Thankfully Vaith caught her one way or another, but she didn't quite realize how thankful she should probably be for that. All she knew is that for a single moment she felt like she was falling, but then she wasn't. She was standing up, she knew that, but otherwise...the rest was a mystery! Well, for a moment. At the concerned voice, she looked up, registering the Reaper that stared down at her.
"Uh huh." She said with a nod when her wellbeing was questioned. Not the quiet, murmuring way she usually talked; but out loud, and pretty happy sounding. The 'innocent' punch was already hitting her as it should; her body was small, physically only around nine...and it didn't help that she was missing quite a bit of skin and tissue to help dissolve it. "I did! At first it was boooooring, but nooow..." She puffed out her only cheek for just a moment, trying to think up the right word. "Now I feel kinda funny. Why? Did you?" The girl informed him cheerfully, finally staring up at him wide a wide, gray eye.
"I'm..." There was a slight pause and a reversed hand lifted, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Amrita! Who're you?"

Rain poured herself another glass of punch, sniffing it curiously. Had her earlier inspection been wrong? Was there something off about this drink? She usually had an excellent sense of smell but she was a nervous wreck. Scratch that, she IS a nervous wreck. She so badly wanted this party to be a success. Shrugging, she downed it in two gulps before pouring herself another. It did seem to take the nerves off. Perhaps soon, she would be able to mingle and actually party with the rest. Maybe.. just maybe.. she could muster up the courage to ask one of the boys to dance. Yeah, right. There'd be a greater chance of pink elephants showing up, or a dead rat flying.
"I hope everyone is having a good time," she announced loudly, speaking to no one specifically, before a hiccup escaped her mouth. Blushing profusely, she drowned her face into her glass of punch. What had brought that on?

Malodore hadn't intended to go to any silly parties. Unfortunately, it had not counted on Luce.
It seemed all the noise emanating from the party room had attracted the cwn annwn's attention. Malodore had been innocently passing by, with Luce on the end of her leash, enjoying a pleasant constitutional, when suddenly the pup exploded into happy barking and practically dragged Malodore into the room before tearing the leash out of its hand.
To Luce: People! People! People! HI! HI! HI! HI!
To Malodore: Merde. People.
But there was no catching Luce when she was in a mood. Malodore watched her bound, utterly at a loss. "Scuse," it said, to the room in general as Luce bounced on her hind legs.

It was hard to say what brought Livius here. Could it be the oddly empty halls of people had him curious as to where they had disappeared to? Possibly. It had struck the demon as a trifle odd that such a popular school would be like a ghost time at a decent part of the evening. And he had been expecting a lot more than halls upon halls of silence. So a-hunting he went, looking for something to give him a clue as to where people were. The poster was the first hint that he had to find this 'party'. Hmm...
It took a bit more hunting, since he was definitely not used to the school yet, but the sounds finally reached his ears and he found where everyone was. An arched brow jacked up at the view before him. Interesting... in an odd way. He wasn't used to parties quite like this, but hell. A party was a party, after all! And these people looked like they were having fun! A faint smirk twisted his lips as he strode into the room. It didn't bother him that he knew absolutely no one there, but such things were always meant to be changed and for the 'better'. He walked by someone else close by the door, and out of training, nodded his head in greeting. No need to be rude, right?
For now, he'd check out what kind of refreshments were to be had. This place should have a decent spread, right?

Junko thought she felt okay. Sure, she was feeling a teensy bit tingly in her head but not terribly so! She'd only had three drinks! Maybe if she had a snack, but when she went to turn to the snack table when she saw it. It was bright, it was big, it was pink...what the Hell was that? Junko blinked and just stared, watching as an increasingly large pink elephant floated past her. Was no one else seeing these!? Her jaw dropped as she whirled around to see if anyone else was pointing them out, not wanting to look crazy for being the only one seeing elephants, but then suddenly Thackery was crying out and pointing at each of them. He saw them too! Oh thank goodness! "Oh! So...they're really real..." She wasn't crazy! Heh. Good. Okay. She watched a pair of boils glide off to poke at them, one of them bouncing in her direction and she gasped and fled out of the way. Gah! She didn't want to get trampled by a pink elephant!
Suddenly she heard barking and she jumped away from it, only ever used to hearing Breck's hounds barking at her as they chased her out of his shed. She wasn't doing anything don't--oh! It was a puppy! "Aww, aren't you adorable." She cooed to the puppy, reaching down to pick him up for a hug. But then another elephant seemed to be bouncing their way! Oh no! The...the puppy! She had to save the puppy! She scooped the puppy up in her arms with a worried whimper and hurried out of the bouncing elephant's way, hugging the puppy protectively. Phew! Saved it!

Malodore blinked as a pretty young ghoul in a kimono bent down and scooped Luce up, then darted to the side as if something was after her. Luce had no objections - she yipped twice and began covering the girl's face with wet puppy-kisses.
The plague doctor, nonplussed, sidled up to the girl. "Ah... buon giorno?" it offered. Luce wagged her tail and yipped again.

Violet eyes were wide as LW watched other creatures start to act funny. For once, she was SUPREMELY glad that she had rolled a lower number for a drinking game. The she-wolf was currently watching two boils attempt to point? Poke? Do something that was beyond her. It was absolutely hilarious to watch though.
At least until Iggy was hiding behind one of her wings and then tugging excitedly at the she-wolf's arm. "Wait. See what?!" Blinking, LW tried to see what her friend was pointing at. She saw nothing. "Floating? Pink elephants?!" Obviously, the she-wolf was missing out on something.
"Wait! Iggy, I don't think it's a good idea for you to try and fly." She tried to make herself heard over the sudden increase in volume of some. Her gaze was immediately drawn to a very loud proclamation of someone being a 'good kisser'. What the Jacking hell?! And...what was that thing running around and making even more noise. It looked like a puppy and was saying something too, but LW couldn't figure out what as she stayed glued to Iggy's side now.

She was glad the puppy was okay, it was just be devastating to everyone if there was suddenly puppy pancakes for lunch! Or something. But there was one thing she hadn't been anticipating and so was definitely not prepared for; puppy kisses. Suddenly the puppy was licking all over her face and she clamped her mouth and eyes shut at first, but before long she was giggling and squirming a little with the puppy in her arms. It tickled! "Eugh, Junko! That's disgusting!"
"I'm sorry but--hehe!-- it ti-tickles! Haha!" Junko nuzzled her face against the top of the puppy's head when suddenly she heard a vaguely familiar voice, one she'd heard in a few of her classes but had never really been directed at her before. She jumped, hugging the puppy in a more comforting manner and staring at the plague doctor with wide eyes. Oh! Hey! He was talking to her! Neat! But what did bwon jorno mean? "Uh..hello!" She blinked, looking down at the puppy and then up to the boil again. "Is this your puppy?"

The other voice suddenly emanating from the girl's head startled Malodore, and it reached out for Luce protectively. The puppy leapt into Malodore's arms, licked its beak, then bounded down onto the punch table.
"Ah... yes, she's mine," Malodore managed. "Thank you for catching her."
A familiar slurping, lapping sound intruded on Malodore's thoughts then, and the plague doctor turned and saw Luce with her head down in the punch bowl, drinking away! "Luce! No, tresorina-" It grabbed the cwn annwn by the scruff and hauled her up.
Luce hiccuped and squirmed free, then leapt back towards Junko. Cuddly person with cuddly sleeves was CUDDLY!

"But I want to fly! I've always wanted to fly!! I tried once but it didn't work. I jumped from the hilltop and flapped and flapped but it didn't work. I fell instead. Pickfoot said I flew like a rock." this last sentence had a bit of sadness in the tone.
"Pink must be magic! Elephants fly pink so you have to help me get pink to fly! please?" Iggy looked to her new friend, sure she could do anything. She was wearing a crown after all!

Junko was a bit saddened by the way he took the puppy back, her eyes turning toward Her and understanding completely. She sighed, rubbing at the back of her neck and feeling a bit awkward now. The puppy was happy, but now she wished she could hold her again. "She's adorable! And you're welcome, I couldn't just let her be crushed by a rampaging pink elephant." Junko said seriously, because she really was being serious. That pink elephant could have really hurt the poor puppy! "What's her na--" She was cut off by the scolding of the puppy who had been drinking the punch, gasping softly and pressing her fingers against her lips. Oh dear, would the puppy be okay? Luce? Or was that more of his weird language?
Suddenly the puppy was coming at her and she gasped, quickly scrambling to catch her and cuddle her in her arms. So cute! She had a pair of pygmy foxes and few kattis back in her dorm whom she loved dearly but this puppy was just so cute! "Aren't you precious~." She giggled, looking up to the boil and giving him a slight bow that wouldn't disturb the puppy. "My name's Junko. We've had a couple classes together..but I don't think we've ever formally met~!" Junko said with a smile, scritching behind one of Luce's ears.

"Elephants," said Thackery, eyes narrowing. The girl's suggestion seemed to be solid. They looked like elephants (he supposed), but he didn't remember anything about them being pink- ohJack was this a portable Princess Corner? His ears pinned tightly back against his hair, he grabbed Claire by the shoulders to better focus her attention, his punch-cup weapon clattering to the floor.
"We...have...to stop them." His eyes went wide as he saw one of the pillowy creatures bouncing closer to them. "There isn't much time! But how....?"
He shifted, locked elbows with Claire, and stood with his hands on his hips, surveying the scene. It looked grim. So very grim.

LW believed the 'flew like a rock'. She patted Iggy's arm. "I-I'm sure you will eventually get to fly." That was safe in saying, right? She really didn't know what else to say to that. Something was wrong with that punch and more creatures were falling under its tasty charm.
"Pi-ink?" The she-wolf stammered. "But elephants aren't supposed to fly." Unless there was some breed she hadn't ever heard of before. "I...uh...can sure try to help you get p-pink." Candlejack. "Erm, we'll...umm..." Her eyes darted around, trying to find something that could help her here. Was there something, anything, she could use to make Iggy pink? Was that even a good idea?!
"Pink...pink..." She muttered under her breath while she kept looking around.

The puppy leaned hard into the scratch, her eyes rolling back in her head a little. Then she hiccuped again; since she was so small, the hiccup made her whole body jump.
Bemused, Malodore glanced up at Junko. "I believe you are correct. My name is Malodore, and this is Luce." The pink elephant comment was deeply confusing, but there was no reason not to be polite. Especially when Luce seemed so taken with the ghoul.
Still, Malodore couldn't help but at least ask. "Ah... what pink elephant?"

"I knew you could help! Anyone with a sparkly crown like yours has to be smart!" Igneous was delighted at the thought of getting the chance to achieve a lifelong dream. The fact that her life has been less than two years didn't make it any less a true dream at all!
Satisfied for the moment, she sat down on a nearby chair. The elephants appeared to be dancing a jig near the door and one was floating blissfully by with some flowers held in it's trunk. She reached out and grabbed one to offer to LW.
"flower?"
