His minor hunch turned into some what of a break through, now, instead of sending bugs in every direction randomly, he now had at least a general point of attack. He knew which direction he needed to head in order to reach the ending, the only trick now was to find out which turns to take to ensure that he actually got to where he was going. This was not like tracking in the field, where he could find out his navigational direction of north, south, east, or west, in this case, knowing that he had to travel east was not going to be enough, he also needed to know "how" to travel east. With these twist and turns it was very easy for him to get lost and much harder for him to continue going in one direction. Sora slowed down his walk as he reached another milestone in order to communicate with his scouts before heading in the direction that they instructed him to. He was getting anxous as his progress, and was praying that one of his bugs would actualy make it to the end soon and send word back with the proper route to the ending. This was starting to look up for him, but he could not get happy quite yet. Sora still had alot more to go. He turned to the wall yet again and began to map out his progress with his finger, tracing the dust to create his own map of the maze only around where he had been. The map was of course incomplete as he had no way of determining where the center of the maze was for him to properly compensate for relitiviy, but this was a good thing. Any passing by participants would most likely have a hell of a time trying to make heads or tales of this track that he had made for himself. It was then that one of his scouts returned to him, provinding him some information as to where the source of wind that he had discovered was coming from, unfortunately, due to the many walls it was impossible to determine where the source was, but it was not in vein, his bugs had confirmed that there were other participants in his area, and that some of them were stationary, this lead him to belive that either there were traps here, or that there was some sort of reason to remain in the maze. This was upsetting because now he knew that getting to the end of this maze did not spell victory, that he would be forced to remain here for some time after, something that he was not nessicary happy to do.

Sora nodded to himself and continued forward, this could not get him down, if it was not challanging then what would be the point of taking the exam in the first place, he had to keep telling himself that there were people watching him, and that they were judging the way that he dealt with situations such as these, the skills that he obtained in this examination where skills that he would need his future as a Chunin. Yes! As a chunin! His resolve began to burn again, he was going to pass these exams, and take a step forward in the world, remembering why he was here in the first place. He was not interested in a title, in honor, not even the respect, he was here because as a Chunin he would have more missions that paid him at least a decent wage, he could keep a roof over his and his mothers heads, keep the medicine that she needed to live, and possibly gain enough reputation to be made Jounin from there he would be able to give his mother the life she diserved for raising him, and to make sure that her last years of life where lived happily and peacefully. He would finish these exams and show the world that he was strong and that he was here to do what was needed. He would not let these kids in the exams stop him, even if taking them down was the only option. With that, he dashed aside the notion that others were near him in this maze, that much was unimportant for the moment, he had a mission to do and he was about to see it through to the end.

Sora pressed on with a much higher resolve, resulting in his center of concetration that only made the situation easier, which in turn raised his resolve even futher. Sora turned another turn and faced himself with yet another hall of options, only to make another turn and find himself right back faced with more options. The entire situation could make a man go mad if stuck in this for too long, but he refused to be slowed down, would he speed through? of course not, but he would not lag behind either. He decided that the best course of action was to keep a steady pace through the entire thing, though his pace not be as quick as he would like it to be, at least it was not costly, he had to take a moment to think of those who where here that might have gotten turned around or lost, from what he could tell he showed no signs of either, as far as he knew every step up to this point had been correct and that the maze was simply so large that he had yet to finish it. This is what he kept telling himself, sure enough that he was right. His feelings of determination only rose slightly when a team of bugs returned to him with there findings, signaling that he was correct in that the direction he was heading was leading him to the source of wind and also to the source of the exit of this maze.

The information that he gathered from the bugs made his heart thump for just a moment, one of the bugs had reached a wall, this normally was not something that would cause him too much strife, but the fact was, this wall, only had one turn on each ends of it, meaning that this hallway was the final hall way to the goal, logically any maze that resulted in such a situation would have to have one of the directions lead to the goal, or it would be impossible to ever get there. One turn would lead you back around on yourself, while the other would lead you to the finish. Sora proceeded forward, this time picking up his pace yet again, although still making sure to take his time not to misread any of the signs that his bugs where giving him. It would seem that his approch was working out after all, and that once again his clans bugs proved themselves to be a vital part of his survival as a ninja. Sora could not belive that he had been in here so long, and to be honest with himself, he had no idea of how much time had passed, with no direct source of sunlight, this would have been impossible to do. Sora had a hunch that it might be possible that the tags also had some sort of illusionary effects that would cause the participates limited connection with anything outside of the maze. This was made even more clear as he noticed that his bugs seemed to fly low to the ground, where there was more wind to lift there wings. Low wind meant that the place was sealed, and that the wind was simply escaping through small cracks in some sort of door, wall, or window. Neither of which at this point has has had the fortunate of coming across. Sora turned his attention away from this hypothesis however in favor of a more lucrative thought process. Getting to the hall way that his bugs signaled to him as a possible conclusion to the maze adventure. He was pretty much sure that this was the correct place to be, however it was very far away, and it would take him some time to get to. He also noted that there were other players in the arena with him and it would not be in his best intereaste to run into them, he shuttered to think what would happen if he was found out using these bugs because then his scouts would simply be followed to the exit. It was this thought that caused Sora to have the idea of sending his bugs into a stand by position until he had reached them, he didnt want someone to see them and get tipped off as to the exits location.

Yuki was interested as to why he couldn't get past that one moment in her memory. The human mind records everything, it is just recalling it that makes us 'forget'. So technically, even if you don't recall it, it is there. So if it isn't there anymore...than... He looked up, not staring at anything in particular as he did so. Someone must have tampered with her memory! They would obviously not want her to remember what happened so she cannot just regain her normal self and recall what happened. So this was a deliberate action. Yuki stood up, towering over the girl with his height. "We won't have to immobilize her, she'll stay knocked out for at least an hour, that'll be enough time to get far away from her. At least that is what I have diagnosed from my Mind Trace."

The blond scanned the ceiling for the formation Hisaki pointed out. "So if we head towards that crease, we'll get to the center, and in the center is the boxes with the kanji? Which I assume we need to obtain to pass." He nodded, agreeing with his own plan of action. The only problem is how to get close to it, without traveling farther away? "Hisaki, did you run into anyone that was bloodthirsty like this girl? It seemed weird that she would not only attack two other genin, but also attack without hesitation." It didn't seem like a big deal to Hisaki, but Yuki thought it was quite odd that such a nervous wreck at the beginning of the exams would turn into such a fearsome adversary.

Sora was getting closer, it would seem that even though he had enetered late that he was making pretty good time, though he was not entirely sure how long he had been in here, it couldn't be all that long, maybe he had passed a few people and he would actually make it to the finish with enough time to spare. He retracted most of his scouts and sent them directly to the wall that he was looking for, so that he could have a better map of the direction he was going in, at each pass one of the units he knew that he was still going in the right direction, the only thing left to do now was actually get there, which was taking him more time than he had hoped. He was growing tired of this maze, and its constant twist and turns were starting to take a toll on him, he desperately needed to take a rest and regain his chakra, as well as catch his breath. Seceratly he had been navigating his puppet from its back the entire time, causing him a great toll up to this point. But none the less he pressed on.

Around him he could hear the voices of another participate, fortunately he was not on a track that would take him near that person and so he decided to ignore it for now though he did instruct a single bug to head in its direction to at least get a rough count of whom it that was there and possible to see if they had been to the finish or not, if they had and were still in the maze, then it would confirm his theory that for what ever reason reaching the end of the maze was not enough to actually escape it. Something more would be needed, which made sense to him considering throwing a bunch of genin into a maze really did not show a very true test of ability because in the real field a target would usually be moving, and anything that they were trying to obtain would usually be guarded, without any sort of conflict this maze seemed little more than a game of hide and seek. Sora reached a fork in the road, one that his bugs had not mentioned in there report to him. He sighed out of grief thinking that the bugs must have split into two seperate squads when hitting this road, and when called back, reformed into one squad and had not reported that there was a split. The bugs only knew what they were instructed and lacked the rational thinking of a human being.

getting hard to keep making 50 lines out of walking around xD

Sora reached the last wall and turned left as his bugs instructed, he could tell that he was almost to the end simply because of how long he had been walking as well as how far, he had to admit that he was starting to get alittle bit tired of walking, especially with the anxous feeling that every step he took could trigger a trap, and every turn he made could land him directly in front of an hostile enemy. It was tireing in itself to be constantly battle ready ever single step of the way, Sora began to walk alittle more sluggishly, letting down his guard ever so slightly, knowing that if something where to happen his bugs would already be actively int he area to protect him in the instance that it would take him to formulate a proper defense, or counter attack. His walk was less mechanical, and was not the sluggish walk of a jaded and bored participate, something that he hated to admit, and hated even more to show. What did he look like being in the Chunin exams and starting to get bored? That was almost like a slap in the face to the judges, was he not taking this seriously? Of course that was not the case, he simply was growing annouying with wandering around in a maze like a chicken whoes head had been cut off, thrown in the dark with a string attached to its legs.

Sora stopped for a moment, not able to take it anymore. He stepped down to his knees and placed his hands on the ground to brace himself before clicking his shoulder forward out of place. From his back the "puppet" began to move as its case cracked open like a coffen and the real Sora stepped out. His body covered in sweat hanging down over his face. He rubbed his forehead with the back of his wrist and took a deep breath, trying to regain his composure before he had to return to the safety of his coffen. Sora rotated his shoulders and his neck, it was getting to be a real pain in the a** to be in there for so long, but it was something that he needed to do. Being that close to the puppet made the time that it took between giving instruction and its reaction to be reduced to almost nothing, it also made it much easier for him to remain stealth ed inside this almost impenetrable coffen and even if his puppet were to be defeated he would already be in good position for a surprise attack from inside of the coffen. After taking a quick breather Sora stepped back inside and closed it, locking it back with the same seal that had kept it closed in the first place. The puppet which was designed to be perfectly identical to Sora cosmetically rotated its shoulders back in the opposite direction before clicking hold and standing back up to its feet and continuing on.

Sora began to notice things around him, first of all noticing that there was a pattern to the directions that he was taking, and not only that, that there were markings on the on the walls that told him where dead ends where, this was perfect as his final stride to the finish was now almost in the bag. He began to run now, sure of himself that he now knew the correct way to get through the maze, now it was simply a race for time, he knew where he was going he now only needed to get there before everyone else. Sora's heart was thumping in triumph, he had entered the exams late but he was pretty sure that he still had enough time to make it to the goal and prove himself worthy to be here.
