The base rumbled deeply for a moment, enough to warn the intruders of impending danger. Was the Shakuton lady back from her fight with Bast, hunting them down? Or was it the Black Knight activating a self-destruct mechanism? Perhaps even the I.B.D. was on the move... whatever the cause was, it wouldn't be a good idea to remain there for long.

Howaido smiled as he stood up,"Well thats good, Im about ready to head out, Ive got enough supplies and everything, can you come bust me out?" He jumped and stretched to relax his body and limber up after the short but tense fight, he had still been overworked from the Jinton user. When the base shook his landing was off and he restated,"yeah better break me out now, while Im still here man.... Something big is coming, we either get out or we get in quick, personally Im not sure if we are prepared to take another split fight like this one."

San walked up to the sealed room and removed a single kunai with Danzou's second seal on it. He looked at howaido and spoke through the bonds golem with great urgency.
"It will only disrupt it for a moment, so move quickly. Ready......go!"
San through the kunai into the barrier and watched the seal become active, weakening the barrier enough for Howaido to pass through.

Howaido made an odd face as he took off to dive through the barrier down the hall hoping San could follow, they needed to go deeper to find a way out with the room blocked off now. He slid to a halt and panted a moment as he regained his breath,"Couldnt have made it any easier eh?"

The base shook once more & the Skiski room collapsed, blotting out the available light source. Bathed in darkness, several animal sounds echoed up & down the empty hallways. The threat hadn't managed to get to the first floor yet, where the main room & the Suna-nin lay, but it wouldn't take much longer.

"Not good"
San spoke aloud as he then sprint down the last hallway to the entrance with Howaido on his heels. Once they made it to the entrance, San then hopped up the whole by kicking wall to wall to wall. It was the only way to really climb this thing, and they needed to escape....NOW!

Howaido made wider strides and faster up the wall grabbing San as the sounds got closer and closer. He smiled as he carried San up quick as lightning itself under his arm. When they reached the top he set him down and heaved slightly out of breath,"You aint a feather weight eh, couldnt risk leaving you down there being Im faster, eheh."

A little impressed by the oinin's speed, San motioned with his head to the other parts of the squad. They still wernt safe, and needed to move again. So san kept running away from the fortress....

With the moon high overhead, the air could be deemed as 'nice' compared to what lay under the sands. Radially outwards from the main hole, fissures cracked from the recent explosives, shearing off large sections of the desert into previously unknown sections of the underground base. It would seem as if the entire desert were sinking into vast underground caverns, never to be seen again. The next time that Sunagakure would visit here, the landscape itself would have to be remapped.

as he stumbled forwards he regained his balance but still felt odd. he turned and as he was picking up his piece of cloth howaido and san ran by and told the others including him to get out. so he quickly put some chakra into the cloth and flew off to the camp.

Something was wrong. Ash was no where to be seen, nor his familiar partner. Instead of being with the group that was running for their lives, Ash was floating in complete darkness. When he slowly opened his eyes, he should have been shocked, but he wasn't. Last thing he remembered was attacking Ms. Sleeps With Katanas. He looked around for a moment, then relaxed again. He had no idea where he was, but he felt like all of his energy had been drained from him, nor did he have the want to really do anything. San, Howaido, everyone must have been at least a little worried, but then again, all he was able to do this time around was annoy the other guys. Maybe they'd be glad to have a spot open for someone stronger to pick up the slack he wasn't able to.
Then she appeared. ( X ) Same long, purple hair, with the white ribbon and everything. She didn't say anything, merely loomed over him. He then smirked. "Right, got it." What the hell was he thinking!? He was Ashitaka Shishigami! He wasn't the kind of guy to sweat being a little weaker than the rest. He heard his name being called, then a bright light, through which a hand came through. He grabbed on to it and it pulled him towards the light.
"Ash! Ash! We gotta go! Now!" Ash slowly opened his eyes a second time. "H-huh? Ouka?" Then his eyes shot open wide as he grabbed Ouka and barrel rolled to the side to avoid the falling debris. He suddenly had his energy back, and while he and Ouka did notice he looked... different. There wasn't any time to sweat the details. As the two began to sprint off, Ouka went down to her knees. Sprained ankle. Ignoring all of her shouts and yells, Ash lifted her up cradle style and began to hall tail again, through all the madness and chaos that he missed out on.

This was very bad, things had changed and not for the better, the forest was giving off a magnetic field and his weapons for going every which way in their holsters and sheaths. He stopped in the entrance and figured he should try it now,"Chidori," as the electric chakra formed around his hand it arced then fizzled. He sighed as he gave up and nodded to himself,"So it makes all metal useless and nullifies Raiton Ninjutsu... not good." Come to think of it the place gave off a confusing aura, one could get lost easily in here,"I better watch my a**..."
