As you approach the turtle, sand runs up the side of its shell and then terracing itself into a stair case which you are lead up. Now that you can see the Coral Structure, its even more amazing as all ofthe plant life that looks like it should be underwater, wavers as if drawn by underwater currents. As you approach the porch to the structure, water begins to rise and coalesce into a round form, within seconds you see... 
 "Salastri, thankyou for bringing the captain and his guests." It focuses on Lorea and Coud. "Whom might you two be and what business do you have with my brother's island?"

 "It's a pleasure to meet you Oceas. My name is Lorea and my companion there is Coud. We've come to this island to search for clues about the prophicy, The Pool of Whirls."

"Just as the water nourishes life, it is good too meet you, but I'm afraid I was already aware or that purpose. Please, allow me to be more direct. What purpose does the island serve you and your assumptions about the pool of whirls? Is it really going to provide you with any knowledge? I've often times wonder what the significance of the island is because originally the only person who knew was Tempesti, but he has long since forgotten. Possibly the one known as Geldrei has rediscovered its purpose, such a man protects his knowledge like a mother protects her child. Be prepared for a well gaurded tongue." The liquid eye turns to Nalani, but says to the group, "What questions do pose for me?'

Nalani watched in awe as the watery orb rose from the ocean. This must be Oceas...The one they had been talking about. Why had he taken to her? From what the captain and the sea elf were saying, he was quite infatuated with her. She couldn't imagine why...
She felt his eye on her, and turned to look more closely at Oceas. No longer afraid of him, she watched the water ripple around the orb. "Do you watch me?" she asked, not afraid to change the topic of conversation. "Why?" She had been waiting to ask since she heard the two men talking earlier that day...Her curiosity was becoming too much.

 "Should we seek Geldrei's knowledge before we attemp anything with the island? And if we do need to tamper with the island, is there a way for us to approach it?" I'm going to do a diplomacy roll too...

You successfully show him proper respect. The eye continues on Nalani. As the Eye's edges quite visibly slump with sadness. "I do watch you, but only because your parents cannot." The Eye turns to Coud, "Well, Geldrei exists on the island, and as long as my Salastri is with you, their exists a very easy course to the island." The eye continues to face Nalani, but is obviously still open to questions.

"The pool of whirls is a major event in my human life span. I quest for knowledge. Any and all. I'm not quite sure why.. it probably has to do with my upbringing.. but it all sparks interest in me. I know I'm just scratching on the surface of what I could possibly know. But I'd like to know the rest. Because the pool of whirls is a major point in the human time line I feel I should know as much about it as possible."
She waits and observes any reaction from Oceas but not long enough for him to respond. ~~ "So do you know anything about this prophecy?"

"Well - Mighty Oceas, Nalani has expressed an interest in seeing a little more of the world than this island - as her acting gaurdian, would you be opposed to her leaving the isle for a bit? Or is she bound to this place?"

Nalani saw the sadness in Oceas, and nodded..."I want to thank you for watching over me for all of these years. I'm glad that someone still cares for me like my own parents did. They would be happy to know that I have had a guardian, and that I was well cared-for. I must say, times have been rough on this island...I am glad that you've protected me as much as you could though..."
She looked to Coud, who was asking the next question that had popped into her mind. "Yes, if it's okay, I'd like to see more of the world. I haven't been to a city since I was a child. Would you let me go? I will come back though. This island is my home now."

A long watery tentacle extends from the side of the eye and points up to the sky. As her eye's adjust to the night sky and the stars come into view, Nalani realizes the blue star is missing. "I am always watching over you, child. You may come and go as you please, just remember that you are always welcome here, on this island and now in my home." He indicates to the coral structure behind him with the extended tentacle.

The eye turns to Lorea. "Your thirst for knowledge is most respectable, but please, show patience. It has been many years since the arrival of the ruins to this chain of islands and I'd have to say that my memory is very foggy. We as elemental protectors remember our responsibilities, while we oft forget the purpose. You will likely have to ask more specific questions than what all I know because even I am not sure of what knowledge hides in the deepest ripples of my being.

Nalani's mouth gaped open as she looked up at the sky, seeing the missing blue star that she'd been tracking. But before she dove into her questions about the strange star, she gave him a slight bow, and smiled. "Thank you...I do appreciate your kindness. And trust me, I will return. I love this place, and it is my home."
And then, after appropriately thanking the elemental, grateful for his help, she moved on to her questions. "What...what happened to the star Oceas? Wait, what is it's significance? Do you know? I've been watching it, and I notice it's strange movements."

"I am the star, we elementals all have hidden eyes in the sky. Unfortunately, the more we watch, the more likely the viewed may take notice of our eyes. Therefore, my eye is here and not there."

"Erm... How cryptic... So the crazy activity in the sky the past few days isn't of any importance to this mission? ~ Eff it... is there anything else important we need to know before we brave the forgotten isle? Do you know how Geldrei will recieve us? Will he attack? What kind of a person is he?"
