((I don't mind; although you'll have to be the aggressor, considering I'm just sitting on the other side of the lake minding my own business.))
Captain Zeno Angha took out his new wand. He had recently replaced it. The previous wand just didn't feel right, and it often malfunctioned. With the new elm wand, however, he felt more confident. The wand, of course, would be his secondary weapon. If it ever came down to a fight--which was relatively rare, considering he was a high-level officer, despite his actual military rank--he would use his gun, or perhaps his sword.
"Stossen," he said, and a silvery light burst from his wand and hit the water, creating a splash. He looked admiringly at his wand before putting it away and taking out his sketchbook. In his sketchbook were sketches of planes, hovercraft, missiles, and other weapons that he planned to build for the Bluecoats. He felt strongly that they were needed in order to eliminate the Redcoat threat forever.

"I'm fine Greg. Honestly, you need to stop trying to protect me. I'm not a child." She said. Myra got out of the water and she instantly became dry. She gave a hesitant glance at Zeno across the lake. "Zeno really is a good guy. He has good intentions. I just don't see why you two don't get along." Myra said, grabbing a hold of a branch and hoisting herself up into the tree next to Greg.

Greg nodded and helped steady Myra on the branch beside him. "I know he thinks for the better of all us......but like everybody in this army...he doesn't look at the bigger picture." he muttered also directing it to her as well. "Myra.....our goal is to stop the red army and protect man-kind correct?" he asked lightly. "How can we protect man-kind if we end up killing them all off until it's only us or them?" he asked in full seriousness. "That.....is the bigger picture Myra.." He took a glance at Zeno and studied him carefully, as he did with everybody. "His intentions are to build our army to a stronger power, something that could destroy anything or anybody in it's path. I ask again: Who'll be left besides one army when it's all over?"

Myra sighed. "I know the big picture Greg. But we also need to make sure the Red army doesn't succeed in making a new 'perfect race' which involves killing everyone off. And you'd think they would've learned from someone else's mistake." She told Greg. "I know you don't like Zeno but you'll have to deal with it. Right now we need his expertise to make our army better to stop them. After I'll promise to listen to your advice more often..n'est pas? okay?" She told him, with a strained smile on her face. It was hard listening to everyone's ideas about improving the army, when they really had no idea how hard it was. She'd like to see how they would last as the commander for a week. They'd start getting silver hairs!

((it's funny because he actually has silver hair anyways haha))
Greg nodded and looked at the sky above him....but insted of trying to stop them entirely, which would of course would mean eliminating them, what better would be then them? What's stopping us from destroying anybody who stands against our might.........He closed his eyes and watched the memory of his home burning after he had left to protect it.....either way, thousands will die..the best we can do is just prevent any more deaths and help aid the rebuilding of the lost lives.....He reopened his eyes and sat up looking at Myra with his silvery-gray eyes. "Do I have your permission to take a.......vacation?Mission?Trip? to snowtown to evaluate the damage and do any assistance i can on my own? I'd rather take a look for myself before bringing in a squad." He asked sternly, holding confidence, yet fearing for the no. He wanted to go for those reasons, but to also find the girl that had been looknig for her friend to see if she survived, to see the damage that his barrier couldn't prevent, to be there to apologize for the lost..

A soft smile crept onto Myra's lips. "Sure. You have a week mon amie. Je nagerai demain. I'm tired. Are you sure your okay?" She asked him as she stood up, balancing on the thin branch.
[Aww....I wanted to see the fight."]

((if we can think of something that'd start a fight, there'll be one))
Greg nodded and smiled lightly. "Thank you commander for your concerns, but i am well." he said making sure his markings from earlier were covered. "I request that you get some sleep...and that you not mention my.....visit...to snowtown until i request a reconstruction squad." He stood and took one more look at Zeno and frowned slightly, but maintained an even face...i hope he knows what he's doing.... "I'll send news to you within the next few days on the number i may need to rebuild" He took a step back and pulled his arms forward, showing the burns accidently and smiled. "Ianuae Magicae [teleport]" and in a flash of light, he was gone.

((It's a shame that you hold your character in such positive light. You won't even walk to the other side of the lake and start a simple fight!))
Zeno Angha finished sketching his drawing of an anti-ballistic missile. This would be the key to defending the Blue Capital against Redcoat aerial threats. The Redcoats obviously had superiority in the air; there was no doubting that. However, if the Bluecoats mastered Redcoat technology, the balance of power would surely change...
Still deep in thought, Zeno began walking around the lake. Minutes after Greg left, Zeno arrived on the other side of the lake, unaware that Greg had been standing there minutes before. He looked up and saw Commander Myra, which surprised him a bit. "Commander, ma'am. What a surprise to see you here." Zeno didn't bother to give a formal and militaristic greeting, but merely gave a relatively sloppy semi-salute.
"I wound like to speak with you about Mr. Hall and his, ah, proposal to aid the Snowtowners. I think he is correct in helping the Snowtowners, but he does not go far enough. We should bring Snowtown to our side, under our protection. After all, we, the Bluecoats, brought Snowtown into this war by our hasty and unwise actions.
"However, it would be a waste to see Snowtown destroyed again after being rebuilt. That is why I suggest, aside from a reconstruction brigade, we should also station a small military garrison in Snowtown in order to protect the Snowtowners from further Redcoat attacks, as well as help Snowtown develop its own defensive capabilities.
"The area near Snowtown is rich with natural resources. That is why we must secure it as an ally. They have wood from their forests, oil from their oil fields, and metals from nearby mines that we must get in order to survive."
