Ryu kept a pace so he didn't drag behind. Every now and then he glanced to where the giant creature followed Aire. He looked to the ground, thinking of what had happened today.
I can't go back right now. If Dad ever knew....
He stole a glance at the airbender who was happily walking along side him.
He'd disown me...
Ryu suddenly felt lightheaded from anger, thinking about what had happened to his step sister. Why did she leave? If any firebenders caught her now, she would be given no mercy for being branded a traitor.... but would that mean he'd be considered a traitor too? Allowing to be helped by someone from a different nation?
Why did she do it? Why did she leave me alone?
(inner turmoil...)

Aire looked back at Ryuu when she realized something. He was wearing Fire Nation clothing, which meant that the guards at Ba Sing Sei would attack him on sight. "Hmm..." she said out loud. "You wouldn't happen to have a spare change of clothes on you, would you? Clothes that don't give away your nation?"

Ryu snapped from his thoughts and shook his head, his mind wandering back to their dilemma. He snapped
"I was kidnapped. That earthbender didn't care if I had extra clothes or not."
Ryu bit back his tongue.
Am I being too harsh...?
He didn't know why he would worry about something like this, but he couldn't help it. Here he was talking with an air nomad, when not a few hours earlier he was the loyal son of a fire nation governor.

Aire nodded a little to his answer, not too bothered by the snap. "Good point." She murmured to herself. "Well, we'll find some clothes for you in Ba Sing Sei. No need to fret." When the walls of the earth kingdom stronghold was in sight, she looked around where there were no guards in sight. Once she did, she had Ryuu wrap his arms around her waist. "Whatever you do, don't let go." With that said, she leaped into the air and over the wall.
Kurai sighed a little at her new friends insight on the four elements. "... I guess you're right. That would kind of explain how an airbender succeeds a firebender in the avatar cycle." Looking down at the empty bowl, she tilted it with a slight smile. "What do you think?"

flipped wonderland incident? and water would be the next avatar, it goes Air, water, Earth and Fire)
She smiles and nods "I am glad you like it.. most find it wonderful." she looks around "Do you mind if we maybe go for a walk.. sitting here feels strange since i am not working."

Kurai nodded a little to her question. "No, I don't mind." Standing up, she dug around in a pouch at her waist for a moment before pulling out a few silver coins. Taking one of Feu's hands, she placed the coins in her palm when it's open. "You made the food I ate, I pay you." With that said, she began to walk out of the restaurant.

Feu smiles and tosses the coins at the cashier before following Kurai "Thanks and sometimes I worry about if my food is good, I do not want to make something people dont like" she shrugs some walking next to Kurai.

Ryu did what she said... he didn't want to fall from such a height. His eyes widened and the muscles in his body froze until they were firmly on the ground on the other side of the wall.
