Kurumii Harlequin Hearted Hello all, just thought I'd pop in.
To add to the discussion, I agree about how sick it sometimes is how marketers take advantage of horrible things in order to make money. Not only that, but it publicizes them, leading certain types to have more support than others.
I mean, how many wealthy people do you see donating their charity money to a Lymphoma organization, or one for Melanoma, or Carcinoid (which I will admit, I even had never heard of until I saw it on the ribbon thread)?
Nope, most of the time it's to Breast and Lukemia.
Now, I'm not saying that they don't deserve support or anything, I'm just saying that there's other types of cancers out there. All of them are tragedies, and it's a shame that some of them get pushed out of people's minds, just because they don't get media coverage or their own special tic-tac. 
Seriously! I just saw two comercials about breast cancer! One on some famous lady supporting and asking for support, and another on what foods may held or hinder your goal to stay from it. IN A ROW!!!

I probably shouldn't be saying this until we know for sure, and I am probably quite morbid...but his wording was that it got his cousin. So I'd like to pray that anyone hurt by this illness will find peace and learn to overcome their great difficulties, and to look at life positively so that they can help others do the same.

So I'd like to pray that anyone hurt by this illness will find peace and learn to overcome their great difficulties, and to look at life positively so that they can help others do the same. Yeah. I had to think for several moments before I posted. I was thinking that maybe he got his cousin and this cancer mixed around. But idk. If he did pass away, may his soul rest in peace in the aferlife.
