Jez and Derek exchange a glance and nodded almost in sync as they followed Axl Marcus and Logan.They weren't sure of what they could ask...well, Jez could think of one thing but it was probably the one thing they didn't have.
She hadn't gone hunting in days she was supposed to have gone at the biker's bar, before all the drama went down.
But she hadn't and now a hunger completely different from the one her human half gave her was making itself known.It was a hunger for blood and even as she kept telling herself it wasn't that bad ( not yet) her fangs were starting to come out, her eyes flashing silver every now and then.
What are the chances of them having a blood bank.?
Derek didn't even look up at the thought entering his mind, he was used to Jez having mental conversations with him. He simply shrugged and gave her a look, to which Jez shook her head. She wouldn't feed from him, not when he could be in danger. She refused, she was fine.
Derek shrugged again and tuned to Axl, obviously a bit self-concious about taking him up on his offer "...don't suppose you have some weapons to spare" he said looking around
axl smirked and said "damn right we do" he nodded to someone as they passed, "what are you looking for?" he looked at Jez "you're lookin a little hungry, you need food or blood? we have a grand feast hall to which we are currently being led, and the medical wing keeps and ample supply of fresh blood bags for patiens who need transfusions and our vamp friends alike."
Derek's eyes llit up at the mention of food making Jez roll her eyes.
We just dealt with Morgead and stepped into a portal to deal with Goddess-knows-what, how can you possibly think of food.
I'm a flat-broke human living with vampires who don't need to buy food to live, I'm always thinking of food.
She had to give him that one, though she couldn't help but roll her eyes again.
"Uh..Broad sword? Battle Axe?" Derek said thinking off the to of his head and answering Axl's question about the weapons. He knew it was kinda generic but it was what he was best with. He was secretly hoping they did have an axe just because he liked them best but a sword would do too.
Jez for her part nodded at Axl's inquiry she was hungry and if they had a way for her to feed it would be appreciated "I was kinda supposed to feed at the Biker's Bar" she murmured, it was why she and Derek had been out to begin with "I feed from Derek when I can but..I can't do it too often" and she didn't really want to do it now, she added mentally. Since finding out she was half uman she had been trying to feed less, but she was still only half human, she couldn't really stop completely, no matter how hard she tried. Feeding from Derek weakened him, and was only done when there wasn't a choice ( i.e. to make hunting on school grounds less frequent or if they were on the run)
