Jarlaxle laughed a bit and smiled at her, "They don't count." He looked into her eyes with his glowing purple eyes and smiled, "Besides, I love you..."

Sapphire smiled and looked into his eyes. She smiled even more when he said he loved her. "I love you too..." she said softly and smiled.

Jarlaxle's smile got bigger and he nodded slightly before he kissed her lips softly again.

Sapphire smiled ad hugged him back tighter. While in his arms, she drifted off to sleep.

Jarlaxle laughed a bit and smiled as he pulled the blankets over them. He held her in his arms and he closed his eyes, "Sleep well, Sapphire."

Jarlaxle opened his eyes and smiled at Sapphire before he slid out of bed. He looked around a bit with his glowing eyes and he walked over to the trunk again. He slowly opened it and picked up the gem that he was looking at yesterday. He laid down on the ground and held the gem above his face. He analyzed the gem as he brought it closer to his eyes, hoping the glowing would create the correct lighting to see any symbols on it. He knew there was something special about it, he just couldn't figure out what it was. If he could any symbols on it, then he could research on what the symbols stand for and find out what the gem did and how to use it for his personal use.

Sapphire had been awake for some time now, but she didn't want to get up. She would glance over at Jarlaxle every once in a while. He was looking at that gem again. "Hun do you wannt me to help you with it? I am good at decifering symbols..." she said softly as she sat up and turnned on the lights.

Jarlaxle blinked when she turned the lights on and he moved the gem. He looked up at her and smiled, "Well, I have to find the symbols first. I can't seem to find any. It is actually getting annoying."

Jarlaxle sat up and smiled at her as he held the gem up, "We don't have to do this if you don't want to. I will find it soon. The symbol can only be hidden so well."

Jarlaxle shook his head and laughed a bit, "I don't have any magic. I can only use shadow powers. I don't think it will help though."
