"OI! OIIIIIIIII!!~" Sai's word's cut into the buzz in Soba's head. The blow from hitting the platform's base had knocked him partially unconscious. His eyes snapped open to see the worm frozen to the ground and Sai beckoning the other nin away from the worm creature. Painfully he got up and made his way as quickly as possible to Sai's location. Just as he'd made it, a bright light shone from somewhere behind him. The chuunin turned just in time to see the explosion propel the beast skywards, and later fall on top of the ninja it had fallen on before. Oh boy!! Again?!, thought Soba, laughing in his head at the pure comedy of the situation. He winced as he felt the fresh bump on his head begin to throb. "Focus your attacks on one. You'll take them out faster, and do your best to avoid that thing... It's strength is increasing way to rapidly... Or not, your death and I'm not crying~" Soba nodded in agreement. It was a sensible plan, and if he and the other shinobi worked on one target, the going would be much faster. As Sai wandered off to distract the worm again, the creature crawled off of the ninja it had fallen on. The shinobi got up, and continued chanting as if nothing had happened. These zombie bastards, thought Soba, It's like they feel no pain...."Okay i'm goin' after you worm bait guy!!" Now no longer afflicted by the confusion brought on by the earlier impact, Soba charged at the ninja who got hit by the worm, arm blazing with chakra. The Divine Gear Fist found its mark, this time connecting with the ninja's upper body because the barrier altered the punch's course. Soba heard the air leave the man's lungs as he flew back a few feet.
"And that's how we cook where i come from, a la fried fist!"

Fuyu was rather disappointed in his last efferts but wasn't going to give up that easily. All that it ment was that he needed to try again, and again untill one couldn't battle no more. It was just after his failed strike that he heard someone stating how they all should go after one enemy to quickly bring it down instead of spreading out there attacks and taking longer. It was a smarter move then what they'd been doing and he noticed the one being attack the more, so Fuyu shifted gears to the further chanting shinobi. Him and his clones were about to make there stike, all throwing their wind sickles towards the opponent. A sudden wave of pain from his eyes shifted his attack though, causing the last sickle to go just a little higher then expected and miss completely. That made sense focus on one of the enemies in particular. He had hit the one she was hitting, so that was the one they would be targeting it would seem. She nodded shortly and was about to try an attack similar to the previous ones she had been using when something new happened. She heard a ringing sound, oddly like a little bell, and she looked to her side to see it was coming from the sword her father had given her, maybe she could use some of its power now? She grabbed hold of the relatively small weapon and pulled it free from its sheath. She took a stance and aimed at the enemy before launching from where she was standing and going at the man with full speed bringing the weapon to bear against his barrier and hopefully against him as well. However even with the amount of force she was able to exert with the weapon the barrier held its own against it and forced her aside. Ninja A 1/10 hits Ninja B 2/10 hits Ninja C 7/10 hits

Sorain turned his attention to the third target, which seemed further along than the others. He also noticed that the chakra levels of the beast was steadily growing. It seemed to him that the longer this battle lasted the stronger that thing was going to get. It made it up in his mind that he would go ahead and take one of those muther ******** out with one attack. Aya was watching as things played out again, she didn't have run around like the other in the cave, she was still looking for Phaetom, but as she could only see a small part due to the large worm like creature. She watched at as some of the others around the cave seem to finish off one of the robed men. Aya moved to look at him, spiriting around the edge of the cave and up onto the wall so that she could look for Phaeton a little, she ended up with a clear attack path to another one of the ninja, and took it. Taking in a deep breath, she fulled her lungs with air and chakra, before preforming a set of hand seals and finishing with one near her month, using the jutsu she had before, and another robed person.
As before her flames screech and hit the man, spreading and moving over the barrier again, Aya had to hope her jutsu was weakening it a little.

Sai let out a heavy breath, his crimson eyes glaring the beast down with a devastating viciousness. This process was taking too long and the damn worm just kept getting up, over and over again. Sorain had just only broke one of the barriers to one of the shinobi feeding the worm power and killed him. It wasn't that Sai was ungrateful to it, but the fact of the matter was he knew Sorain could have killed the person a lot sooner then that if he hadn't been bullshitting his offensive earlier. With a sigh he tore himself from his thoughts and redirected his attention back to the worm yet again as the creature rose up and crawled slowly to him. The corpses that were attached to it swiping and slashing at his direction in expectancy for his blood and flesh. "Hn... Come on you big beasty, you." The man chanted as the beast began it's hurdle to him, himself charging at the beast yet again. And once again, the man leaped through the air and disappeared before making contact with the beast. Instinctively the beast threw it's head up to the ceiling of the cave in expectancy to find Sai there again, but this time he wasn't there. Wild with confusion, the beast tossed it's body this way and that, it's tail slinging out randomly at the area around it in hopes to catch Sai if he happened to near. But it was all in vain as the beast wrecked through nothing but stone and air. Calming down slowly, the beast stilled itself and began to growl at a low rumble. Slowly the beast shifted around the area as though it was trying to smell out Sai, and once again it threw it's head to the air but found nothing again and in a fit of fury gnashed its teeth to the air and bashed it's obese body around. In the midst of it's tantrum, a flash of purple and silver streamed through the air from the ceiling above to the worm's head. Instantly the body of the worm catapulted down to the ground below and standing above it was Sai, his foot securely pinning down the hilt of his sword into the beast's head. Turning around quickly to face one of the other ninja in the room, he raised his razor to eye level and shot a single bullet at it. Violently the bullet rang out and pierced the barrier before embedding itself into the man's shoulder. "Tch..."Quote: 99% Ninja A 3/10 hits Ninja B 5/10 hits Ninja C 10/10 hits

Soba backed off of his target as the two genin tried to score a hit. The one using the clones winced in pain as he used the wind sickles, missing the shinobi completely. The female with the blue markings tried using an oar-shaped blade in a frontal attack, just to be pushed aside by the barrier. That damn barrier is strong.... he thought.
Suddenly the Mizukage appeared with his arm outstretched. Using the jutsu he'd used earlier, he blasted the ninja out of existence. Well, there goes one problem. A fiery light from the chamber's entrance caught Soba's attention. Another person had joined the party! The new kunoichi let out a dragon-shaped fire style jutsu, hitting one of the remaining ninjas. I guess that one's the new target. Looks like Wormbait is gonna have to wait a bit longer...
The Chuunin began running towards the new target, firing up his Divine Gear Fist for another strike.
"Hey everyone! This one's the new target!" He ran up behind the robed ninja, pulling back his arm once he was in position.

Soba's punch was blocked by the barrier. It looked as if it was gonna break through, but instead it pushed him back, launching him in the air. He quickly unsummoned the Divine Gear Fist and replaced it with the Divine Three-Gear Shield.
The chuunin hit the wall hard, but the shield absorbed most of the force. This is gonna be a long day...

Fuyu held his head in pain, but it wasn't going to affect him majorly until he stopped using his eyes. He defenately had to figure another way to do this as it was getting annoying this pain was. He looked over to the shinobi in which his attack missed but instead of getting ready to attack him agian, watched as a very powerful jutsu finished him off and took his life. He quickly shifted to the next target, he'd do something after the fight was finished. He could feel his chakra being taxed with how long the clones have been active and starting to get tired alittle. He was going to see the fight all the way through, even if he needed a long rest afterwards. He watched as a fire shinobi used a punch to try and break through the barrier but failed. The hit seemed that it was close though to breaking though. It was time to act quickly. Fuyu and his clones rushed towards the new target and slashed the wind sickle jutsu towards the chanting shinobi, jumping out of the way after they were finished. Seven of the eight attacked were defended against but the eighth one made its way threw and gave a nasty cut to the shinobi as he continued to chant on. She closed in on the target after the others launched their attacks and now leveled her blade to strike at him again, the blue chakra along the blade hummed and glowed lightly making the oar shaped blade look as if it were reflecting moonlight before she brought it around in a hard swing to try and slice through her target. Her blade sliced easily through the aura, however it held enough to alter her aim and sent her off to the side making her strike barely miss the man within the barrier. She snarled angrily and jumped away so as to not get caught in the way of the others attacks. Ninja A 4/10 hits Ninja B 5/10 hits - Ninja C 10/10 hits

After noticing that one of the three had successfully been taking down by his last strike Sorain quickly turned his focuse to his next target. He was trying to sweep through these as quickly as he possibly could to reduce the chances that the worm would smash into the foundation of the shaft and send this entire thing rumbling. Although he was sure that he would be able to make it out fine he did not to have to ensure that the rest managed to get out. Although it would seem that they are able to manage themselves at the moment he still did not want to take any chances. Sorain took a quick step forward, charging lightning into his body mixed with his void before fireing off another attack directed at the middle of the men.
