"... What's this 'Mastermind' you're going on about?..."Kael chuckled as he stopped in his tracks and looked back at Kay.
"He is my oh-so lovely boss and the reason why all of you darling immortals are here. Just so all of you lovelies know, my name is Kael... I would appreciate it if you would stop calling me 'Mr. Guardy', especially you Kay... By the way, I'm not a guard. I just do some of their duties so no one ******** up. I am pretty much second in command here...Just Thought I should make that clear."He said making eye contact with Kay, before quickly looking away. He then started to walk again.

Kay made no show of even pretending to like him. His attitude was horrid and made her want to punch him repeatedly in the face till he was crapping out teeth. What made it worce was the way that he was so cheerful about the whole thing. He had made no moves to tell them anything of importance and was merely taking them for a stroll down crud lane. "I'll call you whatever the hell I want, bi***! If you two are so pally-pally, you should be able to get me face to face with him so that I can kick the s**t out of him" Despite not likeing how things had turned out for the moment, Kay had no choice but to follow him if she wanted to find out who was behind it all. That was if he was actually taking them th right way.

The fights between the guards and the rest of the immortals had mostly finished in each sector that had contained the prisoners. Some fights had ended with all the immortals gaining a bullet to their head while others had ended with the guards being overpowered and some immortals had mannaged to get the collars off through the use of one of the seven keys. They had gone wild, slaughtering guards on sight eager for some fun or revenge. Two of them had systematically worked their way down corridors, killing anyone in a uniform. Rounding a corner, they found Jansen and Keileigh coming towards them. "Haha, another one. You get the girl. I'll take down the big guy."With that said, the taller one closed his eyes. Just as soon as the temeperature dropped, the shorter one pointed at the wall. A wrenching sound was heard before the wall exploded with liquid metel which settled in a cloud round his body. He pointed at Jensen and the metel fired down the hall at him.

"Flip," said Kaileigh as the temperature dropped. This wasn't good. If the temperate dropped to much any water she called out would freeze and be useless to fight with. Just her lucky the first people they came upon could do that. Kaileigh could feel the water still moving in a pipe below and with a quick jerk of her hand made the water break throught the pipe and floor. Hopefully it wasn't too cold yet.

 Lt. Jansen Cygnar ”Fear monger” Nice! Rotting dogs, man this guy has a nice fear. Jansen Dived out the way of the metal blob flying his way, it wasn't as fast as a bullet, more like a thrusting knife than a bullet. He steadied himself as Kaileigh burst a pipe Bellow her feet to get to the water inside, he didn't need a pipe though, all Jansen needed was a fear. " Kaileigh! Do NOT panic, stay focused if you know what I mean. We can beat these guys, they are nothing!!" Jansen shouted to up her adrenaline and get her confidence on the rise, the last thing he wanted to do was traumatise his only backup. " Come on then you pieces of s**t! Do you know who you're picking on here!!?" He was pissed off, it always happened before a fight, usually because he didn't want to fight but obviously that soon changed. Jansen looked the metal user in the eyes and raised his hand up towards him, the ground in front of Jansen erupted as what looked like three large partially rotted dobermans clambered out. Their large teeth were stained red, what was left of their fur was pitch black and matted. One was missing its eyes, while another had no skin on its head reveiling all of its teeth without the option of hiding them. " They won't harm you Kaileigh. Just focus on taking out that ice user." Further reassurance was never a bad thing and Jansen knew that's how she needed to feel.

Kaileigh simply nodded her head at Jansen's remark. He was right. The last thing she needed to do was to get paniced especially with Jansens powers being what they were that would completely throw her down the toilet. She took a deep breath centering herself. The water coming out of the pipe wasn't freezing yet so she didn't have to worry. She made the spiral around her giving her reassureance then threw her both her hands forward making the fly forward at her attacker at amazing speed.

Jayna didn't make any more pretense of liking Kael than Kay did, but she knew that if the guard chose he could lead them into a fatal trap. "Cool it, Kay." Jayna put her hand on the other girl's shoulder. "Remember, he's one of them. He could just as easily put those damned collars back on us as help us." Even while she was speaking, Jayna could feel the heat from her powers welling up behind her eyes and in her arms. If the guard did anything to her and Kay, she didn't know if she could control what would happen. She just hoped they would get where they were going before she did something she didn't want to.

Kael couldn't help but smirk at Kay's remarks.
"That's where we're going sweetheart..." He said before turning to Jayna.
"...He could just as easily put those damned collars back on us as help us..."
"Don't forget that, Jayna darling..." Kael repiled, giving Jayna one of his infamous eye flashes before the sound of heavy footsteps coming from the direction they were heading reached his ears.
"Lay low...!"He muttered loud enough for each of them to hear and soon enough a low ranking guard could be seen. The guard hadn't spotted them yet.

"Don't call me 'darling', Kael," Jayna muttered, ignoring the eye flash, "I could just as easily kill you before you could put the color back on me, so don't you forget it either." She heard the footsteps approaching just as Kael gave the muttered order to "lay low". Instinctually, she slid into a crouch, pulling Kay lower as well. "Sorry, Kay. Not the best idea ta be standing right now."

"See I can be trusted... For now..."
Kael stepped towards the guard and a cruel, sadistic look came over his face.
"Aren't you supposed to be recapturing the escaped immortals?!" He spat out, striking fear into the guard.
"K-k-kael s-s-sir...! I...I..." But before the poor guy could finish Kael drew his katana and cut him down in one swift movement, the body hit the ground with a wet thud. Kael then turned and looked back at the girls, holding out his arm and bowing slightly.
"Ladies first..." He said the cruel look melting away and replaced by a sly grin.

Jayna looked from Kael to the dead guard, back to Kael, and then to Kay. She already didn't trust Kael, and even though he'd just killed a guard--a man who was supposedly on the same side as him--she trusted him even less when she saw the sly grin spread across his face. Jayna sent a silent question to Kay through the guarded expression in her eyes. Should we follow him further?

I smell me a sandwich
The sudden spatt between Kaim and the two girls was suddenly interupted by the presence of a guard coming round the corner. Kaim moved round to meet the guard and instead of acting like a resposible boss, he screamed in his face instead.Seconds after he turned away, Kaim cut him down from behind with the sword strapped to his waist. Kay watched the scene in disbelief. Was he really this cruel? Not only did he cut the man down, but he turned back round to face the two of them with a grin plastered on his face that was decidedly sly and evil at the same time. Catching Jayna's look Kay merely nodded in what she hoped was what she was thinking. Standing back up, Kay helped Jayna back up before grabbing her and dragging her through the wall into a room not directly connected to the hall they had been in. Thankfully it was empty of anyone living, with food left sitting on tables littered across the floor. They had ended up in the guards rest room where most had been relaxing before the alarms had gone off. "We should be safer here. Sorry for dragging you so suddenly. I just wanted to get away from that man. No doubt he'll find us soon so if you want to grabb anything to eat, now's your chance." With that said, she gave in to the hunger that had started gnawing at her since the collars had been released. Digging into a sandwich still in it's casing, Kay let out a small moan of pleasure. Never before had food been so tasty.

Jayna was surprised enough when Kay grabbed her and pulled her through the wall, but that the other girl was now just eating as if she hadn't just seen a man killed and passed through solid steel almost knocked her off her feet. Jayna stared at Kay. "What the hell was that?!" She knew that Kay was an Immortal like her, but she hadn't expected that type of a power!

A fight to remember.
The two immortals stopped their attacks to watch in horror and shock as the rotted dogs burst out of the ground. The ice user watching the water flow round the girl, while the metal user stared at the dogs nervously. The metal hovered uncetatly in the air as the metal user flicked his eyes at the two others. "Simon, Stop freezing them both. They're not with the guards, I think. Hey! You two with the guards?" Flicking his fingers towards him, Barry called the metal, causing it to roll across the floor and rest at his feet in a single fist sized ball. Equaly, Simon closed his eyes again, willing the ice to dissappear, evaporating into the air. "So what are you two doing in this side. I thought everyone else had went to the exit. Well I say that, but there were others that went their own ways, but I didn't see you two in those groups.... so where did you two come from?"

Kay looked up at Jayna, swallowing the mouthful before speaking. "What the hell was what? If you're talking about the walking through walls, it's what I do, other than teleporting. Thinking about it, this is the first I've told anyone here my power. I can pass through any solid object at will and take others with me. I can take others with me when I teleport as well." Streaching as she stood up, Kay picked up a biscuit from the table and put it into her pocket for later. "Shall we go before Mr Guardy shows up again?"

A few seconds after Kay and Jayna had spirited through the wall, Kaim's earpiece pinged softly and started communicating. "~Kaim. I think you've had enough fun messing with the immortals. I'm can get you to restrain those two at some other point, but right now I want you to eliminate two different ones. They managed to hack one of the terminals and have got their hands on some information that I don't want to get leaked. They are just outside the labs, back the other way you came. Make sure that they do not survive, but do not harm Jansen or Keileigh.Those are your orders. Now hurry up.~" The harsh crackling voice that always came from the speaker cut out, leaving Kaim to carry out the given orders as best he could.

Kailiegh threw back her hands making the water turn up and fly back to her. It corled around her like a snake ready to go back to attacking at an moment. Kaileigh looked the two over again, "We're not with any guards," said Kaileigh debating how much to really say but what was the harm and saying what they were after, "We came this way to see if there was any information on why we were here to beginning with."

"Yes sir, I'll be there as fast as I can..." Kael replied before he turned and stepped over the dead guard's body that was bleeding out profusely, making his way back the way he, Kay and Jayna came.
"I'll get those girls later..." He growled before spotting the little group. Kael didn't flinch when he saw the rotting dogs and he soon joined Jansen and Kailiegh.
"Why, hello again... Long time no see, eh?" He said with a smirk.
