Moira kept changing what she was looking at, first at her near invisible feet, then Vic, then at his feet then to everyone around them and back to Vic. As they accidentally bumped into other people as they moved and swayed to the music which didn't seem like proper waltzing music, which it wasn't. "They need different music." She mutters under her breath as she let herself be lead, making a mental promise to herself to learn how to dance so she wouldn't play the part of a fool next time. Not only that, but Moira had a feeling that there would be dancing competitions in the school, or some type of talent show... and for many people, fighting wasn't really a talent.

Vic was in a complete day dream as he stared into the girl that he didn't noticed that he had been getting closer to someone. Keeping up his dancing towards that person he soon bumped into the hard that sent him bumping into Moira then falling on top of her. The incubus boy was both angry and embarrassed at what had happened but he only let his embarrassment show with a small blush on his cheeks. Getting up first he then extended a hand to help Moira get up. As he did he wished hard that the girl had not been mad at what had happen and at that moment he remembered what his parents had taught him. "Sorry." He had spoken even if he disliked it so very much but he just wanted to get the point through that he meant it since he had voice it.

The girl let out a strange yelp of sorts when she fell backwards and Vic fell on top of her, leaving her quite startled, more so when he helped her back to her feet and apologized. 'He can talk?!' Moira thought to herself, staring wide eyed at the boy, having thought that he was mute thanks to his lack of speech and vocal activity. "I... you can talk?" She blurts out, her mind unable to stop herself from saying it out loud.

A surprised look came to Vic as the girl blurted out in shock from him speaking but a smile arose. Nodding to her he then made his hand look as if it was talking which was followed by pointing at himself then forming a X with his arms along with a pout. He hoped that Moira got his gesture meant that he disliked to talk. True it proved hard to explain things when he didn't want to talk but that was just how much he hated to talk. From the moment he was brought to this world he believe it was a waste to use his voice on those unless they were important.
Holding Moira's hand he looked to her again for some time. Pointing to his, his index finger slowly traveled down to where his heart was located to tell the girl that he spoke only when his heart was in it.

Moira continued to stare at the boy, watching his body language, hands, eyes, and anything else that would give her a clue as to what he was trying to get across. "Talking.. you don't like?" She asks, tilting her head a little, though she continued to speak up as he continued to make motions, much like sign language but personalized to some extent. "Heart..?" She questioned, furrowing her brows as she tried to think about what was trying to be said.

Vic nodded and was instantly happy that the girl got what he was trying to get through but it seemed as if she had not completely got the second part of what he was trying to show. Thinking for a bit his eyes soon went to Moira's hand and an idea popped into his head. Placing Moira's hand that he had been holding over his heart, he made her feel his heart beating. Soon enough he pointed over to his parents, with his mother on his father's lap while they embraced each other.

A bemused laugh jumped from Theo's throat as what the pirate girl said registered with him. Keep from biting me? What the hell? Sure he had made the comment first, but he hadn't expected her to smart back at him. Especially when she had looked so flustered previously; where had that comment even come from? Either way. Awesome. "I guess there's nothing stopping you from biting me, you're right. If you feel the need to, help yourself." And when he encouraged her to 'help herself', a tease underlined the tone of his voice. Theo probably would've continued on with his stupidly suggestive conversation, but his eyes caught something just over Willow's shoulder...and he stopped dead. Half of his smile cracked in half and he gave Sergei a very meaningful look. NO. NOT NOW.
Trying to be discreet with this look, he quickly grinned back at Willow as if nothing had happened, but at every point in time that he thought she wasn't paying attention...his eyes darted back. Of all times for tall, dark and tactless to show up, it had to be now? Not that he was worried that Willow would like him more. Of course not. Sergei wouldn't take this from him.
Adeline's posture straightened, and the snakes peering around her shoulders shifted around modestly, not looking at Sorrel when she gave the compliment. This was one occasion when it wasn't a problem, but it was obvious that Adeline wore her emotions on her sleeve...and her head. "I'm glad you showed up Sorrel, you look lovely too." She offered, with a quick glance down at the outfit her friend wore. So cute. She could get away with wearing all that color and do it justice. Turning back to the younger girl, she gave one short nod of understanding. "Yes...wow you did come with a pretty big group. That's a total of--ugh." Adeline came up short, wrinkling her nose again and frowning. "My brother is the one with the stupid pom-poms. I'm sorry he's talking to your sister." And she meant it - she was really sorry that he was. The nerve of the boy made her furious, although it was only because she had turn to glare at him that she suddenly noticed something she hadn't before.
Her snakes perked up. She pinched her lips together to try and hide a smile, and then looked carefully to the side so she faced Sorrel again. "Um, Sorrel?" She began, pausing for thought halfway through. "I think...you're being watched." And she stole one more glance across the room, meeting Hank's eyes again. Her conclusion made sense; she just noticed him looking over now, and Sorrel had just showed up. What else could it be?

She watches as Vic grabbed her hand and placed it over his heart, pressing down enough for her to feel the boys heart beating. Looking to where he had pointed to, Moira looks at the two adult males before looking back to Vic, "Are you sayin you only talk to.. people you like?" She asks curiously, frowning a little.
There had to be a way for her to get the boy to like her enough to talk more.

Cedric blinked. Ah, Edmund was talking to him, yes.
"Dancing is..." he paused, thinking of proper wording, "not my cup of tea. I have the inner rhythm of...well I can't think of anything witty to compare it to right now." He gave an awkward chuckle. "I honestly just came in hopes of finding someone interesting to converse with. I haven't met may people before coming here. In fact this is my...second school outing ever? Last was an Easter egg hunt back when I was smaller.
Zahur was about to say something, but there was the near destruction of the snack table and someone loosing his pants and it was making him feel uncomfortable, that and Silas had found someone new to talk to, and that new person didn't seem very interested in the mummy dressed boy, so he waved good bye to Silas and clambered back up onto the chair next to his father.
"Daddy?" he said, a slight waiver in his voice. "Can we go soon?" He didn't want to be the one to stop the fun, but he really wasn't enjoying himself. "Der's no more snacks now...and ders a mess and some'un pullin down peoples clothes..."
Sonnet watched the thing between Moira and Syth and such. At least Moira was getting attention from someone. That Vic boy seemed rather nice.
At the clatter of the snack table, Sonnet whipped around to see the mess unfold. While she couldn't get mad at a toddler, there was something about it that put her at an unease. There was something about it that made her feel that it wasn't just the toddler's doing, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
She moved to a corner slowly, making sure not to trip over herself in her shoes of doom, opting to just watch what was happening.

Syth watched from away, paying some attention to Moira, making sure things were fine for her nicer Daughter. When all seemed well, and Moira and Vic had gotten into the motion of things (And she was able to see the wonderful costume that was given to her), she couldn't help but smile as she walked back to the refreshment stand. Which, had managed to become a huge mess. Herself staring at what had been done to it cockeyed for a moment, before turning away, headed over towards Sonnet. Hopefully whatever happened with that would make Deskri think a bit before commenting on her parenting any further. While yes, she's made some huge mistakes, she didn't need to be battered about the head with them. She already had a horrible feeling in her gut.
"So, did you plan on doing anything Sonnet?" Syth asked, looking over the gothicly dressed angel, "Or are you going to let all that work go to waste and be a wallflower?"

[Ffff I totally forgot Des-shot-]
Deskri whipped his head around to stare that the refreshments table as soon as the commotion started. Oh god, oh god something is here and it's going to just ******** everything up! He looked for Sonnet, there was safety in numbers after all and she always seemed to have a level head even when s**t hit the fan.
She had managed to move off to the side without him noticing, something he found to be a miracle in those giant shoes. He moved over to her, but stayed a fair distance away from Syth, choosing to stand on Sonnet's other side and stare nervously at the table where some toddler seemed to be enjoying a sugary treat... Didn't that kid know something bad was happening? Thankfully for Syth he was much too freaked out to comment on her parenting.

Sonnet looked at Syth and then shrugged before looking out at the floor again.
"We're kind of out numbered." she stated blatently. "Most of the attendants are children, and while there is nothing wrong with that, it makes the party geared more towards that demographic..." She paused, looking towards Ialu and Silas.
"That, and with this new surge of children..." she looked off to nowhere in particular. "...is a new surge of 'problems'..."
She then laughed awkwardly. "But then again I could be completely wrong. I'm used to something horrible happening at these sort of things. I'm honestly surprised that the room hasn't imploded yet!"

[srsly guys, if I forget to reply with a Meta tell me, I can't hardly keep track of this thread. XDD hahahaa]
"Oh, we attended that too... but the ball portion, since the Easter Egg hunt was for toddlers." Aiden nodded his head a little. "We ended up leaving, it was... a little freaky there." He nodded at Deskri with a frown. "That guy's probably the reason why. The whole time he either had this look of death on his face or looked terrified, so obviously, something was going on that involved him and the other guy he was with."
When given the chance, River did indeed leave the dance floor, but it was mostly because the loud crash caused by playmate had scared him a bit. Everything had been fine and then BANG! things were not so fine at the refreshments table. All he could really do was sigh, he had wanted some of that punch.
Enosio looked down to Zahur and nodded slowly. "Yeah, we can go for a walk. It's getting a little crazy in here, isn't it?" He stood up and then lifted the toddler into his arms. "Shall we get River to come with us too? It looks like he's done dancing."
[hurr, Zahur the anti-drama child senses drama and therefore must leave. XD]
"Something already happened, and I'm pretty sure it's just the beginning..." Deskri mumbled his interjection under his breath, probably only loud enough for Sonnet to hear.

Nodding once more, he then stopped as he noticed the frown on the girl. Had he done something wrong? It caused the boy to frown as well. He really did hate to talk but it seemed to make the girl sad which was making Vic panic at the moment. In mid panic he got an idea. Unbuttoning his coat then shirt revealed a guitar pick necklace. Pulling it off with come force he took Moira's hand and placed the guitar pick necklace in her hand.

Moira had been staring at her feet for several seconds before the boys hand caught her attention, as well the necklace that he held in it. "Are you... giving this to me?" She asked curiously, not reaching for it yet in case it was a trick, which would be rather mean. That, and she wanted to make sure that he was really giving it to her. "But it's yours... your parents probably gave it to you so it must mean a lot.." she starts to ramble, feeling her gut tighten a little, unable to remember the last time she had gotten an item that wasn't food from her own parents.
