Ethan sucked in a deep breath then looked down at her. "Okay. I'll tell you." He said.

Ethan stayed quiet for a second. "I want to tell you something." He said, staring down at her. "And it's something very important. And I want you to know that I'm serious when I tell you this." He said then took in a deep breath and stared down straight into Emily's eyes. "I....I love you." He said to her, the words slipping out quickly and suddenly it felt like a million pounds had been lifted off of his heart.

Emily looked up him in shocked. "Ethan, I........I don't know what to say," She as she droped her head and let her hair fall and cover her face.

Ethan looked away a bit upset. She doesn't know what to say. How about 'I love you too'? He thought in his mind but then looked down at her. "You don't have to say anything. I said how I feel and if you don't feel the same way then that's fine." He added a touch of lie to the sentence at the very end because he wished that she did feel the same way. But of course he wasn't about to speak up about that.

Emily looked up at him and said,"No i'm sorry. I just....... Nobody's ever said that to me. And i was just caught off gaurd, and, i'm just, i'm.........," She sighed trying to get the words out. "I..........I love you too," She said kind of rushed.

Ethan looked down. He noticed that she was trying to say the words and when she did it was rushed, liked she was trying to get it over with. "Do you mean it?" He asked her, looking away.

She put her hand on his cheek and forced him to look her, while she said, "Of course i do. It's not everyday i get to confess my love for someone." She winked at him.

Ethan smirked, slightly, still a little unconvinced that she meant it. But he knew she did or at least she hoped and prayed to the gods she did. "I've had about five girlfriends in my life so far. And all of them I've dated for about a year but none of them I've told that to. You're the first girl I've said 'I love you' to." He confessed.

Ethan blushed with her response. "Yeah, I was, uh, popular in the dating section at my school you could say." He said, blushing an even darker red. "I had my first kiss a long time ago. But I was a little kid when it happened."
