"Can you?!" Cassidy said, getting excited over something for the first time in a long time when she saw Lana pick up the book. She flinched, thinking she was getting way too worked up. "Sorry... I got excited." Cassidy said sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head.

"It's really that simple? Thought it would have been somehow more complicated than that.." Cassidy said, a hint of happiness inher voice. Concentrating didn't seem that hard, but it would still taker her a while, of that Cassidy knew. Picking out a random book, Cassidy concentrated on grabbing it. She was able to pull the book off the shelf, but only held it for a second. It fell through her hand and landed on the floor with a THUD. "Oops..."

"Hide!" She whisper-yelled. The librarian was coming and they needed to hide quickly.

"Eep!" Cassidy squeaked. She quickly looked around. There were a few chairs that someone could easliy hide behind, and she darted to the nearest one. She knelt down behind it, but knew if the librarian turned she would be seen. Cassidy closed her eyes and concentrated, fading away from view but still in the room.

"I'm just well nervous about being at a new school and well the whole seeing ghosts thing isn't really a normal thing you know. It's nice to have found someone else who see's them to. I thought I was the only one." She looked away as she took a breath.

Lana faded away. She saw the librarian come over and pick up the book. "Hmm weird." the librarian said.

Cassidy peered around the corner of the chair she was hiding behind to watch the librarian. She liked the librarian, who was always friendly. Cassidy saw the title of the book flash by. Song of the Sparrow by Lisa Ann Sandell. It had been the last book Cassidy checked out. 'Uh-oh.'

She watched the librarian walk back to her desk with a tear in her eye. She became visible again and watched the librarian. "I think I had her as a librarian."

Cassidy reappeared as well. She smilied sadly. "That's Ms.Welden... I know I had her as a librarian. She's one of my favorite people at this school." Cassidy said, rubbing at her eye. It was burning, but not watering.

Cassidy had to laugh at that. No one she knew had any idea how old Ms.Weldon was and Cassidy thought it was rude to ask. "That's probably right.. She was here for as long as I was. She's one of the nicest people I've ever met!" Cassidy said, laughing again.

"Never been married and she has 5 kids! They all teach here too! Or at least did." She made her self visible to humans.

"Five kids?! Now that's something I never knew. I don't remember any Weldons other than the Ms.... But they might not be going by the same name. The things you learn later on." Cassidy said, standing back up.

"Ya, they have to be at least maybe 40." She walked around the table and sat down. She was still visible and wanted to act normal.
