Fighting for redemption; | ;  Sypher "Syy" Senju Sypher frowned as Kawa shouted, Ima leaning back to give Syy a look She's really upset... Yoo's voice was small in Syy's head and he didn't sound nearly as thrilled as he had earlier. Syy didn't respond, simply waited as Kawa left, feeling...annoyed and a little insulted by her reaction. It wasn't that simple...It had taken Syy and Yoo months to come to an agreement and they were at least slightly on the same page. It seemed like Matsumoto-san and his other were not even close to agreeing "Inka....with your permission, I can try to help Matsumoto-san." he offered, knowing it was up to Inka to decide. Inka was Matsumoto's teacher. Training the boy without his teacher's permission was not something Syy intended to do. Especially since that teacher was Inka. His voice didn't betray the insult he felt from Kawa's abrupt and loud departure "It won't be a perfect solution...but it will prevent your students from trying to kill each other." he joked but it was obvious it wasn't really a joke. Fighting for redemption; | ; Sypher "Syy" Senju Ima's ears flicked every which way as the boy left now too and Syy closed his eyes So much for help. Syy....why is everyone so grumpy? I don't know! They just are! Bunch of retards...pffft! Don't laugh, Yoo! Stupid... opening his eyes again, Syy looked at Inka with a bit of sympathy "You have...some serious students." he managed to say without sounding like he wanted to rip the two genin's heads off. Which....he did. If they had been his students, he'd have slammed both of them to the ground and sat on them till they talked. But they were Inka's so "I guess my offers off the table..." he ruffled Ima's ears and leaned against the wall. He was dressed in his painting clothes so he wore long shorts, paint splattered, and a tank. His upper arm was covered in a swirling tattoo that ran all along his bicep and shoulder, disappearing momentarily under his arm and shirt and reappearing on his back. It crossed halfway along his shoulders and neck but also dipped down, following his spine, to vanish fully under his shirt. It seemed to be composed of many different colors, swirls forming cloud and trees and birds along his bicep and shoulder. Along his back, a tribal dragon's jaws either coming out of or being consumed by a tiger's head was all that could be seen of the full back tattoo "So...uhm...." Ima gave Syy a long look and stood, moving to shove his large white head into Inka's chest, planting his chin on Inka's collar bone. Syy smiled at Ima's antics, a little relieved that he hadn't needed to say anything that might have ended awkwardly. He knew he needed to probably head for the gates...be ready...but he didn't feel like leaving Inka here alone. Kawa and Matsumoto-san had both run off without a nice word said between them "Any idea how you plan to handle those two?" Syy asked, trying to think of something to say. ↳ Jounin ↳ Ninjutsu↳ Sensor

Inka closed his eyes, standing still and silent as his students raged around him. He heard Chokichi's words, Syy's offer of help, and Kawa's frustration. He heard their anger, and he remained silent, not knowing what to do, how to handle such strong-willed individuals. When they were gone, Inka was left standing with Syy, red eyes opening only when he felt a weight push down on his chest. "... You're Ima, huh. Nice to meet you." Inka greeted the tiger, lifting a hand to rub at one of large cat's ears. The chuunin turned his head and sighed, not waning to breathe into the cat's face, less it seem rude. He kept rubbing at one ear. "I... don't know. I think I need to talk to Mi. She calms me down. I don't want to seem useless in her eyes, but I can't risk another student." He paused. "I still need to give her my report on Reiojika." Red eyes turned, catching the tattoo Syy wore. He'd noticed it earlier, but the antics of his students prevented him from studying the tattoo properly.

Fighting for redemption; | ; Sypher "Syy" Senju Ima started up a rumble in his throat, rolling his head under Inka's touch, happy to finally be getting the attention he deserved. Sypher smiled at the sight and was...rather pleased that Inka wasn't as freaked out as Kawa had been. He looked up at Inka and rubbed the back of his neck, pondering how he could help "I'm sorry about that other student of yours..." he said quietly, looking down at his feet as he crossed them at the ankles. Thinking "Mi-san is a good person...I doubt she'll see you as useless just because you have some very...difficult students." he uncrossed his ankles and walked over to Inka's side of the hall and knelt by Ima, rubbing his tiger's deep chest. He paused and stood, now standing next to Inka at a slight angle "If I could give some advice...Just a small bit." he asked, ruffling Ima's other ear and leaning over to kiss the tip gently. Ima was in heaven! Attention from BOTH his master and the skinny boy?! He kept rumbling his purr out like a happy kitten several times over-sized. He pushed his forehead into Inka's chest, rubbing and rubbing and getting white fur all over his shirt That's gonna be hard to get out. Inka couldn't help the chuckle that escaped his throat, a sad smile coming over his lips as the great cat pushed against him. It was only through quick footing that Inka prevented himself from falling over. Inka gazed down at the tiger. "Yeah. Yeah, I'd take any advice I can get." The chuunin breathed, smile fading.

Fighting for redemption; | ; Sypher "Syy" Senju Syy put an arm out, grabbing Inka's shoulder, seeing Inka adjust his footing. He loosed his grip but kept his hand on Inka's shoulder for a moment "Don't let them run you over." he said firmly as Ima backed off just a little to headbutt Inka's stomach gently "Yes. They're your students and you can't throttle them because they're being stubborn. But..." he reached out and tossed Inka's hair, grinning as the strands went every which way "They can't just not work together. They're a team. Whether they want it or not, they're stuck with each other and YOU until they earn their stripes. Kawa can't be bratty to everyone around her just because someone jutsu'd her. She's going to get attacked again. Whether its by Matsumoto-san or someone who really wants to kill her. And Matsumoto-san can't just work alone all the time. He can't control his other side. That's a fact he needs to face. And he also needs to face the fact that he CAN'T handle it alone. He needs help." Sypher dropped his hands into his pockets, tilting his head at Inka with a smaller smile "You need to show them that they need each other. Matsumoto-san needs Kawa to help him learn to control that other half and to be his support when he loses it. Kawa needs Matsumoto-san because he IS more powerful then her and can protect her. YOU, Inka, need them because they're your students and they need you because you're their teacher. Don't let them walk all over you just because their stubborn mule headed dipsy fairies." he didn't use foul language, remembering his first interaction with Inka. Inka needed to stop worrying about how his students saw him and just...be himself "Inka....you're a good teacher and a good person. You went out of your way to search for that student. You defended Kawa and didn't kill Matsumoto-san when he attacked you. How much better can you get?" he shrugged his shoulders as he took one hand out of his pocket to poke Inka in the side "Stop doubting yourself. Maybe you don't need to talk to Mi or even take my advice...Maybe you just need to say 'enough!' and go sit on your students until they get along." he flushed, realizing he'd probably said too much or crossed a line and looked down at his feet "Ah...that was a bit more then a little piece of advice. Red eyes glanced down at the hand on his shoulder, tracing the digits before falling back down to the tiger pressed against his chest. It had shocked Inka at first, seeing a white Bengal sitting in the apartment building's hallway, but the distractions of Kawa and the big cat's subsequent behaviour had calmed the chuunin down, especially after finding it was Syy's tiger. Inka listened to Syy's words with a blank expression on his face, taking in everything the older male said.He chuckled, though, when Sypher suggested sitting on the kids. "I was thinking just that, actually. Thank you. Now," Inka lifted a free hand and slapped himself hard in the face. The sound was resounding and sharp, obviously painful, and almost with enough force to bruise. "Gah," Inka stretched his jaw, looking back up to Sypher with his usual stern and almost cocky expression. "Geeze, dude. I don't know what it is, but you've seen way too much of me." He spoke, meaning his actual emotions. "Don't tell that self-assuming, not-really-a-know-it-all-at-all, t**t that you've seen me down. I've got a reputation." Inka moved, as though he was going to leave but paused. He was looking down the hallway, back to Ima and Sypher. "About that kiss at the gate," Inka started, looking over his shoulder, red eyes as dull as they usual showed when he put on his strong act.

Fighting for redemption; | ; Sypher "Syy" Senju Sypher jumped as Inka slapped himself, blinking for a moment before he burst into laughter. His laugh was deeper then his voice, sounding like it came from down in a hole and bounced out of his throat. He stifled his laughter as Inka continued speaking, his chuckles dying down as Inka indicated that he'd seen too much of him "Ah...well, I can't apologize for that...I'm not doing anything on purpose, you know." he pointed out, still smiling just a little. He dipped his head as Inka left, feeling a little sad that he'd left but...He jerked his head up quickly, his cheeks going light pink, as he swallowed just a bit "Urhm....yeah, I meant to ask if your mouth was ok." he walked up to Inka and Ima settled to sit, looking the other way. Syy came to a pause, reaching out and touching Inka's chin, turning his head to look at Inka's mouth "It doesn't look like you bruised..." he mumbled, his index finger tapping Inka's bottom lip "But....that wasn't a kiss, you know. Kisses don't hurt." he joked, still touching Inka's bottom lip, his eyes on Inka's mouth for a moment. He flicked his eyes up to Inka's, noticing the lack of shine, the shine that indicated Inka was being honest and open instead of pretending. Sypher wondered...then decided not to care about wondering. Inka would either hit him for doing this or not do anything at all and Sypher just wanted to do this before he left. He leaned in just a bit, his hand going from Inka's chin to rest on his shoulder and collar bone, and pressed his lips to Inka's mouth, kissing him. It wasn't overpowering or impertinent. It was just a lingering, soft kiss then Sypher backed out of hitting range "That's a kiss. Didn't hurt did it?" he said, his voice and expression sincere as he stood against the wall opposite Inka's position. ↳ Jounin ↳ Ninjutsu↳ Sensor

Inka watched, unmoving as Syy came up to him, a hand reaching up and taking hold of the younger male's chin. Red eyes barely blinked, the dullness slowly being overcome by a dark emotion, deepening the moment Syy's finger began touching his lips. Eyes drifted close to closing as the older leaned in close, Inka becoming hyper-aware of every action and sense of touch. The feel of Sypher's hand sliding down his neck sent a shiver down the spine. His breathing stuttered to a halt as lips touched gently, eyes closed until the end. They flickered back open to observe Sypher back away from him. "A little, actually." He spoke, the dull sheen completely gone once again. "They're still tender." Inka breathed in, feeling like it was the first time he'd ever taken a breath. A determination came over him, eyes narrowing as he stepped forward, a hand reaching out. "You were heading for a mission, weren't you. At the gates. And then there was talk about Yokai going along. There's a chance you're not coming back. There always is." Inka's face softened as the hand traced the tips of its fingers along Syper's neck. "Damn, you broke through again."

Fighting for redemption; | ; Sypher "Syy" Senju Unsure of how Inka would take this, Sypher was relieved that Inka had decided not to slap him for it. Or worse, punch him in the face. He hadn't backed away either...and as Inka met his eyes, Syy took a breath "Sorry. I hope they don't bruise." he replied, as still as Inka had been moments before as the other male approached him now. Mention of the mission renewed the feeling of needing to go in Sypher but as he listened to Inka speak, he was less inclined to leave "I don't see that it-" he stopped talking as Inka's hand came up, his eyes instantly latching onto that single movement. The instinct to defend, to react, made the muscles throughout Syy's body tense for just a moment until Inka's fingers touched his neck. The muscles were tight under Inka's trailing fingers as Sypher let out a breath he'd been holding "I am. Mi-kage has assigned me to track something down and lead a team to wherever said something is. I don't know anything more then that...I'll have to ask whoever the leader is for more information once I get to the gates." he reached up and took Inka's hand in his, holding it tightly for a moment. The thought of not coming back...was unsettling but "I've never not completed a mission. I've never not come back. I get hurt, I get beat up, I get broken but I always come back." he shrugged and pulled Inka's hand down to hold it in his own and down at his side "Yokai is coming with me so I will have my full chakra to devote to coming back. And Ima is coming as well. He never lets me get hurt." the big tiger flicked an ear back at the mention of his name but was staring intently down the hall instead. A hint that it was time to go. A hint Sypher got and was trying to ignore for the moment "Break through...to seeing you? You said earlier that I was seeing too much of you. But is that a good thing?" he looked at Inka carefully, his eyes darker then before but still open with sincere emotion "Do you not want me to see you? I don't know what I'm doing that has you saying these things so I can't change it. I can...if its uncomfortable for you, I can stay away from you." Syy stepped up to Inka, away from the wall, and leaned his head just slightly in. His bangs slid down as he brought his forehead close to Inka's "I don't want to stay away. I can barely stand to not touch you when I'm near you. Its a weird feeling but I don't mind it. I know it means I care about you. A lot. I haven't felt like this in...in a long time." he chuckled, his eyes closing as he laughed. But as he stopped laughing, the chuckles dwindling to nothing, he kept his eyes closed. Whether to keep from losing it or to keep Inka from seeing him losing it "Even though we only know a little about each other...I still like being near you. And caring about you. But if you mind...just tell me to go away. Tell me to leave you alone. If you don't...I'm going to keep breaking down the walls or whatever it is I'm breaking through inside you. I'm going to keep breaking them down till I can see all of you. It won't be fast...I'll only see what you want when you're ready to show me." he took a deep breath and leaned back, opening his eyes finally to look at Inka "And you can do the same. But...if you don't want that, then tell me now." he kept his grip on Inka's hand even as Ima stood, turning to walk over to them, anxiously twitching his tail back and forth. Sypher didn't look at his tiger, knowing he had to leave but...he wanted an answer from Inka. It was important to him to know because it was Inka. Anyone else, he wouldn't care as much. But as Ima insisted, pressing up against him, Syher made a noise and his free hand flickered. A clone appeared and took off, taking Ima with him as Syy waited patiently for Inka.

"People will always get hurt - just as we always die. Simple fact." Inka stated, gazing up at Sypher with a straight face. Listening to Syy, Inka couldn't help the small smile that worked its way into one corner of his lips. Inka nodded. "I know when to give up, and when I've been hiding for too long. Find me when you come back." Red eyes looked down now, embarrassed as the next words came from his mouth. "Hopefully my lips wouldn't still be sore by that time."

Fighting for redemption; | ; Sypher "Syy" Senju Sypher grinned at Inka, extremely pleased to know that Inka didn't want to push him away. He squeezed Inka's hand "I'll try not to die." he agreed, still happy. He felt kind of like a dork, being so happy just because Inka wanted him to come back and see him. That Inka was willing to open up and show that wonderful smile and those shy blushes "I hope they do as well. But..." he leaned his head in, brushing Inka's hair out of the way with his free hand, and his lips brushed Inka's ear as he whispered "But I intend to make them very sore when I come back!" Syy gave Inka's ear a quick kiss, right along the outer ridge, and then moved back, letting go of Inka's hand. He smiled one last time at Inka as he went down the steps and then he was moving faster, intent on getting to his mission. First though....he had to change. Darting across to his own apartment building, he took the stairs several at a time and quickly slipped into his apartment. Dodging cats, Syy climbed the steps and quickly changed Are you excited?! I'm excited, Syy! I want to do this mission! Its gonna be awesome, I'm so exci-Yoo! Enough, man. I'm trying to change. after some mild confrontation with Yoo and a deep argument about WHY Syy was so determined to not come back hurt, he'd changed and was back out the door. He stopped to steady himself, breathing in deeply before he started out again.

Inka blushed, eyes closing when Sypher brushed brown hair out of the way and leaned in. The blush grew and Inka's body went tense at the touch of lips to a sensitive ear, warm words sending the chuunin's heart racing, and then a small kiss to almost cause the organ to stutter to a stop. Inka could only watch Sypher walk away, waiting until the Jounin was out of sight before he could breathe again. Inka leaned against the nearest wall, arms braced against it, cradling his head. Inka thought to himself that it would take more than the usual slap to set his head straight after that encounter...
It took a few minutes for Ink'a face to calm down to close to its regular temperature. He breathed in deep and pushed off from the wall, heading down to the Mizukage's tower. He needed to give his report before chasing after Kawa and Chokichi.
