"Nice to meet you Amaya." Walter said with a smile. When she mentioned the people of Nirvani being weird he laughed lightly. "I would say that Ma'am. Starting with the Mayor and his bloodline. It seems this place attracts the odd. But, i cant say that i hate it. In fact ive come to enjoy the odd nature of everyone here. A day is never boring, you can at least count on that." Walter said honestly.

As Amaya heard him mention the mayor she couldn't help but remember her first meeting with him that had occurred a couple of years ago. the town's mayor was an interesting individual indeed. "Well I don't hate the place," Amaya began, "But I wouldn't say I enjoy it either. It's just a bit of an annoyance to me. I suppose some may find it amusing.." she trailed off.

"No?" Walter frowned lightly. That was sad that she didnt enjoy Nirvani. "I always look on the bright side of things. And i always go with the flow. It makes things easier, Ma'am. No matter how chaotic things can get." Walter said gently. "Though Ma'am. I must say, and take no offense... but.. if you dont like the isle so much.. why not leave? I have to say for myself that its better than some places ive lived.. and i consider myself well traveled." Walter said with a gentle smile. "You should try to make this place home, Ma'am. find something you like and stick with it. Have you gone to any of the festivals. They are fun if you participate and let yourself get into it." Walter said trying to cheer the girl up, give her something to look forward to.

"Well it's not really the island that annoys me, it's just some of the people here," she tried to explain to Walter. She knew leaving wouldn't do any good, there would be people she considered idiots anywhere else she decided togo, just probably not such a large amount in one place. "The festivals?" she repeated. She had gone to a few but she didn't really see the point in most of them, though there were a few that she enjoyed.

"Well of course there are alot of nitwits running around on the isle. But i just avoid them.. as much as possible, Ma'am. I keep myself busy and find those who are intelligent enough to assciate with. Besides..ive been working for the mayor for the past two years. Theres no other two blokes more of a nitwit than those two. Combined i dont think they have a half of a brain between them. " Walter said with a chuckle. "And yes the festivals, its a good time to meet people. You might find someone to just occupy your time with, someone who isnt a git." Walter said honestly.

A small, silent chuckle escaped from Amaya and a small small smile formed on her face, "Well I try to avoid them too," Amaya began. She then heard his statement about the mayor, "You wok for him?" she asked. She wasn't sure how anyone could stand working for that man, especially someone who actually seemed to have a good amount of sense.

Walter laughed and nodded. "Yes Ma'am i do. Ive had worse jobs though to be honest. If you've read the paper a few years ago, the cat is a bit out of the box with me. Ex- Gun for hire, Ma'am. But dont worry im happy working for the crazy Mayor and his inbred family." Walter said with a smile. "But its nothing i havent seen before. I was born in Britain, Royals are... crazy where ever you go." Walter added with a smirk.

Amaya was a bit taken aback when he admitted his previous job but she had to give him props for being so honest about it. Though she did read the paper every now and then she never really remembered everything, especially news printed a few years ago. she chuckled again at his next statement about the mayor and his family being inbred. "So they are all like that?" she asked him. "You'd think they'd be a bit more intelligent and sophisticated than that," she stated.

"Well sophistcated they are.. but theyre so bloody in love with themselves its.. amazing. If they could marry themselves they would be in heaven." Walter said with a chuckle and a roll of his eyes. "But yes, Gaston.. Reinbach.. and Lulu i believe her name is.. their all full of themselves, but stupid in the way of common sense like you and i have. Its quiet sad, and funny at the same time." Walter said with a smile. " But enough about them, Ma'am. Tell me about yourself. Other than not being to thrilled living here Ma'am. What do you like to do? Tell me a bit about yourself, if you dont mind my asking."

Amaya chuckled again at the comment about the mayors lack of common sense. She was about to make another comment but stopped herself as Walter changed the subject, "Well I enjoy the theatre," she began, "I used to act before I moved here, but I left so I could begin writing my own plays. I figured it would be easier to write if I moved away from the city but well, I'm not so sure now." she explained. ((Yay I finally replied! It was about time I did that....))

"Sounds like you just need a muse Ma'am. I say, getting out and talking to the locals might help. Trust me, i could tell you a few outrageous stories that would be wonderful for some kind of play." Walter chuckled. "Rampaging elephants? Twins, one that dresses in drag, the other that ******** everything he sees? Foreigners up the wazzo. Enigma's, Drag buddies, strippers, druggies, Alcoholics, assholes, kidnappings, Crazy officers, Arson, Vigilantes, Fairies, A goddess, electricity on the island without a generator or power plant in sight! A Panda winning a cooking contest.. at least i believe thats what happened the one year. Bloody Hell, Ma'am with what ive seen from the Mayor and his kin alone? You'd have more material on your hands than you could keep track of." Walter said with a laugh.

"That would make for a very interesting comedy,"Amaya thought aloud. "However, I'm not sure if I could stay around any of those people long enough to get inspired without being driven mad," she stated to Walter. "Where do you suppose I could find some of these individuals?" she asked Walter curiously. Perhaps she could just observe them for a bit, and perhaps she could get a few ideas from just that.

"Festivals Ma'am. I find its the easiest way to observe without getting personal or trapped in their house in some fashion." Walter said with a smile. He then reached into his vest and produced a card. He handed it to her. " I have to be going Ma'am. But.. give me a call if you're feeling sociable. My schedule is a bit tight, but i can always make room for a spot of tea or a chit chat." Walter said gently to her. " Ta-Ta, take care Ma'am." Walter added once she had taken his card. Walter then took his leave from the beach, after all he had to get back before Gaston or Reinbach noticed he was missing!

-Blaire Vatonage-
-NEW DAY-
Another day off for Blaire, though this time she decided to spend it by herself. Ellie was adamant on spending these days at home, so she didn't need a babysitter, and honestly Blaire didn't want to today. Some time alone was good for her, rather some time without children running around. She loved her job sure, but with her best friend always busy with, well life, she found herself a tad lonely. Her boss was bitter and her co-worker was blind and spaced out most of the time. It wasn't a good combination. Blaire laughed slightly at that thought as she walked around the beach. She had a t-shirt and shorts over her swimsuit, holding her flip-flops in hand. It wasn't too crowded, but she didn't feel like going into the water just yet. Besides, it still didn't feel right with that ugly thing...

Ah... Brilliant sun. A nice breeze. Glistening waves crashing onto the coarse golden sand..... All these beautiful images entranced Reed as he stood on the sands of the shore. But... Wasn't this the scene for some high schooler to be excited about? Why was he even here? Wasn't he way to old (only 20) to be at the beach? And where we're the girls in swimsuits? This place was practically empty! How aggravating. Reed was definitely aggravated. To think he was forced out of the house just to come to this deserted place. Alt was way to pushy this morning. Telling him how a boy his age should be out enjoying summer, not taking care of a kid... But, Reed was that kid's father, how was he supposed to just ditch her to come to the beach? And why the beach in the first place? It was so frustrating. The man went to reach for his smokes, but changed his mind. There wasn't an ashtray around, and Reed wasn't just going to through the butt out anywhere. Though not being able to smoke just made him more annoyed. The man began to wander around the shore, not sure what he was supposed to be doing. Somehow he felt awkward being on the beach. He really did feel like an old man. Maybe that's what becoming a father did? How troublesome... Reed was pretty confident in his body. Yet he was still strolling the beach with a t-shirt and hoodie on. He didn't even feel like going in the water. And wasn't that the whole point in coming? He really had no point in being there. But more than that, the man felt like he forgot how to handle being alone. It had only been an hour... And yet, Reed was completely lost without his daughter. He sighed as his eyes kept close because of the sun's rays. Walking around without looking was probably dangerous. However, it's not like anyon- Nope, there was someone around. And for Reed to have bumped into them... How cliche... Hopefully he didn't knock the person down. "Sorry" He spoke as his eyes reopened, adjusting to the light. Oh... It was a girl. Not bad.
