 Xakira blinked as he had given a reply to her worried thoughts. "Yeah. . .I. . .I guess your right. . ." this was followed up by another loud angry growl from her stomach, which ed probobly heard and she turned away, blushing and staring into the jungle to avoid his gaze. She felt a little weird. "I. ..I havent watched a sunset, especially with a boy or anyone. . .in. . .many. ..many years. . . " she for some reason confesssed that to him.

 ~ Edward Elric ~"To tell you the truth neither have I. The last time I saw a sunset with a girl it was with Winry when we were both still kids. I knew she had a crush on me then too but whenever she brought it up or tried to confess to me I always found some excuse not to answer her because I didn't like her back that way. Some reason though....I like watching it...now.." Ed you're such a stupid fool...just tell her already!

She looked up at him and actually gave a little smile. "Your kind you know that? You didn't want to hurt her, and although it may seem cowerdly to not answer her. . .I think it was kind for you to spare her feelings. . . " While they were kind of havving a heart to heart. . .why not tell him about that? "The last time I had watched a sunset. . .it was a week before someone I loved more than my own life. . . was murdered in cold blood. . . he had told me that I was special and should never give up on life. . .I didn't know that would be our only sunset together. . . " She looked up at it, now seeing it was the last few minutes of it. " I. . .I like watching it. . .now. . .it somehow. . .it fills me with hope. " She smiled but it was faint and it grew into a sad expression that nearly left her teary eyed. "He. ..he was the one.. . .That I. . ." She laid, lifting up her right automail arm. She gripped its wrist tightly wth her human hand. "I was so desperate and controlled by my greif. . .and so stupid. . . "

She felt a connection when he told her something so personal and private. She remembered when mira told her about the elric's story. She blushed and finally gave up on trying to resist eating more than one fish and grabbed anther slab of meat and stuck it on a skewer, holding it near the fire. "You caught alot. . . . um. . .g-g-good job. . ." She said nervously, feeling awkward and silent.

~ Edward Elric ~"Thank you...listen Kira there's something I....nevermind. I'm getting kind of sleepy and it's getting to me..I'm going to make the beds for the night..." When he stood up and went to one of the trees he kicked it for being so damn scared of confessing and thought that maybe was just a damn kid. He made the beds and eventually fell asleep with his shirt still off and his braid still out.

After she ate, she went over to the beds that ed had made for them and layed down, noticing how careless he was letting his damp hair and no shirt. She sighed and used some things she found on the beach she made two blankets and after placing on edward a nice warm cotten one, she climbed into the other bed and curled up with hers, falling asleep and wondering what the future held for them on this island.

~ Edward Elric ~A few weeks had gone by now and they were currently going through a hunting lesson. "No Kira you're doing it the wrong way. You're supposed to hold the spear like this." He blushed as bit as he took her hand and guided it so that it was in the right spot. "You then walk quietly up to the creature to kill it because you don't want to scare it off."

She blushed , seeing as she couldn't get the hand of this hunting thing right and kept having to correct her. "I know. . .I know. . . I. . ." She said with a huff. "I don't want to scare it off. . .I.. ..its going to be hard. . .t-to kill it. . .ya know? But its die or hunt so I have no choice." She said, admiring the spear's shining blade.

With his permission, she held her spear to her and crept to inside the tropical forest as quietly as possible. She sat near a bush, blending into the shadows and waited until her chance. Noticing on her right, a tropical squirrel had come into the clearing, sniffing for something. Angeling the spear just above it's head, she threw it and it shoomed through the air, sceweriing right through its side and into the tree behind it. "YES! GOT IT!" She cheered, getting up and taking the spear out of the tree and turned around to see edward there. She held out the bloody mess to show him with a grin. "Got it~" She said happily, waving the bloody thing in his face a bit.

~ Edward Elric ~Ed smiled at her feeling rather proud at his own teachings and at her for being able to catch something. "Well done Kira. Now you skin it and cook the meat on a stick. Go on and try it and try doing what I told you."

She grinned and ran over to their clearing, sitting down at the 'meat handeling station' as it was sometimes thought of as she removed the squirrel from her spear and carefully ran the gutting blade down the squirrel, careful not to take away extra meat that could be eaten. And after a bloody 'battle' she had gutted, skinned and had created a perfect 'plate' of squirrel meat to start cooking up. Her hands were still covered in blood and it made her gigle like a girly girl.. "Hungry eddie?" She said cutely beginnging to cook a slab of meat

~ Edward Elric ~"Yes I'm hungry thanks." He sat down next to her and dug into the food wondering if he could tell her now how he felt about her. "Hey remember before there had been something that I wanted to tell you...well I'm ready to tell you now. We have been getting along great these past few weeks and I've been thinking that if my younger brother can ask Mina then there's no reason why I shouldn't be able to do it too....I don't know why we argued before and I forgot why but over the course of time...I...I...I'm in love with you.....Yes I fell in love with you. I finally was able to tell you and you don't have to like me back if you don't want to...just please don't laugh..."

Xakira had taken a bite of squirrel meat, cooked of course, and her eyes wiudened as he just confessed his love for her. She choked a bit of her meal before swollowing it down and chased it with rain water. She did laugh, but it was a laugh of relief. All of this time she had liked him and knowing he liked her too made her feel so happy. She saw his face when she laughed and she stood up and came around and sat right next to him. "Bout time Lil ed. I thought you'd never catch on. . . Your as blind as a bat in the day time. " She said, nudging him in his side before blushing and sighing a deep happy sigh. "Did mira ever tell you about those dreams I had.. . .the ones about you?"
