They soon came to another of the doors; it was padlocked as the first had been, but Emma's Wonderful World of Hormone Shifts did not allow Eli the time to pick it properly.
Violet sparks flew from the metal as it melted clean off under Emma's stern glare. A puddle of molten iron grew at the enchantress' feet, and she lifted her trouser leg almost daintily to avoid the mess.
Hrothbert reached forward to open the newly available door.

Hrothbert, when he opened the door, would be greeted by a mass of bones. The pile filled most of the fairly large room, and it appeared that some effort had been made to bury the mass. A deafening smell seemed to hang in the room, like a poisonous fog - it was the smell of rot - hundreds, even thousands of years of it. It made one's eyes water.

"Somebody ought to hire a housekeeper. Really, I can understand organized chaos, but one must keep up appearances." Emma gagged, her stomach having been already made fragile from nine months of madness. She moved to shut the door, looking back at the rest of the group with a shrug.

((Damnit. Whenever this place moves, it always moves to quickly.)) Remus released his hold on Gaila eventually. Somewhere between Gaila's headlock and the bone room, Remus noticed that his Empress was the only one not clothed. He offered his blue coat to her. "You don't really need pants, but you could at least cover your upper body. It'll be like the old days." Remus said, with a bit of nostalgia. Upon seeing the bone room, Remus wrinkled his synthetic nose. His senses picked up on all sorts gasses and bacteria that had been trapped in there for so long. "Why do you organic types have to reek so bad when you die? It would be so much more pleasant if you just rusted or fell apart." he asked. Again, nobody in particular.
Romulus took his brother's side for once. "Indeed. Certainly we are a superior race in that regard, aren't we dear Remus?"
"Of course we are, Romulus! We are superior in every aspect over organics. That's just the way things are. Though there are some exceptions." Remus winked at the rest of the party, excluding Haew.

"... Alright then," Kaok said, and took the coat from her husband. It was a little big around the shoulders, and less big around the stomach area, but she tried to ignore that for now.
Kaok covered her mouth to prevent anything coming out when the smells hit her nose. Which was a shame, because she had thought of a really clever retort to Remus' statement, and couldn't say it.

Of them all, Frida looked relatively unperturbed by the smell. She grimaced when she saw the pile, not all of it human - there were the bones of a myriad of sentient species there. Suzy shut the door again, holding her sleeve to her face to block out the smell. One last waft forced its way out the door, and then all that was left was what lingered in the nostrils. "I, for one, don't want anything that's in there."

"Shall we move on then?" Romulus asked.
"That would be preferred. I doubt we'll find much of a way out digging through bones."

The nobles gave their assent, posing the question of which door they ought to try next.
Emma took at least a minute to recover from the smell, taking deep breaths in a desperate attempt to rid her lungs of it.

Haew hadn't minded the smell, and was a bit sad that he couldn't search the bones. He especially had a thing for knucklebones, but he simply turned to a different door, raised a leg, and kicked it open.

It would be a real shame if there was a trap door buried under them, Kaok mused, but didn't say anything. She really didn't want to go into that room unless they had to. And if they couldn't find any other way out... they could probably go back later.
"I think our new friend just chose our next door for us."

Had Haew kicked the double doors, it would have been his toes that gave and not the doors. They were tall and foreboding, and could withstand more than a little physical torment. There wre two other doors, of course, in that stretch; one was the bone door, which he had not kicked in. The other was the room that the others - excluding Gaila - had found themselves in. Back to the start. Rak shot up, his eyes red from tears, snot dribbling down his mouth. He screeched when te door was flung open, splintering against the cold stone walls. "What do no stop stop door need evil evil person go!" He looked ready to fling himself at Haew, despite his diminutive stature.

[ Alright, guys. I'm a terrible person, et cetera et cetera, but I will have zilch internet for the next week. Maybe a little time will be available tomorrow morning, but it won't be much, if any. If I'm really, really lucky, there'll be some iternet somewhere in town, though that's highly doubtful. So. Yeah. Deal with it, ya pansies.
Oh - and if I don't get on tomorrow - YO COPPER. I HEAR YOU'RE GETTING OLDER, YOU GEEZER. That means your parents conceived you in November. @w@ ]

((LIVE DAMMIT!))
The nobles waited in silence, hoping and praying that Haew would get some sort of serious injury from the aged creature.
It would so brighten Emma's day; a smile crept over the enchantress' features just thinking about the waste of space having his face ripped off by an infuriated Rak.
Truly warmed her heart, it did.

"What, something wrong with this door? Can't you speak clearly midget, even Gemi is clearer when he's bein' all oracle" Haew replied to Rak. Haew pulled the cloak away from around Kingforge, wrapping the cloak around his midsection before looking back at Rak. "Please, don't try to fling yourself at me, I really don't want to get Kingforge worked up right now."

((-Necromancy spell-)) "As magnificent as that sounds, it's not hurrying our current situation along." Romulus said to Haew, sounding a bit bored. Unbeknown to everyone else, Rom had something important to do, so time was of the essence. "Of course, I'm probably not the only one with a place to be at the moment. The Bainbridge elf looks ready to pop."
