She stared down at their hands, her fingers twitching lightly at the warmth from his hand, she tilted her head slightly in reaction to seeing the red stream of light going straight into the bracelet, she looked up at him as he mentioned her having a strong hand, and no wamrth. she raised a brow as if in slight confusion "well that normally comes with the "vampiric" package". She knew that wasn't what he was aiming for, but it was an avoidable answer.

However, her eyes widened slightly and she gazed down back at the bracelet, Lucia was terrible with hiding her emotions and it was true her facial features tended to give her away. She lowered her head slightly as more of his questions came, one after the other, her left eye hidden beneath her long fringe, she was sensitive of her origin and didn't like being picked up on it, "when people touch me it feels weird, because of the warmth. To some like me i guess it's uncomfortable."

As an answer to the "Sensitive of her origin" she simply said "maybe" as a slight mumble and nothing more, Lucia tried to avoid most of the questions and stared at the bracelet trying to avoid eye contact, she felt quite mixed up at this moment, angry, upset, frustrated, however not at Heyen for asking, it seemed to be more on the subject of the questions.

He should have felt awkward asking so many questions but he wasn't. Instead, after the transcation was madae to her bracelet he even stroked the back part of her hand, giving her a warm smile. "I guess decades of coldness would do that..but,"

"Heyen. You think I can leave now?" A female worker's voice chimed in, but Heyen didn't turn around to meet her gaze. Never losing eye contact with Lucia, Heyen replied with a somewhat unfriendly tone, "Go ahead, Love." He never got a response back, nor did the female move away after moments of silence. Heyen released Lucia's hand and pulled back.

"You know, if you want a place to stay there are rooms in West Sanctum available. If you take the skyway outside of the tavern you could get there faster rather than walking in the rain...I just hope you aren't afraid of going through the storm in such a thing. I can assure you that it's safe..."

Lucia blinked a few times as he stroked the back of her hand, she nodded "i guess it does..." her gaze shifted to the female worker who had approached and asked if she could leave, Lucia was quite surprised that she wanted to go home in such weather, not alot of people enjoyed the rain. Raisinng her head a bit more as she realized Heyen had no intention of looking at the girl.

His voice also didn't seem so friendly, the woman remained standing there no giving a reply, it was damn right weird and confused Lucia as her gaze switched between Heyen and the female worker, feeling his hand part from hers, Lucia looked at Heyen and listened as he spoke "hmm" she hummed thinking about it. She didn't mind walking in the rain at all.

Lucia loved the rain so she didn't mind at all, it was only water anyway. "i'd be safe any route i take" she winked and shrugged "by the way, i like the rain" getting up from the seat she thought she should probably get moving, it'd been a long day and she did seem tired. "guess i will get moving, but i'll come back for that devilish drink again at some point."

The door opened rather harshly when a couple (male and female) of uniformed people came in. The man wore a blue coat that framed his body well, a yellow chord looped around a strap over his left shoulder and reached into the a pocket on the man's left breast. His blue slacks were dripping like the rest of his uniform but he kept from shivering or showing any kind of discomfort. The female wore basically the same attire but wore a skirt that reache a few inches down her hips, though her legs were kept hidden behind black leather leggings. Her chord was red.

The worker that Heyen had released had paused at the door, and remained speechless as one of the uniformed (the female) spoke to her. She had nodded, and the SDD member gestured the man beside her with a nod. The worker had then been taken outside by the male SDD, and closed the door behind them.

Most of the tavern once again grew quiet as the woman sighed heavily, her long brunette hair soaked and unbefitting for one her rank, but in such rain it couldn't be helped. "Heyen."

Heyen had turned his gaze away from Lucia the moment the door had been opened, and his eyes narrowed in the slightest when he saw the officers. Once he was called he turned to Lucia and smiled. "Maybe next time we can share the drink and spend more time together and get to know each other and other things.." he winked. "I hope you come again soon, though. Take care of yourself, alright?" His usual flirtatious tone had depleted as if he was trying to force it this time. He moved around Lucia and headed to the backroom, where he gestured for the female to follow.

Lucia's gaze also shifted to the door as the two figures came in, Lucia glanced up at Heyen for a moment noticing his expression and the way he narrowed his eyes. She turned attention back to the to people who had stepped in, they seemed to be in the same kind of wear, maybe a uniform? Lucia raised a brow continuing to stare, who they were was the only question playing in her mind.

The sudden silence in the air gave her chills and rather annoyed her, it was then Lucia noticed the female worker Heyen had dismissed earlier pause before them and then after a few words was taken outside by the man out of the two, certainly becoming uncomfortable now, Lucia hopped off her chair and stood up straight, her gaze moving back to Heyen as his name was called.

Lucia frowned as he looked at her and smiled, it felt like anger but she hid it in her now clenched fist, "why have you got that expression" she asked in a rather curious yet demanding tone also dropping the subject, "stop giving me fake expressions...who are they?" she growled grabbing his wrist quickly and staring up at him with an intense glare, the discomfort was raging her, the silence, even Heyen.

Just who were they...Lucia's grip tightened before she let go and sighed, "sorry vampire moment" she huffed and walked passed him, she looked back at him and gave him a smile "i'll take you up on that Heyen" she chuckled and gave a wink. Lucia continued walking, giving the brunette a glare as she walked past. Maybe she was over reacting, but it couldn't be helped.

She walked to the door and opened it, a gush of wind coming at her and swaying her long pink hair, she stepped outside feeling the rain fall upon her and smiling slightly, though shaking her head she looked around to see if she could see they man who had taken one of Heyen's female workers, she hadn't been out there long and she was practically soaked already.

"Come on, can't we move faster?! It's cold out here!" The worker cried out, holding her self with her arms in the same time of keeping herself decent due to the rain, but the uniformed man seemed uninterested in idling her body out.

But once Lucia stepped back outside he turned to her, his expression stoic. "..Do you need an escort as well.." He paused, "..Vampire." His tone was nonchalant if not robotic. His body was stiff as if he was told to always be alert or prepared. On the right side of his uniform (on his right breast) was a crimson coated badge with the letters 'SDD' engraved in the metal.

Lucia flicked her head round to the sound of an unhuman odd sounding voice, the large built figure catching her eye along with the thin woman, the woman seemed to be in a hurry however the man...well Lucia didn't know how to read him...he confused her and something about him didn't seem human, prohaps he was one of those trained humans.

To act like dogs and roam the streets bringing "safety" and "peace" to the people, others called them officers. Lucia frowned as he mentioned her being a vampire, was it really that obvious...guess they'd seen quite a few a fair share of vampires. Lucia long hair was soaked and stuck to her frame, her fringe practically covering her eyes. "no" she answered.

The SDD man kept his stare at her for the longest time, the worker beside him arguing that she didn't need an escort home and walked towards the skyway at the side of the tavern. But even when she entered she waited.

"..Becareful." The man warned Lucia before walking past her and joining the tavern employee in the Skyway. With a heated hiss the two were shot through the shielded tube and towards the living quarters in West Sanctum.

Lucia stared back, rather now concerned as to why people were needing escorts. Was this town that bad? Her gaze shifted to the employee oh give it a rest Lucia hissed in her head to the womans constant moaning and then stopped as if she was waiting for the guy, Lucia now had a frowned confused look "what was the point in that" she grumbled under her breath.

Lucia watched the guy walk passed and went to continue walking herself when she heard the warning. Lucia stopped and turned to look at him, she looked around the streets and then at the floor, water dripping from her fringe as her clothes and hair clung to her. "becareful huh?" her fist tightened and she continued walking "who do you think i am" she said in an almost silent grumble.

Dark dropped off his board not long after Inukai soared off. He landed along the slick cement, and slowly skid to a stop not too far from the tavern entrance and turned to see Inukai back to being a human.

His board seemed to have sailed through the gloomy filled streets before breaking in flames.

"That's..good and all but lets try to keep that to ourselves." Dark insited, his brows showing some slight concern. In truth Dark could be a nice guy when it came to things but he wouldn't want that brought out. When it did he'd either try to ignore it or call it a lie. Most of the time he'll ignore it.

He turned away from Inukai, and called out. "Yo, Pink-hair!" That what it looked like in the rain. With her clothes stuck to her skin as well as her hair he wondered how long she had been out here and if she was waiting for something. "...." He scratched the back of his head, then turned to Inukai. "Think we should bring her inside?"

Dark, I must speak to you.

The demon wasn't sure why that was to be kept between them, but he just nodded as he landed not too far from where Dark had and also looked toward the one that was in the street. He raised a brow at Dark, "..yeah, it's not good to stay out in this weather..but that didn't really sound like the right way to call someone.." he said, then looked back to the girl.
He shuffled his wings a bit and walked toward the girl, he'd have to get used to talking to others besides Dark if was to learn more about human and other humanoid beings. "Miss, you'll get sick if you stay out in the rain like this.. will you come inside with us?" he asked with a kind and honestly worried look on his face. ..that was something he'd have to work on, his emotions were shown on his face like a obvious open book that even a child would understand.

"It's not like I know her name.." Dark countered as he stood where he was, keeping his aura spheralized ( Yeah it's not a word but it sounds cool.) around him to keep him from getting wet. Extending it to their general direction would prove too difficult so he wasn't going to.

Alright, now what do you want, Old Man? Dark thought, re-establishing connection with the mayor.

You must come to Central Sanctum. Heyen is already here, as well as members of the SDD.

The SDD? Wh--

Everything will be explained but you must come now.

"......" The elderly vampire sure stressed that last sentence, and his voice was filled with such dangerous excitement that it made Dark wonder way too heavily.

He idly tapped his hip with a finger, and looked into the tavern. So Heyen isn't here. There goes there best cook but I'm sure he left someone good enough to keep the customers satisfied. He thought while turning his direction back towards Inukai and the pink-haired girl.

He supposed it was his time to go already. Whatever the mayor wanted to talk to him about sounded important.

He stepped inside of the tavern, ignoring the fumes of alchohol and walked towards the substitute owner before returning back outside to see Inukai still with the pink-haired.

"Food and drinks will be on me, you two. If you're hungry then don't worry about it, just eat. I'll have to be leaving for a bit Inukai, and I can't have you following me this time." He informed, leaping off the ground and landing on the roof of the Dragon's Nest. "I'll return. Take care of yourself."

And with that he leapt from building to building towards Central Sanctum.

(I'll be leaving now and return another day. Have fun.)

Lucia hadn't moved at all from where she stood before having a moment with the SDD, she was wondering why she was just standing there but the answer didn't come so she remained there thinking about it, she then suddenly flicked her head up to spot the rather dark figures before her as she heard one call out, since she was the only one around and had pink hair she assumed he was addressing her.

She didn't like the reference to get her attention by her hair colour and ended up once again with a frown across her brow. One of them she had noticed had wings and he was approaching her, Lucia stepped one foot back slowly as if getting herself in position to defend herself just in case. Though his expression showed worry and concern and she didn't feel so tense. She shook her head and smiled.

"i just came from there, i'm meant to be heading to the west sanctum" she couldn't help but chuckle as he spoke of her getting sick and smiled. "i'll be fine, my immune system is not so weak" she was cold skinned as it was, the raindrops felt like pins against her skin, cold clashing with cold caused her to shiver slightly.

Inukai glanced back as Dark spoke to them, then left..briefly wondering if he was going to do something dangerous.. He quickly returned his attention back to the girl, saying that she'd already been to the tavern and her immune system wasn't so weak... still, with what he all saw around Dark he didn't think it would be safe to leave someone wander alone, well that..and he was a bit clingy now..
The demon noticed as she shivered slightly from the rain and stepped a bit closer, arching a wing over her to block the rain. "It's still not safe to move around alone when it's like this.. Will you at least let this one escort you to where you're going?" he asked.
Sure he did have to eat eventually, but he could last another couple of days without anything so he was fine for now. Inukai thought that helping this rain-soaked girl was slightly more important then eating human-made foods that he wasn't even sure of yet.
Yet again Inukai's face showed slight worry for the girl, he'd help out and protect the residents until Dark came back from whatever he was doing.
