her hands had leaned against his chest when she kissed him and when he pinched her the nails came out between her knuckles and barely missed his neck,her eyes were wide"thats wasnt smart" she murmured as her nails slowly went back between her knuckles. all of a sudden she looked down,her eyes sad"chaos...." she said quietly,knowing he'd understand.

Dark let out a silent sigh as she kept back the tears, she only got out for a few weeks every century or so, how could she compete for him when shadow was around him every minute of every day."choose her" she murmured quietly as she set her jaw, dark was used to making sacrifices, she didnt want to see him in pain when she was gone,that and she couldnt allow chaos to be in pain, she'd willingly add another few scars to her heart if it meant keeping him happy, she knew chaos wasnt string enough to bare it,even if she made it look like she could.

-he shakes his head no and smiles to her- "couldnt we tell shadow about you?" -he asked wondering he loved them both he couldnt help it- "Dark. i couldnt never choose and i will live as long as you both love me back. im sorry im so sorry. you know.." -he says smileing at ehr kindly and this time he is slient for a few minutes and he looks old for a few seconds like he has seen life seen it like no one else- "love will allways shine through the darkness no matter what" -he said smileing- "and i will allways love you no matter what you say or do to me"

Dark shook her head sadly"if sha..i mean chaos..found out about me theres a few things that could happen, i would either disapear,she wouuld dissapear or we could morph but it would mean a whole new person" she said with a sigh before she pulled away from the hug"i cant allow your heart to be split,i know how much it hurts... . darkness is a funny thing,no matter how fast the light darkness is always there,waiting for it." she said with a halfhearted smile. she meant that he wouldnt be able to stop fate,that nothing could stop the bad things in life. she let out a sigh and turned to step away from him,her heart heavy.

Dark winced,she knew he was right but over the past millenia she had learned to control part of her heart and emotions,she'd learned how to adapt."zack...you cant" she said,gritting her teeth,she knew she'd have to push him away...yet she didnt want to... .

Dark sighed and sat on the ground where she stood and picked up a nearby black rose,swirling it in her hand"you make it so hard to be rational, mon amour" she said with a half smile,her eyes on the black rose.
