Daphne nodded at Lupin's instructions. Her list of offensive spells was very short. She held out her hand to form a mini tornado in her hand. She pulled her arm back only to throw it. As it went closer to Lupin it grew in size until it was taller than him with raging winds.

Jason took some more water and tried again. This time, he was more successful. He had healed the pigeon, but the bones didn't set right. He didn't notice and held his hands open to let the pigeon fly. It left his hands, only to fall to the ground.

As the tornado hit Lupin, the forcefield he had generated shined brilliantly. A piece of it cracked and broke off. He didn't flinch or show any signs of moving. He waited for the other students to take the offensive.
"Good work. Jason, you have the right idea, but i can feel your nervous. There is no need to be, im not going to scold you. I am your teacher, try again." He smiled and it was like water, refreshing, cool, free.

"Jason what about if you empty your mind and don't think just concentrate on healing." Alex played with the water in the pool.

"OK." Jason picked the bird up again and splashed it with water. He took a few deep breaths and tried clearing his mind. He focused on healing the injury properly. The water glowed and the bones set properly. Sam opened his hands and the bird flew off. "Yes," he said, pumping his fist.

"See concentration is the key sometimes, what my father used to say." Alex smiled and nodded.

Noah saw that it was his chance to practice some fire magic. He saw that there is a forcefield so he thought smart. "The Fire Insingreating spell," Noah chanted "Ofrinohno!" The spell soared from his wand, flying it way to the the sheild, ready to destroy the force field.

Lupin's pupils dilated. Noah was definitely a very well sought out defensive magic user. He raised his hands started gathering the wind in the class room. It blew with tremendous force. One of the tornadoes in the corner of the room wrapped itself around Lupin's arm creating a funnel. The force field had disappeared in the process and the mouth of the tornado had opened wider engulfing the flame. The flame traveled down Lupin's arm in the tornado and was released behind him engulfing the wall, turning it to ash. "Very good, strong magic, and also taught the class another lesson. Every fight is not won with offensive magic or force. Sometimes it can be won simply by tiring out your opponent by displacing their spell somewhere else."
"Good work guys, im impressed." Felix applauded softly and smiled. "Now lets learn some water techniques. Let us try a simple, but fun one that allows the user to breath under water. So, into the pool!" He did a back flip into the water splashing the two on the land.

Noah never saw the spell before. He thought to himself "Well all of the books are going to have every spell," Noah listen on about how you waste your oppoents energy first then you attack. He wasn't much of a defensive person, so he didn't know much, but knew enough. Noah felt another blast of the same power that he felt earlier again. "Ok this isn't normal, something is up," Noah kept it on his mind to remember.

"Well so, the first thing is....get use to the water and have fun in it. Water is free flowing and calm. It does what it pleases, but can follow any path it wishes. The only way you can use it for you is if it wants you to use it." Felix dived deeper into the water and started sending rip tides through the pool dragging his students around as if they were on water slides.
Lupin looked at his students and nodded. "First thing, the defensive spell i did use was called the Chrome Shell. It works as multiple lives in deadly situations. With each hit it gets weaker. To use this spell you must feel as though your a turtle. The shell being your shell, imagine it, feel its presence, and then hold firm, immovable." He looked around and showed them the technique. He then looked to Noah. "I got wind from my brother that you were a wand user, i like that, very old magic, but powerful." He shifted through his books and pulled out an almost identical book to Archer's, but the symbol was of a fist holding a want, strong and firm." Your spells will be in their for defensive magic."

Jason's gut reaction was to use earth magic to block the water's path, but he held back knowing he'd get in trouble if he did. The rip tides were fun. He dived and made the water shoot up with a geyser, sitting on top of it.
