Leon's eyes momentarily focused. Tired...I...need to lay down... He stumbled back the the dispensiary before closing the door and making his way to the bed. He passed out on the floor, knocking over the stuff on the table near him making a semi audible crash as his body rested.

I am not cocky,
Canaan watched as Leon stumbled back to the infirmary. "Seems like its a lot of work just to look out for one another." She smiled thinking about some of the other missions Jack and herself had been on. "Being a meister has its responsibilities I suppose." She smiled whole heartedly.

"Mhm! True, true, true.." Hearing the commotion, she groaned. "Like this." Walking away and after he partner, she muttered "And I knew he'd try and get up again...I knew he wouldn't listen..." Frowning again, Sita carefully got him onto the bed he'd been on with little difficulty, being careful of his shoulder. "Idiot." She hoped he'd stay, and closed the door behind her as she went back out to join her friend.

The day you touch my Meister... Jack nodded and looked at Sita. "Hey Sita." he said, breaking free from staring into space. "Leon's hurt again?" he asked, shaking his head slightly. He looked at his Meister. "Well, hopefully this mission will go smoothly." he said. He remembered the last time they went on a mission like this. They'd almost got creamed by the Evil Human, until Canaan had a burst of inspiration, and thought of a plan that lead to order being restored, and got Jack a soul. Jack grinned slightly. "Well, being a weapon has its perks as well." he said. Of course, he was thinking about the soul, but not every mission was a type of "capture the soul" mission.... Is the day that I die trying to protect her.

"Yeah, sometimes I wonder how it seems for someone to be the weapon...How does it feel when you guys fight? Or resonance?" Sita asked and looked down the hall, wishing her own partner wasn't so good at getting hurt.

I am not cocky,
Canaan smiled to Jack. "I sure hope it runs smoothly as well." Her tone was calm and her expression brimmed with an eager aura of excitement for the upcoming mission. "I always wondered about that as well, what is it like being a weapon?" She asked.

Leon tossed in his sleep. He was sweating and panting as he slept, the medicine wearing off. He was quiet, but growing sicker from the poison slowly starting to take affect. It was almsot time for a pill.

The day you touch my Meister... Jack shrugged before speaking. "Well, for starters, it's fun. We can change any part of our body into our weapon form. We can devour souls. Although, I wouldn't recommened you Meisters to try. You wouldn't like it. Sure, we defend you with our lives, but that's what makes it challenging. That, and when we set out on missions, it's the Meisters that rely on us to help them. Also, when we use resonance, it's like putting our brain with yours. We're quick to respond, and in some cases, we unleash powerful moves." he explained. Jack put his hands in his pockets and smiled. "So, I'll ask this. How's it like being the Meister?" he asked.... Is the day that I die trying to protect her.

She nodded at his first explanation and was remembering Leon changing his arms back at the warehouse. Taking a minute, she wondered what answer to give. "Well, first off, when we do fight alongside our partners the bond becomes more apparent and alot more...Noticable. You can feel it, especially during resonance and when you attack. The two souls weigh perfectly in the battles and help the meister accieve an increased wavelength...Also, of course we rely on our partners, but there are times when we don't have them, or we can't use them, and we can manipulate our wavelengths to use as a defense..." Looking at Canaan to see if she had anything to add, Sita wondered if she could do the same.

Leon woke up panting, it had almost been a hour. He looked around weakly, feeling the table for the pills, but found nothing. He cussed, his meister still had the pills. He gasped in pain, clutching his arm tightly as he tried to stand up but fell against the bed again. Sita... He mumbled weakly, trying to flare his soul wavelength as a warning.

Canaan listened to Jack's explanation and smiled, then heard Sita's verse on being a meister. "That covers most of the connection basis from a single perspective at least. Fighting alongside someone is like, a storm kinda. The rain depends on the clouds, without it the rain wouldn't be able to fall, like thunder and lightning as well. Lightning splits the cloud, and the thunder is the sound sewing the clouds back together." She tensed slightly. "Kind of a rough explanation but that's how I see it, there's more than techniques involved you have to feel the connection."

Sita smiled at Canaan's point of view, and was about to say something when she felt Leon's soul. Sighing and tanding away from the wall, she walked back to the infirmary rather fast and filled up the cup, setting that down with the pills before sitting down herself. She grimaced a little at how he looked, and waited.

So..rr...y.. He reached over and took the pills quickly, almost immediately relaxing from the poison relief. Sorry...sita.....so..about that mission.. He said sitting up slowly, holding his head.

"Sorry about what? I just didn't leave them because I worried you'd throw 'em away once I left." She leaned back in the chair and looked over at him. "Which mission? The one we were all talking about, going together?"

No..sorry for being.a bother...and let's go..on the mission.. He tried to stand up wekaly, stumbling a bit before sitting back down. He winced, lets...go
