Out of the daze the scratching put her in, Nya opened her eyes slowly then blinked a few times. Once she heard the nickname Ryo called her, she put down her hands and looked up at him innocently.

Nya's fingers twitched as she caught his hand out of the corner of her eye.
"We were... um... Discussing why I was upset..." she said, taking long pauses between her words to try and back track her thoughts. The caressing from Ryo had forced her thoughts to be lost all the back to the main problem here.

"Well..." Nya looked away, her blush creeping back up. It was plain obvious this guy was older than her. How many years ahead of her he was was another story though. And yet...
Knowing this she still got giddy around him. Not only was he older, he was a stranger. Shame burst through her head and she felt hot tears welling up in her eyes.
What kind of kunoichi was she? Constantly crying like a kid and yet going after almost any guy she could find...
That was deplorable behavior, even for a normal girl.
Nya lifted a kimono sleeve to her eyes and tried to not let her tears spill onto her face. It was not only embarrassing but also shameful to think and cry like this.
