Sora HikariBlue Bird XXXXXXXXX Run Around Forgive and Forget but don't Repeat Sora continued flipping through multiple books at once, her eyes skipping from one page to another. To others she would have appeared to have just been skimming but the girl was completely taking in everything she was reading. She had a huge capacity for information and right now was one of the few times when it showed.
So far, she had discovered the legend of the four mountains and the four heavenly kings, or emperors as some texts called them. Each mountain/emperor symbolized various things. The East was protection and snakes while the South was aggression and weapons. The North, in turn, was symbolized by mongooses and the all-seeing eye. As for the West, it seemed to like monkeys and illusions.
The girl continued to pore over the texts, not yet satisfied with what she had learned. She didn't know how useful this would be but... perhaps it did have some use. Besides, it would probably be better if she knew at least a bit of what she was tackling before she actually attempted it.

'Then...I'll need power to...achieve that goal'
Letting the readers only see bits of Kaze Arashi's thoughts, it's too vital to let out just yet.
Entering the library on that thought, Kaze made his way into the library. He hair bright red, with the occasional hairs more crimson, or orange at the tips of his hair, that went down to his backside, than anything else. He ran his fingers through his red hair constantly. Speaking of red, he had red gloves fingerless gloves on as well. It had a black strap at the wrist of it as well, on both gloves, on both hands. His left hand moved through his hair, due to his hair getting in front of his left eye. His eyes, being a bright green, or turquoise, as some would call it.
His clothes were unusual. It was a vest...Or jacket, whatever you wanna' call it. There was a vest piece, in fact. It had a very unclear drawing of a heart. It was split in two parts. Both pieces, if the vest was buttoned up, would actually show said heart. It would be centered on Kaze's chest, and partially his stomach. In addition, the vest also had a shoulder plate type of thing on both shoulders. Aside from the vest, the sleeves of his shirts were different. On the left, it was long sleeve. The end of the sleeve, had a collar, some would say, used for lack of a better word. It was golden, while the sleeve is white. The right sleeve, on the other hand, with no pun interned, was a long sleeve rolled up past Kaze's elbow. And, finally, Kaze's shirt, was unbuttoned, revealing his chest and stomach, and had the collar sticking out, and it was rather rugged, and jaggeder, but, it wouldn't hurt anyone. Its a collar, calm down.
His presence was... Cheerful, but heavy, yet his physical expression wore a smile. His presence was heavier than most ninja's. He was, as some would call it, 'Gifted', or, as most call it, 'Cursed'. Because of...
Anyway, aside from this, Kaze walked into the library. He skimmed the aisles for the aisle that had the information on summoning scrolls. So, he found it. He grasped his hand around the scroll, or book, whatever, and pulled it from its place. Putting his hand by his side, with the information with it. He wanted to the nearest table, only to see a girl studying. So, he decided to sit down right across from her, her being Sora, and put both of his hands on the table, the book, or scroll, between the two.
Utilizing his right hand, he opened the book, or scroll, from page one. He then began reading, his green eyes scanning the page, actually reading, absorbing every bit of information he was taking in. He wanted to know everything. He thought, perhaps, reading this, and attaining a summoning, would boost his power, or lower it. Or worse, kill him entirely. Though, he was not 100% concerned with that at all. He just wanted to complete his goal. Achieve his goal. Get his questions answered. Was that too much to ask, eh?
Kaze's mind was fixed on this book, or scroll. Screw it, we'll call it a book. This book didn't give any answers to what types of summons their were. It did tell of examples of their power, and how they could help greatly in battle. More like a sword for someone, or a side-kick. Yes, a side kick. A side-kick would be great. Simply great.
Anyway, Kaze continued, basically. Wait..Why did I type that last paragraph above this sentence? Was it worth it? It didn't really describe much. Eh, oh well.

Sora HikariBlue Bird XXXXXXXXX Run Around Forgive and Forget but don't Repeat Sora looked up curiously for a moment as a stranger sat in front of her but decided against using her usual, cheerful greeting. The boy, who didn't seem to be wearing a Cloud headband at all, seemed as absorbed in his book as she should have been in her multiple texts. Besides, it was the library and Sora had more than once been given a look by the librarian whenever she accidentally talked to loud. Of course, she never got in trouble, but it was still embarrassing. Her eyes returned to her scattered books as she continued to read about Kumogakure and its history, geography, myths, whatever she could find that had even an inkling about the four mountains surrounding the village. Over time, her circle of books had grown as she steadily added extra books to it for added reference.
Even as she remained silent, Sora's energy could be seen in how she read, her eyes constantly darting from one text to another and her body often shifting with her eyes. She would turn every now and then to look at books behind her only to turn again a moment after to look at a book to her.

As his eyes scanned, and absorbed every word and concept in this book, Kaze couldn't help but think of something. His red hair hung off of the back of the chair he was sitting on. His green eyes looked up to the girl he was sitting across from, who occasionally switched and swapped from book, to book, to book. 'She must be studying intensely.' He thought, putting his eyes back on the book, his hands with their red fingerless gloves, flipping from one page, to the next, until Kaze had finished. Which, was fairly quick.
After reading the book cover to cover, Kaze leaned back in his chair. Putting his hands behind his head, and interlocking his fingers. With his feet on the ground, he rocked back and forth, occasionally, he was rocking the chair on the tips of his toes. And, the sound made little to no sound as it rocked.
He had his eyes closed as he rocked, and a facial expression showing he was thinking, thinking deeply. 'Sure it can give additional power, by granting an additional body to your aide...But...Will that help me, at all?' 'How will this help me, in the future?' 'What type of summon is it possible that I will get?' Kaze thought multiple things, almost at once. There were several short intervals between them all.
Coming to a decisive conclusion, while rocking, Kaze stopped rocking, letting the chair fall to all fours in a calm fashion, if that makes sense. Anywho, Kaze's hair sort of flung forward while the chair came to all fours and was on the table, having Kaze put his elbows on the table, obviously not on his hair, with his fingers interlocked under his chin, and supporting his chin. He opened his eyes to look at the girl in front of him. He looked her over, and shook his head, and looked back at her. If she raised her head, Kaze would speak to her. If she didn't, he wouldn't have said anything, and just close his eyes again, and ponder.
"Hey. Names Kaze." He would say in a calm, and low tone, if she looked up. And, if she gave her name, he would asked something on the lines of what she was studying.

Sora HikariBlue Bird XXXXXXXXX Run Around Forgive and Forget but don't Repeat Sora felt someone watching her and her eyes darted up to the source of the feeling, the red-haired stranger without any sign of allegiance to Kumo. Almost as soon as she looked up, the boy greeted her, almost as if he was waiting for her to look up. Figuring that she should be polite, Sora replied with a smile, "Hello. The name's Sora. You're not a ninja of this village, are you?". Sora only realized after she had said the last sentence that she had meant to not say it, a mental thought that was proven by her physical reaction of abruptly closing her mouth after her question was done while wearing a shocked/apologetic expression on her face. "Erm, sorry," the girl apologized with embarrassment, hoping that she hadn't been too rude, "I didn't mean to ask something so rude…."Chakra Points= 39/39 Exploding Smoke Grenade= 8/8 Makibishi= 15/15 Shuriken= 31/31 Light Bombs= 7/7 Senbon= 40/40

Laughing, Kaze's green eyes looked at Sora's face, then focused more on her eyes as she apologized. "Its not a problem, Sora." Kaze said, using his left hand to brush his long hair off the table, then returning it to its original position; under his chin, interlocking with his right hand's fingers. "Its fine. No need to apologize. But.." Kaze said closing his eyes, briefly, then re-opening them. "..I am not of this village. I am of Iwagakure." He said calmly. "But, don't worry, we aren't enemies." He said. He then decided to sit up. Placing his back against the back of the chair, with his right arm crossed over his left.
"So, Sora, what is your goal, as a Kunoichi?" Yes, it was an unusual question Kaze asked, but always polite to ask, if chosen.

Sora HikariBlue Bird XXXXXXXXX Run Around Forgive and Forget but don't Repeat Sora smiled, she was still slightly embarrassed but she was also happy to know that she wasn't seen as rude. She nodded when hearing that Kaze was of Iwa. She had heard from her parents about the alliance between Iwa and Kumo. Then her face changed to one of confusion when she was suddenly asked the question of what her goals were. "Well," the girl began with a confused but strong start before finding out that she really didn't know what her goals were.
"Well," Sora tried to start again, with a much quieter voice this time, "umm... I guess it's to protect what I want to protect?". Sora knew that such a dream was too shallow to actually be her real goal, but it was all she could think of at the moment. Maybe before she would have accepted it as her goal but after everything that has happened to her, from her first release of the Rokubi to the meeting of her dark side on the mountain and to the strange nurse that gave off the same ominous feeling as her dark side, the girl had changed greatly even though she might not have been able to show it on the outside.
She still wanted to protect, yes, but the question was, what did she want to protect? If she had to choose between two options of protection, which would she choose? How would she know that what she wanted to protect was truly what she, herelf, wanted to protect and not, as the nurse said, something that she was made to believe to want to protect. Sure, she had accepted that people had differences in opinion so there was truly never any good and bad but the young girl had yet to figure out what her own opinion was. She had yet to figure out who she truly was.
"Maybe that's why I want to research the mountains?" Sora quietly mumbled to herself in an unconscious whisper as her face remained in the thoughtful position that they had been in ever since she began thinking about the question that Kaze had asked her. The girl quickly snapped out of her daze, though, and placed a smile on her face once more, completely oblivious to the fact that she had thought part of her thoughts out loud, "So, what's your goal, Kaze?". She was in the middle of talking with someone and it was rude to wander of in her own thoughts while making someone wait for her.

Listening to Sora speak, Kaze only nodded to her as she did. 'Protect what she wants to protect' He thought to himself. It was her goal, which he was dissecting, so to speak. Kaze could tell she hadn't really thought of it. That was fine. So, he let her think on it.
Kaze examined Sora's expression. It seemed like..She was pondering. Definitely pondering. So, as she pondered, Kaze's eyes wondered. Looking at everything in the area, the books on the shelves, and the shelves, bookcase, the chairs, tables-- Everything.
When Kaze heard a faint mumble, his eyes went right back to Sora. Soon after, Kaze was asked what was his own goal. He raised an eyebrow, and smirked. He couldn't say he didn't see the counter-question coming. "My goal..?" Digesting the question, Kaze could only raise an eyebrow, and smirk, again.
He then broke eye contact by closing his eyes, and chuckle a bit, then re-open his eyes. "I have many goals. I have goals that lead up to main goals, but, I suppose you want to know that main goal." Kaze utilized his right hand, and ruffled his hair. "To become Iwagakure's Sannin, and maybe even create my own organization." He said, finally making eye contact as he did. If she was going to ask about his, just, 'regular', goals, he wouldn't answer those questions. None of the readers should know those questions! Not yet, at least.

Sora HikariBlue Bird XXXXXXXXX Run Around Forgive and Forget but don't Repeat Sora's head cocked to one side as she thought about what Kaze said. Finally, she replied with a childish, "Why?". It was short and simple, but carried a world of meaning in it. Why did Kaze want to become a sannin? For what reason? What was the organization he wanted to create like? Why did he want to create it? What led his to decide on such goals? Those were just some of the questions that Sora had behind that one word.

Looking at Sora as she asked,'Why', Kaze proceeded to explain. "Why do I want to become a Sannin? Because.." He said beginning to chuckle once more. "That way, I'll be able to travel the ninja world, and stay aligned with my village, and not having to be forced to do missions, though, doing missions are good on occasion." Kaze said, in multiple breathes.
Stretching out, Kaze then reverted back to his original posture. His back against the chair, his sheathe, and sword in the sheathe, on his lower back, hidden. Hair hanging off the chair, etc.

She had figured that if she could know more about why people chose what they chose then maybe she could get better at choosing her own choices. That, and it was kind of fun hearing all of Kaze's interesting answers.

As a result, she instead replied with a cheerful, "Twelve!" as she held up ten fingers at once and then changed the ten to a two to show her age. However, she wasn't going to just let Kaze get away with not answering her question, so she repeated, "So why do you want to travel?".

Giving Sora a certain glare as she said why, Kaze figured she would be at least 10. But, when she shouted her age, and the fingers to back it up, Kaze could only laugh. "Awesome. I'm 14" He said directly after she told her age. She was surely a reader, for 12.
When she asked Kaze the next question, he decided to tell her. "Because, I don't like being stuck in one place for a long time. Which is why I'm trying to leave Kumogakure in a hurry. I've been here too long."
