(Um... guess I should've clarified but yeah Alti is pretty much right with her assumption that the Tower is near the cathedral and that it's crumbling away from it.)
"What? Did you say Uncle Gwynn? Can you describe what this man looks like?" Tsunaimei asked Gloria surprised at her words. He's after the Virgo stone? But why? He abandoned the Order years ago and now has come back for the..." Tsunaimei thought aloud to herself as she trailed off when the realization of just who was behind the attack hit her. Her blood began to boil at the thought of Fiora's own brother betraying the Order he once so loyally had defended. Before letting her emotions run rampant again, she looked over at Gloria and asked, "Can you show us which passage it was?"
The wounded Holy Knight looked over and stared at Fiora's weapon. Tsunaimei shot the feisty silver haired man a look to his wise crack on her. "You say that as if I was given a choice in the matter... Just remember who came in and saved your hide Dominic." She shot back in annoyance. "I swear you're just like Hyato at times." Turning her attention to a very nerve racked Celine, the Virgo Vice Judge gave her an inquisitive look. Using Bane's head as a place to post her hand off to help herself to a standing position, Tsunaimei asked, "What is it Lady Celine? You look like you have a heavy burden getting the best of you." Just then a loud thunderous boom could be heard off in the distance along with cheers and the sounds of something crumbling to pieces. Tsunaimei forced herself through the pain and dashed over to Gloria and wrapped herself around the young bard to shield her as the ground rumbled like a small earthquake for a moment. "What the...?" She said while looking around and seeing no visible answer.
Kayla just stood there dumbfounded at all she had heard. As the ground shook for a moment she fell on her hind end and let out a whine.

Mer'loct paused for just a second as he saw the flash of red and orange, and then the explosion against the tower. He saw the cracks jut through it's structure and knew the ivory tower was going to fall. He broke back into to his sprint a new fire in his lungs. This was the person he was looking for, this would finish this ruthless attack. Screaming into battle he cut down the first mercenaries he came across with ease and looked to meet blades with the man in center of the small crowd.

"Saved my hide? You didn't, I was doing juuust fine," Dominic retorted before the loud and obnoxious boom sounded. He managed to keep his balance, though he was quite close to falling over, by sheathing the Save the Queen into the ground partially and held on. Hearing Tsunaimei, he looked at the White Phoenix leader. "I'll check."
Gloria held on tightly to Tsunaimei as the woman shielded her. "He was dressed in knightly garments with a navy blue cape. Short, blonde hair swept back, I think he's older than Mommy," she managed to reply, then pointed towards where the passage entrance was, now blown away by the earlier attack. "They went that way, but they could've come out by the stables, or the storage cellar or the tower."
Celine had also lost her balance, but unlike Kayla she ended up on her hands. Kneeling had done some good in that. She stood up once she could and reached behind her armor to pull out the pouch. Tsunaimei would most likely recognize it as Fiora's, having a golden angel wing charm on the string. "Judge Fiora gave me this when she ordered me to get to the tower. She didn't want the enemy go get a hold of it," she said, finally pulling out the vibrant blue stone out for them to see. The embedded mark of Virgo was directed right in Tsun's line of sight. "She didn't tell me what she was doing, but...she dove into the creek before we arrived and nearly drowned trying to get it out. I didn't understand then, but...now it makes sense..."
Dominic went through the shell of an entrance, and gaped, with his jaw literally hanging. "Holy...the tower!" he said, before breaking into a run. He wasn't sure what had transpired but the fact that the tower had fallen was quite clear.
Gwynn smirked as he saw that his spell had worked beautifully. He glanced over as he saw one of the Virgos, or so he assumed, start attacking his men. "Well, well...so it's a knight is it? You won't be much help without your sword," he mused as he watched more of his men go to fight Mer'loct. His excalibur blade glowed as he moved to get close enough for his attack. He lifted the blade into the air, the area around the attacking swordsman growing darker. "Destroy weapon," he said, slicing the weapon vertically through the air.

Walking down the dimly lit staircase which was more or less the only exit and entrance to his cell, Ra'Zir stopped and pondered where exactly he was. Last thing he recalled was the Order of Gemini, and all of its unholiness. Continuing down the stairs he finally arrived at the exit. Bright sunshine washed over his eyes s he quickly covered them his scaly hands, hissing. "DAMN IT! I forgot how wretched that could be...." he muttered to himself as he slowly regain his sight. Beginning to walk again, he reached into 'his' backpack and rummaged through it until you found a map of the facility. Reading it long and thoughtfully, he traced his whereabouts to the Armory. "So that's where they're keeping my baby!"he said before quietly laughing to himself.

Valthis, still recovering from his near-fatal wounds, felt that it was his time to go.... his target was obviously not here.... Untill he heard the boom of the tower's destruction. It gave him new hope to keep killing these men who seemed to only be destroying everything that the virgos had. Valthis then noticed Celine pull out the virgo stone from a small pouch. It's light struck him in awe for a mere moment. Valthis gripped his knife, stood up, and walked over to Tsunaimei. "Virgo..... No Virgo..... Death" He said before stopping just before Tsunaimei.

"H-hey!" Was all Bane stated as Tsunaimei used him as a crutch to rise to her feet. Before he could even think of a smart mouth comment about it, he heard the explosion and the crackling of something falling apart. "Well...that's never a good sound." He muttered. Bane rose to his feet and headed to then entrance (or what was left of it) to see the Tower collapsing. Just as Bane turned around to report to the others that the Tower was falling, he noticed Celine pull forth from a small pouch the very thing they had been sent to collect! And he was near it! ALL THIS TIME!! While Bane mentally kicked himself over it, he realized he was in a uncomfortable position.
Bane was still, technically, the hired enemy and still, technically, had to retrieve the stone. But the people around him and his target were allies. Bane sighed heavily as his mind raced.Dmitri blinked. "What...?" The man refused at first help. That was until he tripped and fell unconscious. As he helped Celine prop Valthis to a sitting position so she could cast Aegis upon him, the man awoke and began to move once more. "Oh I give up!" He shouted in frustration and ran a hand over his face. Then he felt the earth shake and heard a loud booming sound. He fell onto his rear and looked up to see the Tower collapsing. His jaw dropped in shock and confusion. It was something near the Tower that drew his attention away from the scene. It was Mer'loct who was running headlong towards the mercenaries that remained, surrounding a man. Dmitri rose to his feet, retrieved his blade and dashed forward to aid Mer'loct. "I'm glad you are willing to take the job. I can't tell you how much of a burden you have lifted off of me and more precisely, your interest in future jobs." Delita stated with a grin, his hands drawing together, fingers gently rapping against one another. "As for payment. Do not worry. You will be well compensated. You will be well taken care of so long as you and I continue working with one another. You may begin whenever you feel ready." Delita motioned for a guard to come forth who bowed to him and handed Crimen a few papers.
"A map of area, habits of the target and whatever else I thought might be useful to aid you in taking care of the Judge."

Valthis stared intently at the virgo stone. valthis thought to himself about the situation, before falling to one knee. He had forgotten his wound was still severe. "Virgo...." He said toward Tsunaimei and Celine. "Virgos.....Protect stones.....Precious to....Balance....." Valthis' Look had changed. His look went from a look that said; "I'm going to stab you..... because you deserve it" to more concerned look. Valthis had not realised that this whole fight was about the stones. But he was in no condition to fight. Valthis sheathed his knife, and walked over to a nearby wall, where he sat down, and layed against it. "not my fight.....anymore...." He said aloud, as he rested against the wall.

Mer'loct watched in horror as the blade of his father's sword shattered before his eyes. A rage gripped him like none that he's had since he watched his brothers get cut down by the masked assassin. Several of the mercenaries rushed at him now that he seemed defenseless. "I've had more training than that." Mer'loct said with a deathly growl in his voice. With a quick turn he backhanded three of the mercenaries who were standing around him before hitting the last one with the 'secret fist' technique. He froze as his insides were turning inside out from the sudden reversal of the soldier's chakra. Seeing three mercenaries standing in a row, Mer'loct summoned all his anger into one strike. "Earth's anger running through my arms! Earth Slash!" He cried as he pushed all his anger out and shot it forward to bring down the last of his normal opponents. Standing amidst all unconsious mercenaries, the knight took up one of their swords and pointed it at the man that shattered his father's sword. "This may not work as well as my blade did, but it'll be more than enough for me to cut you down."

"That's him alright..." Tsunaimei admitted solemnly. "The Ivory Tower has fallen?! He'll pay for this. I swear it!" She added clinching a fist in anger. The gleam of an all too familiar charm caught the Vice Judge's undivided attention. Before Tsunaimei could ask, Celine had already answered her initial question of how she came into the possession of the Virgo Zodiac stone. She thought back to when she left the clue that only Lady Fiora would be able to catch onto in the event that something happened to Tsunaimei and Virgo was searched for the stone. The sapphire haired woman was glad to know the stone hadn't fallen into enemy hands. Tsunaimei began to reach out for the stone until the approaching Valthis made her freeze. She looked at him noting his injuries and eyeballed him cautiously while she moved Gloria behind her to shield the bard from the strange man. "Virgo. No Virgo. Death?" Tsunaimei repeated questioningly. She couldn't quite figure out what the hooded man was trying to say. Tsunaimei say Valthis stare at the stone and she gripped the hilt of her blade tightly. His initial stare towards her didn't help the Holy Knight's nerves as she returned a glare that dared him to do something foolish. It wasn't until Valthis sat against the wall that Tsunaimei had relaxed a little bit. Reaching her arm out again, Tsunaimei took the pouch and held it in her hand.
As Fiora came up to the upper levels of the Ivory Tower and told everyone to escape. Only a small handful managed to escaped to the stables before the building crumbled to the Earth. The few Virgos that were next to Fiora when they realized the tower was falling apart, valiantly sacrificed themselves in a brave attempt to save their beloved Judge from getting squished from the debris. It was a real shame that so many had died.

Entering the somewhat guarded Armory using stealth means by crawling on the walls by digging his sharp claws into the dark stone. Ra'Zir managed to find what he was looking for, sticking to the shadows he maneuvered over to a particular weapon, a grim looking scythe. "Glad to know you death worshipers can take care of weapon that don't belong to you properly!" The Dragonkin shouted out, alerting all the guards in the building.
Twirling his weapon around and slashing the air around him, Ra'Zir was getting a feeling for his weapon again. Finally he moved forward with a toothy grin as he had his scythe propped against his shoulder. "You know... I could have just as easily walked in here, slaughtered you all, and THEN taken my weapon back... That you had stolen from me ages ago... But then how could I get the rust off of my abilities..." he let out a low growl as he suddenly rushed forward towards the knights.
They brought up their defenses after the first knight was taken by surprise, as Ra'Zir turned his head to face his next victim. "Look, you're all going to die, so at least make this sporting and start RUNNING!" he began to laugh, leaping at the next knight who was only able to black the initial attack before Ra'Zir claws tore into his expose head. One knight had listened to Ra'Zir and began to run before the Dragonkin took notice.

Bane sighed. "Sorry Tsun...." He stated as he let fly a blow to her stomach and snatched the pouch out of her hands. To ensure she couldn't follow, he hit her on the head with the hilt of his sword. He then began to run as fast as his legs could carry him. Mercenaries in the area spotted him running and began to place themselves between him and his pursuers. Bane was almost near Gwynn and could see the man.
"GWYNN! QUICK! WE MUST FLEE THIS PLACE!" He shouted as he continued to run to Gwynn. "I got the stone!"Dmitri knocked a mercenary aside and cut down another as he finally reached Mer'loct's side. "Figured you might need some help." He spotted another mercenary heading towards Gwynn and shouting something and fleeing. "We must hurry. They're going to retreat soon!"

Gloria gasped, hearing that the tower had fallen. She then was distracted by Tsun's movements to protect her. "Tsunaimei...we need to help Mommy... Uncle Gwynn thinks that the stone is still in the creek and..." She then blinked. "...What if he caused the tower to fall?" It was just then that Bane hit the Blue Dragon.
"Wha-what are you doing!?" she cried out to the merc as she moved to grab her 'big sister', though she really wasn't strong enough to do more than make her landing softer.
Celine tore after Bane, drawing her sword. "Come back here, you coward!" she shouted, unfortunately being attacked by a couple of mercenaries that decided to help Bane out. "Noo! We can't let him get away! Dominic, get that pouch!"
Dominic called out to Dmitri, and tried to get over towards the two allies, when he heard Celine shout. The knight glanced back in time for Bane to pass him up, only understanding what was in Bane's hand after the sell sword had passed him. "Oh s**t!" he said, running as fast as he could. "You're not getting away!"
Gwynn was going to continue his assault on Mer'loct, however, his ears caught the wind of victory that Bane was saying. "Ah, it seems I have much more important business to deal with," he said, bowing a bit to Mer'loct, then teleporting. He landed close to where Bane was running. "Give it to me!" he said, getting to the minion. He snatched the pouch out of Bane's hand and peaked inside. The smirk on his face showed he was pleased. "Then let's go! Everyone fall back! We have what we came here for." He took hold of Bane's arm, and teleported again, the bigger man in tow. If he couldn't teleport far, none of the virgos could most likely tell.
Back at the tower, pieces of the rubble moved, revealing Fiora as she crawled out unscathed minus a bruise on her face, and possibly others that weren't visible. She had completely missed what transpired and found it painful to stand. However, she was still alive, thanks to those that gave their lives for her safety. "GWYNN!" she shouted, trying to spot her brother. However, again, she was too late.

"Sorry for-ugh..." Tsunaimei started as she was cut off by the cheap shot to the abdomen. She immediately doubled over to her knees coughing violently and desperately gasping for air. Before she could regain her composure, the blow to the back of the head made her face plant to the floor and knocked her out cold.
Kayla let out a gasp as Bane took advantage of the situation. "Hey! Why'd you do that you jerk?!! Get back here!" She yelled as Bane continued to flee for his life. She ran over to the unconscious Holy Knight and shook her. "Lady Tsunaimei? Lady Tsunaimei, are you alright? Please wake up!" Kayla cried.

Bane had handed the pouch over just as Gwynn snatched it and before he could say anything, Gwynn had grabbed hold of his arm and teleported the two away. As they re-appeared in a different area, Bane felt like his head was spinning. "Gaaah..." He stated, rubbing the temples of his forehead.
"It wasn't easy...ya know...getting the stone." He muttered. "Some Virgo knight had it all along. I was nearby and didn't even know 'til she pulled the damned thing out after the Cathedral was blown up."Dmitri wondered what the knights were chasing after the man for. It wasn't until Dominic ran past him and nearly grabbed a hold of the retreating man that he began to suspect he had something important. Dmitri tried to trip him but only succeeded in tripping up Dominic. "Sh*t! Sorry! Gaaah!" He stated, helping Dominic to his feet. Dmitri looked back to see not only the odd man but also the leader teleport away. "Some help I was..." He muttered.

Gloria cast another spell on Tsunaimei, hoping to cure her wounds, before glancing at Valthis, seeing his severe wounds. "That poor man," she said, casting regen, and then set about casting other healing spells. Even if she wasn't that good of a white mage, being bard was her primary skill, it seemed she was the only one besides her mother that knew any of them. "You'll be okay..."
Celine kept attack the mercenaries, even as they got the order to retreat. The woman even gave chase, at least up to where Dominic and Dmitri were. "I...I can't believe it... He took the Virgo stone..." she said, clearly upset. She had failed Fiora, and thus failed the entire order. Shock took residence on her face, and hearing Fiora shout for Gwynn, the knight looked to the rubble and started to shiver at the thought of telling the judge what had just happened.
Dominic had ended up falling face-first to the ground. He used his free hand to pound the dirt with the bottom of his closed fist. "Dammit! Dmitri, you should've just grabbed the son of a..." he said, his words trailing off into a growl. Hearing Celine reveal just what it was that Gwynn now had made him even more ticked off. "Now what?" he asked, before looking the same direction as Celine. "It...really is Judge Fiora..." he said, his temper cooling, if only slightly.
Fiora was casting healing spells on herself as she made her way to the trio. "Where is he? Where is my brother?" she asked, her body trembling with anger. This was unacceptable!
Dominic grimaced, and upon seeing Celine's body language, decided he'd have to be the bearer of bad news. "The ex-Vice Judge just made off with the Virgo stone. ...I'm...sorry, Mi'Lady, we did our best..."
Gwynn looked over at Bane, already starting to walk for his chocobo. "I appreciate it. Your name was..." he began, pausing. "Bane, correct? Good job, soldier. I was starting to think we were going to have to take a plunge into the creek." He climbed up onto his red chocobo. "If you wish to follow me, i'm sure a larger reward can be arranged for you especially. If you hadn't helped, the Virgos may have indeed left with the stone yet." He hid the pouch within his armor as he held onto the reins of his mount. It wouldn't do to lose the stone after having just gotten it after all. He gave a nod to another chocobo that was tethered to the tree by them. "Use that one if you wish to go."
