Meiko pranced her way to the Owlery. She approaches Serene and lets her nibble her finger as she retrieves the letter from her. Meiko smiles as she reads the letter through her eyes:
"Meiko,
The holidays are coming up, and I can't wait for your arrival... in you last letter, you told me that you have a crush on a Slytherin, can you tell me who that is? Oh, and I still can't believe that you actually like a guy!
Love, Mum
Meiko laughs lightly as she placed the letter in her pocket and gets her letter to her mum and placed it on Serene's leg. It contained:
Mum,
I also cannot wait to come home with you and dad... well, as for my crush, he's long gone. I actually found someone I really like. He's really sweet. He gave me flowers, mum. I cannot wait to tell you when I come home.
Your daughter in love, Meiko"
Meiko begins to leave after petting Serene's head and giving her bird seeds.

Blac enters the owlery with a letter in hand. 'Silmewen!' she calls, searching the owlery for a sign of the small silver owl when she hears her familiar chirp behind her. 'Oh, Silmewen! Please take this letter to Sophia,' Blac says as she places a neatly folded envelope with thin scrawl in Silmewen's beak. 'Hwesta!' Blac calls, thrusting her arm out the window and stepping out of the owlery.

Artie, my darling! Where are you!? *frowns as she recieves an angry hoot from the top of the owlery* Oh, come now Artemis. I didn't forget you. I've just been busy. *pulls a dead mouse from her pocket* See! Mommy comes bearing gifts! *smirks with satisfaction as her owl flutters down to a perch on the shelf next to her.* Well then, if that's all the further you'll come, I guess I'll just leave this here...jerk. *places the mouse at his feet and leaves the owlery*

Harmony looks around and finds her owl, Kiev.
"Here send this thermose to Daddy, but make sure you don't spill it."
The owl tilts it's head, gives a nod and flys away.

-Dominic still stands at the highest perch-
"Oh Dommeh, don't be that way. You know I have been busy"
-Nub pulled out a baggie of owl treats-
"Here, as I promised here are some extra treats for your hard work"
-Dominic quickly flies down and lands right in front of Nub-
"That's what I thought" Nub said smugly.
"Have I anything from Mum and Dad?No?
I see that they're busy as well with the holidays coming up.
Okay, well I have some catching up to do with classes.

Heading up to the owlry, the cold winter air nipping at my ears, careful to watch for slick spots on the stairs I made my way up to Porthos. ”Porthos could you come down here please, I have a job for you.” While Porthos made his way down to me, I pulled out a quill and wrote down a quick message.

Everything at Hogwarts is going good, I did quite well in the 1st task, the 2nd task is coming up shortly. Um I’m prolly going to be staying at Hogwarts this Christmas to spend more time with Aludra. Our relationship is going strong, I love her something fierce. She may even be the one, if that doesn’t sound cheesy. I’ll be sending Prothos to you again sometime closer to Christmas with my gifts to you, dad, and sis.

Reading over the message once more, I then rolled it up and attached it to Porthos’s leg. ”There’s no rush this time Porthos so take your time, I’ll have a nice big treat for you when you get back.”[ I said to him as I carried him over to a window and watched as he spread his wings and took flight, I watched until he disappeared, before heading back to the warmth of the castle.

Heading back up to the owlry, to check and see if Prothos was back, saw that I had picked the correct time to make a visit, Prothos had just come swooping into the owlry has I crowned the top step into the building proper. Watching him take a drink of water he dropped down onto my out-stretched arm and I pulled the note that was attached loose. Pulling some owl treats from inside my robes I feed him a few before he took off to the upper levels of the owlry for a nice long rest. I unrolled the note and read:

Rolling the note back up I slide it into my robes and left the owlry.

Sparrow walked up to the owlery thinking she hadn't written home in a while and her mother was probably worried about her. She went up to Carmen and tied a note to her leg and patted her on the head for a bit. The letter told her mother about the loss of the qudditch match and everything she has been doing after that. It also included a couple sketches she had done earlier in there year or copies of them anyway. Her siblings always loved to see her new sketches. After a while Sparrow headed out of the owlery thinking that it was getting dark.

"Kiev, come here, s'il te plaît." The boreal owl lands on her shoulder, gazing at her with amber eyes.
"See this package, send this to Maman."
Harmony places a package with the Gladrags Wizardwear logo into the owl now open talons. "Fly safely ma chouette."
Harmony leaves the Owerly to go to sleep.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra was bundled all in her school uniform when she entered the Owlery. She decided to skip off on her class to finish a very important letter to her family. Her owl, Voldy, seen her come in and imediently swooped down to greet her. As always, he expected treats. He nipped lovingly at her ears. "Oh, hold on you flirt. I've got them right here." Aludra reached into her bag and pulled out a letter and a handfull of owl treats. She set them down on the wall and reached for her quill. "Eat those while I finish this letter. When you get back I'll have a mouse for you.... yes one of the white ones you love so much." She smiled as Voldy gobbled down his food; she started on the last bit of her letter that read... Hey Daddy,
Hows everything your way? Ive been fine here at Hogwarts this year. I’m really sorry I havent written to you in a while, you must be furious with me. Anyway, remember Kenneth, that Gryffindor boy I’m dating? Well I think, no, I know I love that boy. I want to have him over for the Summer break, then I’ll be spending some time at his house. So if you could clear that up with Mother, I’ll owe you big time. As for Christmas break, I’m going to stay here. Hopefully Kenneth will do the same so we can have some alone time. And I hate to ask you so many things, but can you withdraw some money from my vault and send to me? Also, get me this video game called Assassin Creed Brotherhood, I want to give it to Kenneth for Christmas; and anything else you think he might like. Thanks dad. I’ll send your presents closer to Christmas time. I love you and cant wait for your reply.
-Aludra She read her letter over and smiled. Hopefully she didn’t forget to anything important. So Aludra rolled up the letter and tied it with a dark green ribbon. “Here we are Voldy, have a safe journey and come back with a nice bag of gold.” She tied the letter to his leg and watched him fly off into the distance. Figuring it was time for the next class to begin, she left the Owlery with a smile on her face. ...6th Year Slytherin

Harmony looks for Kiev her owl. A package drops above her, she gracefully catches it. "Looks, like I get to recieve something instead of sending."
A letter is attached to ropes of the package...
Dear Harmonie,
Est-ce que tu sais, comment tu as de la chance?! You're father is angered, but forgave you nonetheless (it helped that he had an antidote.)
Harmony frowned, after all the work in Potions class he had an antidote?!
But I am harder to charm young missy, when you get home your pulling out all the weeds, a don't you dare get Eliade to help you because she won't!
Harmony frowns and inwardly groans, they have four gardens, and each one was very large.
I know you're working hard and probaly pulling all-nighter despite my caveat. So I'm sending you a present with some goodies and school supplies in the hopes it'll relieve your stress and fatigue.
Harmony smiles, oh yes Maman was right.
On another note...(a more plesant one at that..) please do have some fun while your away in Hogwarts, join a club, duel (I know you love too...), don't be so abstemious on your sweets (after all you do have a fast metabolism), and above all make some friends (preferably girls, I don't want you to have a boyfriend yet!)
When you get home we'll have a cheescake waiting for you (and chores don't you forget that!) So do have some fun stories to tell us.

Aludra Yvette... She rushed into the owlry with her bag swung over her shoulder. Aludra scanned the place for her owl, Voldy, or else she couldnt go shopping with Chris. She knew she was already late to be meeting him.
In the corner of her eye she saw a swooping bird flying towards her with a large package in its claws, she also saw a little bag swinging from its talons. "There you are, my gorgeous." She took the package and the gold from him and stuck them tenderly into her bag before untieing the letter that was attached to his leg. Aludra unrolled the letter and read: My little Chameleon,
Everything over here is good besides the usual baking disasters. I tried to infuse cake and pie together creating three different flavors with a cream cheese frosting... I ended up blowing up half of the kitchen, go figure huh? But I did manage to make the final product before destroying the oven for a seventh time this month. I'll be sending a whole cake to you later near Christmas after I have my test monkeys sample it. Cant have my little changling sick now can I? I'm thrilled your doing well in school and even more ecstatic that you are your little 'Gryffindor friend' as you mother calls him are flourishing. And he likes video games! I hope Kenneth is up for a few all nighters when he stays over. As for the games, leave it to me my rainbow. I'll speak to a few sources and see what I can dig up. Maybe I can get a sample of an up and coming game... but SH! I bet your wondering whats in that box arent you? Inside said box is a few shopping magazines and some homemade goodies as usual. I'll be sending you more delights as it gets closer to the end of the month. I love you my little Chameleon, be safe and stay warm.

Callysto pulled a piece of parchment from her robes and fingered it nervously. "Take this to my Granmum, will you?" She let her fingers slide down the feathers of a large brown owl, one of the many at Hogwarts for the students who didn't have their own. "She lives in London, but she may be in Romania if she is visiting my father." Callysto pulled a bit of cake from one of her robe pockets and fed it to the bird, watching it ruffle its feathers in delight. It hopped to the window sill, taking off into the calm air. She stood watching at the window until she could no longer see the bird.

She then whips out a pen and a piece of paper and proceeds to write a quick reply*
