Amestru sees this and sighs. Giving the dragonling a gentle one armed hug, he tells him to go upstairs to his Mommy then fades from view, leaving Kero standing alone on the sand.

"I'm not angry, Kero..." comes a soft sending, but that did hurt, a lot, and I really don't feel like playing right now. I'm going to put some medicine on the bite and join you. Wake Kya before you go upstairs, so she doesn't wake up alone and afraid."

Lyssan looks up from her work. "Great just in time... I just got a messenger bird saying the food is on it's way. But where is your Daddy? Wasn't he with you?" she asks showing them about the treehouse and the toys therein.

As he confesses his behavior, Lyssan looks up as if sensing something then smiles warmly.

"Who said I couldn't eat with you or have fun... I just don't want to roughhouse right now, Kerobian." comes a familiar voice from behind him.

Jumping in alarm, Kero spins about, sees AMestru, then runs straight at him, wrapping his forearms about his legs and crying a blue streak. "I so sowwy... so so so sowwy."

Kya chortles sadly and tries to cheer him up as Amestru lifts him into the crook of his good arm. The other one has been bandaged and is now resting in a sling, though it is obvious he doesn't need to leave it there and it is only to make him comfortable.

"Hey, little one, things like that hapopen. And now that it has, it won't happen again, right? You didn't know, but you need to remember that Mommy and Daddy don't have dragon hide... we are rather thin skinned... got that?"

Amestru nods solemnly, then takes Kero's small paw and examines it closely. "And I will remember not to reopen blisters that are healing. No wonder you bit me. Lyssie. He's got a goot one here. Better go get the ointment. Better him a little groggy, than walking around on that open sore. I suspect all that swimming may have softened his skin a bit."

Lyssan nods and pops out without a word, leaving the three of them alone in the treehouse, waiting for the food.

"So, did your Mommy tell you who built this house?" Amestru asks plopping down in one of the overstuffed cushions and tucking Kero in on one side of him and perching Kya on his knee.

Amestru gives him an absent hug as he looks up at the rafters. "I did... with the help of one very relunctant cub... When your Mommy and I first thought of settling down and created the realm between us, we had Talesian with us. He's your big brother by the way. Loves to sing, kind of tall... all legs and arms he is... He has long long red hair, even longer than your Mommy's and eyes just like hers, all green and glowy like. So if you see him walking about, say hi to him. He loves kids. He's gone right now, tends to pop in and out without warning, so I don't know if you will get to meet him or not.

"Anyway, we needed a place to live in. There was just the three of us to begin with. So somehow, and I'm still not too sure why it was so important to be off the ground, Your Mommy got this bright idea that it would be neat to live in a tree."

"Wolves by nature do not climb trees, we live in caves and burrows... in the ground." replies Amestru with a grin. "Foxes, too, for that matter, but yer Mommy said she didn't want to dig a burrow in the island for fear of snakes. She's rather sensitive about those things, even if her brother is a bit on the scaly side himself.?

"Yep..." laughs Amestru with a nod. "They are twins. Do you know what twins are?"
