For the first time, Storm didn't have a dream of her and Nikoli wandering around aimlessly. She dreamt of her and Kyuusei in paradise together when he drops down, dead.
"Kyuu! Kyuu!" She yelled out but there was no answer. She howled up to the sky in anguish, but there was no sign of anyone to help her. All that was there was Nikoli, standing there with an evil grin on his face. "No! Not you Nikoli!

Kyuu neve dreamed really and made himself a light sleeper so he could wake up when he had to but this time he was awoken by the whimpers of storm.

Storm woke up violently and looked at the sky; she wasn't asleep very long. Her fur was covered in sweat and she was panting hard. She looked over and saw Kyuusei awake.
"Proliknat," she swore under her breath. "Sorry Kyuu; I don't know what came over me." She stood up and went to the window, which was a little cooler. "Guess I can't shake the human out of me."

Storm looked over at him and smiled,not hesitating to walk back to him. There was just something about him that made her want to obey. She layed down next to him again and licked under his muzzle, a sign of admiration and respect.
"Dreaming ain't all it's cracked up to be Kyuu. It's a nuisance. Especially when they're just going in a circle." She looked up at him, then felt her eyes droop as her tail curled around his leg.

He let her lick him. It was good to feel affection from someone and he laid his head close to hers and tried to stay awake to comfort her if she had another night mare but he gently dozed off with her but still no dream.

 Noctis had fallen asleep just a bit after he'd laid down, he didn't really move when he was asleep.  Sylvia watched as the two wolves left, taking the empty bowl over to the rest of the dirty dishes. She saw that one of the new guys looked a bit worried and went over and sat by Nikoli, "You alright?"

Nikoli looked up at Sylvia and smiled.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little...peeved...that Storm wandered off without telling me. When you travel with the same person for nearly two years, you feel bad when they aren't around you." He sighed as he stood up. "I'm debating whether I should try to find her."

Sylvia nodded thoughtfully, "Yeah, I know how that feels.." she said before turning and throwing a spoon at Noctis' head, "Oay, go see where his friend is." Noctis gave an annoyed glance over at Sylvia, for both waking him and for telling him to check on the other wolf, but figured it'd be a bit quieter outside. "Fine...." he said as he got up and headed out. Sylvia sighed lightly as he left and looked back at Nikoli, "Sometimes a bit of space is a good thing...with friends like them anyway.." she looked down at the floor, unsure of exactly how she felt about wolves at the moment..now that he was gone..

"You didn't have to do that Sylvia," Nikoli said, feeling bad. "I mean, I don't like the mutt, but I was sure that Storm would come back. She's usually good about that."
Storm woke up instantly, her wolf senses telling her a wolf was coming.
Damn it Nikoli. She checked to see if Kyuusei was still sleeping, then walked outside to the cold to wait for Noctis.

Noctis easily followed the scent of the two wolves and soon found Storm outside of one of the houses that remained, "Your human was curious as to where you were..." was all he offered as an explanation and a sort of question.. Sylvia nodded, "I know...but I need some space from him for a little bit longer...it wasn't his fault, but still.. pop's got killed by those gunman from the train while we were waiting for Noctis and that girl.." she explained as she kept her gaze on the floor.

Kyuusei was sleeping lightly til he felt Storm move next to him. He was groggy but snapped to attention when the smell of an alpha wolf was coming close. He stepped outside and saw Storm but stayed out of sight then notice the Alpha scent was Noctis.

"Damn him," she repeated her earlier thoughts. "I'm fine; he doesn't need to know more than that. I'll be back in the morning. Tell him to keep his nose in his own business." She yawned, but stayed alert as long as Noctis was there. She felt another presence and knew by the smell it was Kyuusei.
He's funny, she thought. But it's nice to have someone care about me.
"I'm sorry Sylvia." was all that Nikoli could say. He never knew that kind of pain. He hesitated, but he put his arm around her shoulder in a comforting manner.

Although Noctis probably knew he was there and listening he decided to go back inside and rest. He didn't know weather Storm was going to come back but he hoped she did.

"Fine... don't do anything naughty now kids..." Noctis added with a smirk as he caught Kyuusei's scent as well, then he turned back toward the warehouse, passing the message along to one of the gang members before walking away and jumping to of the tallest intact buildings. Sylvia leaned toward Nikoli slightly in the response, "Thanks.." she said softly before one of her 'brothers' came closer. ~"Hey, uh, Noctis said that Storm will be back in the morning and he headed off to his usual spot."~ "Alright, thanks Jack.."
