I thought a change of pace would be nice for the change. smile I kind of like the first one, actually. The guy looks like the av of one of my friends. xd

But you weren't really critiquing the art, you were just telling him to quit putting those 'bad fanart' pictures up. The limits that were attempted to be set limited, well, a heck of a lot of pictures, and even if they have their own websites, it's nice to have a compilation of people's favorites in one easy-to-access area, even if you don't agree that they are as well drawn as you say you can do. Most of them look just fine and serve their purpose, I think.
