Pardonner took a step forward to find that his legs would hold him once again and smiled lightly at Artemis. A frown took the place of the smile by the time the two reached the top of the stairs. "You only did that because you don't like weak people didn't you?" he asked softly brushing some of his hair out of his face.

Artemis shook her head as she look back at him softly. "I did that so you could prove to yourself that you are strong." she said softly, closing the door behind him. "Come here, I need to put something on those wounds." she said, motioning for him to follow her over to the table.

Pardonner followed after her quietly as he contemplated his next sentence carefully. "I'm strong up to a point... If pain is involved, I become timid and weak... That's why I created Nightengale in the first place... He helps take some of the pain away..."

Artemis nodded slightly, before stopping at the table and grabbing the bowl of goo once more. She turned towards Pardonner, a calm expression upon her face. "Take your shirt off dear." she said, her voice smooth and sweet.

Pardonner slid his shirt off over his head, wincing at the movement his arms made. He made another gagging motion when he saw the blood on his shirt. "I also get sick at the sight of blood," he smiled lightly.

Artemis shook her hea slightly and took the tshirt from him, setting it on the table. She got a little bit of goo on her fingers and stepped a little closer to Pardonner. She pressed her fingers gently to the long scratch and rubbed some goo on the small part of the gash. The goo would take the pain away instantly, and soothe the burn.

He had flinched when he felt her fingers touch the wounds but now stood completely still as she spread the goo over the injuries on his back and chest.

When Artemis was done, she smiled softly at Pardonner and moved over to the sink, turning on the hot water and washing her hands thoroughly. Drying them off, she moved back over to Pardonner and raised her eyebrow. "Feeling any better?" she asked, her tone soft and curious.

Artemis shrugged. "For now anyway." she said with a smirk, leaning up against the kitchen table. "You should be safe for today.. I figured you have been through alot of pain... Which means I have to start planning for tomorrow.." She said, laughing lightly to herself at her little joke, her facial expression showing that she was not serious.

"If it's alright with you, I think I'll go take a nap. I'm feeling quite a bit drained after all that," Pardonner smiled a bit nervously as he took a step back and slid his shirt back on.

Artemis nodded and moved over to the refridgerator, opening the door and grabbing herself a bottle of water. She then moved over to the kitchen counter and hopped up on it, taking a sip of the water as her eyes gazed out the window.

Pardonner ran out of the kitchen and disappeared into a room that was dark and he had claimed mentally as his own. "Sweet darkness, put me to sleep," he murmured laying down on the bed with his eyes closed. He woke up several hours later and the time read 1200 on the clock beside the bed. He shoved the clock onto the floor and reclosed his eyes, trying to go back to sleep. It failed and he left the room yawning. "Mornin, chica..."

Artemis was sitting on the couch, her white hair pulled up off her neck, light curls framing her face. She was wearing a pair of sleep shorts and a tanktop, a black robe pulled around her. She looked in the direction which Pardonner's voice came from and waited for him to enter the living room, her eyes drifting back to the tv.
