Arcane grumbled loudly as his ears was nipped at and he snapped at Buck before huffing and pressed his horns in to the others side nuzzling him. "you got me all wet..." He snorted then stood up grabbed the other by the scruff and pitched him right back in to the water, it was deeper there so he wouldn't land in any sharp rocks.

Buck looked seriously hurt til Arcane nuzzled him and was about to say something when he went flying in the air. It took him a moment to realize what happened but he surfaced laughing. "Alright Handsome, you win. No more water play today." He climbed out of the stream and dried off. "If we keep a decent speed we could reach home today."

Arcane got up and stretched "Alright, I can carry you if you get to tired." He smiled softly and set out walking, there was a lot less snow down here and for that he was glad, it had been a while since he'd seen green.

Buck chuckled and fell into place next to Arcane. "So you prepared for the social scene? Or are we gonna hole up in the den for awhile?" Buck wiggles his eyebrows suggestively at Arcane and nuzzles him affectionately.

Arcane's ears sank a moment. "well have to see, I normally don't do well around others...which is why I live alone...or did" he muttered softly.

Buck smiled and nuzzled Arcane. "Don't worry bout it Handsome I'll take care of ya." He pulled his nose just a tad ahead so he could lead the way to his den. The sun was just about to set when he caught sight of the back end of his den. "We're almost there it's under that large tree."

Arcane followed behind stepping lightly on the grass his paw where not use to feeling. He blinked as they got closer to the den he looked a bit nervous he could see many others of his kind and he slowed down.

Slinking in the shadows of a nearby tree, the female sat glaring at the den, with a glare dangerous enough to set the den on fire. She looked down quickly to glance at her lovely little baskets and smiled, before rearing her head back to stare at the den.
It was then that she caught sight of him and her fur stood on end, her heart beat a little fast, and a grimace washed over her face. Holding her head high she waited with bated breath for the male to step a bit closer to his den.
It was then, that she saw the male in his company.

Buck bumped into Arcane playfully. "Don't worry, we'll give you some time to get used to the new place before we start having alot of people over."Totally unaware of the watcher he sauntered right up to the mouth of his den. "Here we are Handsome! Our new abode!"

Arcane had stopped a good ways over easily seeing the female in the doorway. He eyed her a moment then sat down and pressed his wings to his body. If she was related to Buck he didn't want to frighten her. He weakly wagged his tail in greeting and sniffed the air.

Alert to the other male's presence, the female growled under her breath and stiffened her body in preparation.
With a big intake of breath, the female turned back to the two lovely baskets at her feet, and grabbed them both gently in her teeth, tugging lightly she managed to pull them out into the sunlight, and directly into Buckner's line of sight. With a quick smile, and a predatory and instinctive stance, she gently wrapped her tail around the two baskets.
"Hello Buck!"
She beamed proudly with glee as she stated his name.

Buck whirled around at the female's voice, she looked familiar. He raked his brain for a moment trying to remember her name. "Well hello Darling." He turns to Arcane knowing that being social isn't his thing. "Do you want to go on in and explore?" Noticing the baskets he raises an eyebrow. "So..Nema what a wonderful surprise, it's been awhile how are you?"

Arcane didn't move he said stiffly watching as the two interacted with each other. His ears pricked up as he saw the baskets and finally moved over sitting a bit away from her. "Hello there." He said as properly as he could.

With a slight tilt of her head, the female acknowledged the other male's presence, for a split second, she hoped she wasn't being rude, but really whoever he was wasn't her priority right now.
"Pregnant obviously.
She glared the male down as best she could and with a slight smile nudged her baskets lovingly.
"I'm quite sure you can guess the Father. Right?"

Buck chuckled at Nema's humor. "You were always the blunt one Dear." Her glare left him a bit shaken but tried to hide it, the only indication being his tail sought out Arcane. "Why should I, have I met him before?" After the words left his maw he got a strange feeling in the pit of his tummy. He visibly pales and looks into Arcane's eyes but spoke to Nema. "I'm the father." He let his voice hang, the words vibrating in his head.
