shadow curled up in a ball on the couch,making herself as small as she could,but that didnt stop the tears. i guess i deserve that, she thought to herself, dark star on the other hand wasnt to impressed that little runt, how dare he call you that, let me out,im bloodthirsty! she argued but shadow woudlnt let her you've ruined my life more than once before,your staying put she sent back while the tears kept going.

he saw the wall and said "ugh..i guess i should fix that" he went over to a supply closet and started working on the wall all the while saying to himself "what if?....what if she had said it back?....." he was confused and frstrated

shadow kept silent, since the room was dark from having no lights on since noone was living here.the tearss spilled down her cheek as she listened to what he said.

shadow couldnt speak, her throat was narrow and her breath shallow.to let him know she'd heard him she stretched out on the couch, no longer hiding her presence, she was however faced inwards so her face was hidden.

he saw her and he didnt say a word until he was about to put up the last bourd he said to her "i only try to help people out you know..and tell that black star inside your head that i could take her on any day" he put the last bourd up sealing her from his veiw

shadow let as many tears out as she could, she didnt normally get this upset,every few centuries she had a breakdown but normally that was when darkstar went on rampage.on hearing his challenge darkstar laughed let me teach him a lesson, i'll rip him apart then you wont feel so weak anymore and i can get a good feast she said before shadow blocked her mind so he couldnt hear her anymore. will you be quiet im sick of listening to you shadow growled at her in her mind but just stayed lying on the couch.

kori didnt sleep well that night or the noights after that he didnt even move from his bed for an entire week

shadow stayed in the room the entire week,not wanting to move and slowly becoming more thirsty, her throught burning but she ignored, leo walked by a few times but never entered, able to tell that she wasnt in the mood for company. her eyes had changed from their normal ice blue to a bloodthirsty glaring red but she still didnt leave the room,as if she was guarding his room so that he wouldnt do anything dangerous.

kori finally getting up went to the top floor of the building and saw the distance down "well...at least she would nt have to deal with me anymore..." he was planning suicide

shadow heard him leave and listened carefully,following his footsteps and realising he'd gone to the roof"no!" she screeched as she flitted up to the roof"kori no!" she screeched as she bursted through the roof door.

there where only to things stopping him from jumping off 1. her screaming and two a gust of air that was repelling him "why not? not like you would give a damn anyway" he was on the edge of the roof ready to jump at any moent he was waiting to hear what she had to say

"because your my friend! im not going to let you kill youeself!" she yelled but at that moment his scent carried on the wind to her and she colapsed to her knees, her hand at her throught. she was fighting the urge to run over and bite him.

his face and body was facing her he held out his arms like he was on a cusifixtion stnace and then with a single push from his legs he started to fall downward to the ground
