By the time Yasashii's wagon caught up to the man, the fight was over. His clone found him sitting on the side of the road, clothing almost destroyed and looking like he'd fought the Kyuubi itself. Which actually wasn't completely out of the question, this close to Konoha. "How's the other guy look?" the clone quipped, pulling the wagon to a stop beside him. Yasashii looked up from what he'd been doing, carving up a stick he'd picked up at some point along the line, and gave the clone a quiet smirk. A look the clone rightly took as a sign of defeat, so strange upon it's master's face. "He got away." Yasashii sighed in response, pushing himself to his feet and moving to walk towards the cart. He'd taken only a single step when he staggered, almost falling over before the clone reached down and caught him by the arm. "And did a number on you while he was at it too!" the clone half joked, pulling Yasashii up and into the wagon, depositing him in the back, which was suspiciously empty of passengers, now that Yasashii took notice of it.
"Where's Kye?" he asked. It was fine to call her by her real name, he knew well enough that nobody was within a mile of them at the moment. At that the clone sighed, slumping forward it it's seat. So it was bad, whatever had happened. After a few moments the clone lifted it's left hand, holding up a tattered red cloth for Yasashii to see. The man's eyes widened in shock. The red cloth was a signal from the village, a signal that something had happened, an attack of such magnitude that even he and Kye together would not have been able to stop it. It came with a secondary message as well, flee. Flee and don't come back, not until you know what has happened, and how to fight back. After receiving a red cloth message, the shinobi were to scatter, separating and finding their own ways in life. They would meet again when it was time to revive the village once more.
Pushing his emotions down, Yasashii nodded, slumping back against the cargo in the wagon. So Kye had gone off alone. She would be fine though, she was a survivor above all he had ever known. Himself? He would have to find his own path now. But for the moment, he would continue on his set course. "Continue to Sunagakure." he ordered, the clone nodding in reply before calling out to the horse. After a moment, the cart lurched forward, rolling once more towards Sunagakure. And Yasashii, he fell asleep. It had been a hard morning.

ZduraRogue | Crystal | JouninSupport { Sealing } Combo~ A streak of pure lightning shot out from the open desert and across miles of the Fire country forests in a matter of moments, before finally slowing, and melding into the shape of a man. The man looked around him, emotion hidden by his face mask as he surveyed the area, searching for which direction he needed to go. Spotting a familiar place, he smirked as he realized he had just retraced the journey of two days, in about two hours. He knew the road he needed to take wasn't anywhere he had already seen, so he hadn't gone past it yet. That was good. But, he didn't know exactly where it was, so he wouldn't be able to enhance his speed anymore, or he'd risk missing it. So it was that he started simply running along the road, moving briskly, faster than any civilian ever could, but his quick eyes darting along the roadside searching for his destination. And finally he found it. A simple sign pointing off the side of the road, down a well used side road. Turning off the road, he picked up his pace a bit more, heading down the new path, that if he knew his geography correctly, would lead him right where he wanted to go. "Silence is key to a perfectly timed attack..." XXXGage was walking on one of the most famous roads in all of his land. Occasionally he passed other people and gave them a nod of acknowledgment. He had long left his headband behind, making sure to cover his tracks; hoping that he would not have to be taken back to his village. From here he would head to the 'Great Bridge', then to the Mist village. He had everything planned out... Now it was time for execution of that plan.  Duo Ushio ||A-Rank||God of Death||Sealing Master||Hyoton|| xxxxxx"Well look at what we have here, an entire caravan of goods just right for the pickings. Lets give this water a test run shall we?" Duo exclaimed as he popped open the cork of the bottle and drank the water to its last drop. "That was crap...it tasted the same," Duo sighed as he placed his hands on his hips after tossing the flask back. Suddenly, Duo's eyes widened as the temperature suddenly decreased significantly. His hair stood on end as his chakra suddenly became visible. His muscles expanded slightly from the surge of chakra coursing through his veins. "Now that's more like it!" Duo exclaimed as he looked down at the traveling caravan. "It would seem that I am about to get very powerful very fast! And with that power the God of Death will blanket this world in despair!" Duo grinned as he flashed through the seals required for his following technique.
"Dual Tsunami Tama...NO JUTSU!" Duo cried out as he suddenly brought back his arms, an explosion of water enveloping his palms as two swirling balls of pure water elemental chakra swirled violently around them. "Heh...and they said it couldn't be done. With this power I will be able to take my jutsu to the next level," Duo cried out as he suddenly took a single step forward, dashing towards the caravan at top speeds. Bringing his left arm back, Duo swung his arm upwards, releasing his left Tsunami Tama with incredible force as the ball seemed to pierce through the wind. Upon hitting the unsuspecting caravan, the ball exploded, sending all people flying backwards and destroying two of the wagons, ripping them apart as if they were nothing. Over all the screaming and destruction, Duo's maniacal laughter could be heard. The guards took their defensive stances as Duo approached at them, only to be surprised when Duo disappeared from sight.
"Hello kiddies!!!" Duo's cry echoed from above. The guards looked up as Duo was coming down at them from above. Bringing his Tsunami Tama between the palms of his hands, Duo extended both his arms forward, launching the ball directly at the guards. The guards didn't have a chance to react, the ball exploded between them as the torrential waters ripped through their flesh upon contact. Duo flipped forward as he landed hard on his feet, his hair still standing on end as the people continued running around him. He was no longer interested in the contents that the caravan was delivering, he just wanted to test out his new acquired strength. "Oh no...the cowardly rats need to be exterminated, so I guess you can call me pest control," laughed Duo as he extended his arms, freezing the moisture in the air as dozens and dozens of senbons began to surround him in a dome. None of them would get far. A glint of joy shone in Duo's eyes as he continued laughing maniacally. This was no longer about stealing, this would be a massacre.

Was this the beginning of an alliance between Konoha and Kiri, or just himself and Zin Naga personally? And if the latter was true, would Yamatano just become another one of Zin's lackeys, like that man from the gate?
He shook the thoughts out of his head. That problem was something he would have to deal with on his own time. For now, he had to double time it to Sunagakure if he were going to complete his assignment in time. Having never been to Sunagakure, Yamatano wondered what he would find there. He hoped that no one he knew from the chuunin exams had risen to an enormous seat of power in that village, too. During his last encounter with Sunagakure shinobi, he hadn't exactly gotten along with them, and if they had grown in power as exponentially as Zin had...........Yamatano would be lucky to leave with all his limbs still attached.

That silence which Kaze knew all too well. "Right, I forgot even trying to talk to you was absolutely useless, unless you want something. You're such a jerk, y'know? You respond when someone talks to you. Duh. Even if it's a rude response, it's a response." The response was cold and dead as expected. The Four Tail Bijuu would not respond to this boy at this point, and most likely not within the next coming months. And it's been like this for a while now. The Yonbi not communicating with Kaze at all. And drawing on the Yonbi's chakra was also an impossible task as well. Not like it was easy before, but now it's... not impossible, but certainly much much more difficult than it once was, but in Iwagakure. It's home of Iwagakure, too -- Mt. Fujiyama. That was certainly the easiest place to have the Yonbi communicate, even to a degree of even scoffing at him. But ever since Iwagakure's destruction, there has been no communication what-so-ever.
With Kaze's hopeless attempts aside, there was something... Well, there was just something. Just one of those feelings, y'know? Kaze wasn't quite sure where he was headed before, so he headed toward that.. just that feeling. The feeling of fear never registered with Kaze. The thing which gave off this weird feeling was getting farther. 'What the hell? So it's a thing that's moving.'
It probably isn't what Kaze's thinking it is, so at this point there would be no point in charging right into it. Although, that presence was heading into Konoha, but Kaze had already visited Konoha. No need to visit again.
