumbled after her. Hell.
He always got himself into trouble or got himself hurt when Dane wasn't around. How funny.
Ultima cried out in shock when her Trainer lost his battle with staying conscious halfway back. The Orb remained firmly under his hand.

I really give Dane a hard time with all of this, don't I?.....I bet he won't be happy, when I.....get back to him....

Ultima raced ahead, desperate to get her Trainer's partner.
If anyone had a reason to be irritated it was this Eevee.
What a careless master she had-!

~~~~~~
((Michele is going to have an interesting dream. XD Also, I wasn't sure about how they find this Orb on the road so I bullshitted it. Hope you don't mind. XD ))
PostPosted: Sun Nov 27, 2011 10:21 pm
As he was making the fire, Dane couldn't stop thinking of Mike. Their time together thus far had been amazing...from their chance encounter at the Pokecenter, all the way here and beyond. They really did make an amazing team, and Dane had noticed how much Mike's traveling and exploration skills had improved since they had set out. He appreciated all of the effort Mike was putting into their journey, especially because he knew how much more difficult it was for his partner.
Glad that Mike had taken his cube as a token of their bond, Dane began to daydream about the life they might have together after this journey was over. Would they continue exploring as a team? Would they end up settling down? Would they be able to make it all work? Whatever happened, Dane knew that Mike would always be his number one.
Hearing Ultima's distressed keen, Dane immediately hopped up, wondering if the two had been attacked. Seeing the Eevee run into the light of the fire, however, Dane knew something was wrong with Mike. Following her back to her own, Dane cussed as he knelt down beside Mike, first making sure was still breathing and then pocketing the orb that had tumbled out of his hand. "Why the hell is his head and shirt all wet?" he asked no one in particular as he flipped the bow over and carried him back to the campfire.
Sitting down in the warm glow, Dane stripped Mike of his soaking shirt and, unable to find where the boy kept his clothing, pulled one of his own oversized shirts on him instead. Holding Mike close to keep him warm, Dane looked over at Ultima and asked, "So what happened?" Hearing her yip and keen, Dane remembered the little stream that had been near where he'd found Mike and said, "That idiot. Why didn't he just call me over? I could have helped...does he not want my help? Am I being too overbearing?" he asked, but got no reply from Ultima, who only looked at him sadly.
Holding Mike tight, Dane only hoped that his partner didn't feel smothered, having to stay so close all of the time. Even if it was usually out of necessity, Dane loved the fact that they always slept together and often walked side-by-side. And from what Mike had said...Dane knew that he did as well. Perhaps Mike just hadn't wanted to be a burden. Shaking his head, Dane waited for Mike to awaken.
He wasn't exactly sure where he was, but it was warm and comfortable here. He was in a bed, it seemed. He sat up and looked around. The room was unfamiliar, but it was somehow homey and made him feel safe. He saw Ultima on the other side of the room, curled up and sleeping peacefully on a large, plush looking cushion. He smoothed the blankets over his own knees, getting a good look at his own legs.....they were just his legs, though oddly bare for his own pajamas. And then he realized that he was only in his boxers, and that was weird.
He heard his name and turned his head, surprised to see Dane there for some reason. He looked a little different......his hair was longer, was that it? He wasn't sure, but he didn't have time to say anything before the other boy was smothering him with kisses. Also in nothing more than his boxers, Dane too easily pushed him down and pinned him gently to the bed. Michele was breathless and overwhelmed in only a few minutes, but couldn't find the voice to protest the affections. There were whispered declarations of love and firm and meaningful touches. Michele gasped a little as the touches went lower, and he knew where this was going. But this was just a dream, right? Was it a dream...? He didn't really care. He wasn't going to stop Dane's advance.....he wanted......
It was only a little while before Michele's consciousness returned to him. He blinked to clear his vision, grey eyes wandering. Oh....so it was just a dream.......How unfortunate. He felt a little awkward, a little hot and bothered, but wasn't that sort of normal considering what he'd just dreamed about? Where was he now-?
He was close to a fire, and--His eyes wandered up to see Dane's face above him. He blushed.
Oh, he must have found him.....
"Uh-" he wasn't sure of what to say, "H-Hi....um.....I'm sorry about the, uh....fiasco.....I didn't mean to...." He made an embarrassed and flustered sound, "....it was an accident. I was just reaching for the Orb and I slipped, whacked myself on the head....I-I.....The creek is deeper than it looks."
He shifted a bit, his arms coming down to cover the issue he was having. Oh gods, how was he going to hide that-? How was he going to get rid of that without Dane noticing-!? How embarrassing...
And then he realized--....Wait a minute.
He blinked,
"......am I wearing your shirt?"
