Adonia looked up, her face brightening. Her face was bright as the sun, from the news Lyra had just told her. She stood, and gave Lyra a bone-crushing hug. She released her, staggering slightly, with a white grin that stretched from ear to ear. It was a little uncomfortable, but she wore it proudly. She started pacing the cabin, hyped up now, but that might have been her ADHD. This meant they were practically done with this ordeal! It was a welcome change. She laughed, sitting back down and thinking before talking to Lyra.

She had been shut up in her cabin for days, or had been comforting Gabriel and feeling guilty about the whole thing. She looked around the cabin, knowing Lyra probably felt uncomfortable in there. She herself, could feel the powerful aura this cabin broadcasted, and she felt a little embarrassed by it. She glanced at Lyra, and though her friend was smiling awkwardly, she couldn't help but feel a little guilty.

"Sorry, about the cabin and...everything. But I can't help but feel happy that this is over...at least for us. And I don't really know if I can stay in this cabin anymore." She said quietly, and for the first time, she felt oddly calm, as though she had gained her control, and was merely peaceful. She stood, stretching and yawning, and gestured towards the door, her eyes squinting in the bright light the sun cast through the door.

"Do you want do something? Like I said, I can't stay stuck in this cabin, and you're obviously uncomfortable here." She said, her eyes slowly adjusting to the light. Perhaps they could visit Claire, whom Lyra had probably not seen lately, and the three of them could just have some time to themselves and not worry about anything else. The boys could probably just brawl it out over whatever. She felt a little guilty as she thought it, but she couldn't help but wish everything could be done in the simplest way possible. She stopped for a second, almost trampling Lyra, and frowning. There was something... important, she had to tell them. It was hazy...but there. Something nagging her in the back of her mind, telling her it needed to be said.

She rubbed her chin, trying to remember what it was. Something important....something bad...bad... Perhaps it was just a feeling? No, she was positive something she had seen was important enough to warn her friends about. Well...maybe not. She sighed, and shook her head a few times. Well, best not to dwell on the past, and if anything, what they all had gone through for the past few days had definitely proved it.

One thing. Never, ever, ever, without really wanting to, allow Adonia to hug you. The hug made one of her bones snap, but it was impossible to really hear that, unless you were the person who's back was being cracked. She put on a half-smile, and tried to breathe while the hug crushed her lungs. After escaping the hug, she sat back in the uncomfortable chair. She was unsure of when the son of Boreas was supposed to come, why have a pizza, anyways. But she stayed patient. She nodded as Adonia spoke, but the asking of doing something she had to refuse. Lyra sighed, she needed to talk to someone else before she could actually clear this whole thing up. "Gabe is supposedly coming soon, he had pizza when I saw him."she said. She had finished the pizza slice when she had walked up to the cabin, and now she hoped the best would really come. She was full, and near the fire her eyes went sleepy. When she was near a flame, she was either at her cabin, or in the armory pounding.

Ah, apologies. They came in quick and left her thinking of pity. She thought Adonia knew her well enough to know that apologies weren't going to get her anywhere but the idea that she was a tense mother with a baseball bat over a little girl's head, Adonia's head. That's why she cried when Kevin apologized to her. She didn't want anyone hurt, yet the main idea of that was impossible to follow. People would get hurt. People would want to feel rage. Now, sitting near the fire and listening to Adonia apologize, it was almost boring. A rerun of a show you had grown old of, pretty much. She stared at Adonia for awhile. "Adonia, don't start with the 'sorry' when you're near me."she told her in a stern voice.

The words hit Adonia like a hammer, and she felt herself cringe. This was not her, she realized. She didn't cringe away when someone yelled at her. What was wrong with her?! She stood, her aura casting off her from every angle, her face hard and determined. Even now, she felt a little more power behind herself. She felt her face flush with energy, and her fingers tingle with electricity. But she wasn't exactly angry, just annoyed.

She had basically gotten down on her knees, to Lyra, to everyone, saying it was all her fault and she was responsible when she knew it wasn't. And now Lyra was scolding her? She was embarrassed to have revealed her weak spot, and she immediately scrapped herself off the floor, trying to regain her composure.
"What do you want me to say? Am I not allowed to be sorry for not seeing you?" she demanded, her promise to keep self-control evaporating. She marveled at her ability to quickly change her mood, and she regretted her temper.

"Please Lyra, educate me. Tell me how I'm supposed to act. Tell me what I'm supposed to say. Change me please so that things will be right." she said, her hands on her hips and her feet spread apart. She reminded herself of herself, when she was a child. Clever, but demanding and impatient. She steadied herself, telling her to take control of her temper, something that seemed apart from her. She took a deep breath, her sharp eyes focusing on Lyra, waiting to hear another one of Lyra's mixed answers. Sometimes she just wished Lyra would tell her she was happy, instead of feeling something and saying something completely different.

She sighed. Sometimes she wondered if she really needed to talk sometimes. Smooth, Lyra. Just smooth. And now Gabe will come in, and all Hades will let loose.she thought to herself. Inside, she rolled her eyes. Though, she was acting stupid. Adonia had been through a lot, and she had been treating her like a little kid. Someone you could push away, and then do your problems before talking to her. And when you did, it would be a stern talk. Full of sighs. Something about the stance of Adonia made her look slightly surprised, was she going to attack her if she didn't tell her what she wanted to hear. Something she didn't want to talk about. Why? Because one, if they were to fight with swords, Adonia would win. Why? Adonia was faster, stronger, and had a better weapon that she had. If they worked with powers, Adonia could use her hands like tazers, and just shock her. Fire isn't good against lightning. Anyways, she wouldn't be able to really dodge, even if Lyra's upside in fighting was defense. It would be more of a fleeing, which she was unable to do in the first place. She couldn't run very fast, because of the metal leg. And if she took it off, she would just lead with more of a hop out the door. In her mind, Lyra hoped this wouldn't become a physical brawl.

She didn't feel like standing up, and it wouldn't be the good thing to do, anyways. Of course, if she stood up she would feel shier than she already was, hesitating with what she said. But, if she remained seated, Adonia might get the wrong idea about her. As if Lyra thought she was so high up that and that Adonia was so juvenile that she couldn't stand up. Which, if you were to list off the years, was completely wrong. Wasn't Adonia like immortal or something along those lines? If you were a defenseless daughter of Zeus, who was pretty much trapped in the worst cabin to be trapped in at the moment. In the authority level, Adonia was winning. If she wanted her out, Lyra would have to leave. If something went wrong, or if Adonia got really mad, she could do whatever she wanted. It was pretty much her cabin, after all. But still, the burden of standing up was pretty hard to do, and she was unsure of what to really do, sit down or stand up.

"Adonia, I know you've been under a lot of pressure. As have I. And I guess I've become slightly narcissistic of myself. That my problems will solve themselves with some time and some words. But, Adonia, I don't want to hear apologies. I've been surrounded by them. I understand that you're sorry for not being there, but I had some shelter. I was fine, and even if you weren't there, I knew you cared. I already knew that you were sorry."she told her. Finally realizing she was rambling, she shut up. She stared back at the Zeus painting, the gray eyes, the same tone of a storm cloud, staring back at her with distaste. She needed to pick out some good words, or she could be electrocuted. She sighed, she was so narcissistic! She was caring more about her life than how her friend was probably feeling. She stared down at her feet, and stood up. "Adonia, you're fine anyway you are. You don't need changing, at all. Even if people tell you that you need to change whatever, they're wrong. Sometimes, it's just, I can't stop thinking about my problems before your own."she told her.

Adonia felt herself slump, and her face turn bright red. She felt like such a brute, and slow and stupid. She wasn't like this! Who was she? She sighed, feeling stupid for not having seen Lyra's true intentions. She stepped forward and shook Lyra's hand, feeling as though she had just lost a game. She didn't want to fight Lyra, and she didn't want to be angry at her. And she certainly didn't want Lyra to feel bad for her. She slumped in her chair, looking a little cross.

The nagging feeling she'd forgotten something important was there again, and she pulled herself away from it.
"Look Lyra, I'm s- well, can we just go back to the normal way things were. At least, as normal had a demigod's life can get," she said wistfully, her eyes dulling to a very light gray. She was calm now, but also a little anxious about something. She felt slow and stupid, and there was no doubt she needed this to stop if she was ever going to go back to being her normal self where she was pretty much just normal, nice, and smart, and nobody minded. She crossed her arms and stared at the fire, her eyes slowly watching the flames.

"Lyra, I know it's stupid, but I feel like I forgot something really important I was supposed to tell you about. And it wasn't about our...situation, it was...something much broader." She frowned, her eyes narrowing as if she were making a decision. She glanced up at Lyra, hoping that this time Lyra would have an answer that encouraged her to know that they were still friends after Adonia's pathetic behavior. She suppressed a smile, and wondered if Gabriel, who Lyra said was coming, would participate in this conversation of memory loss. She felt better when discussing something potentially dangerous. It made life fun.

She sighed, and sunk back into the chair after the handshake. It was a firm one. Thing was, the two were both to much of strong friends that even if they tried to fight, it would be impossible. The obvious winner would be unable to actually attack the other one. Staring back at the fire, the words Adonia was saying haunted her. She remembered Maria Jones, how she spoke about sometimes she had dreams, but she was never able to remember them. Perhaps that was what Adonia seemed to be worried about. The worst thing about demi-gods? No, not the fact you're chased around the country by cannibalistic monsters, or the fact you're immortal parent has a trouble coming to you're sweet sixteen(her father accidentally set her old caretaker's flat on fire), it was the dreams. They were normal people, she guessed, they all had their flaws. But the dreams were so vivid. You could smell things, feel things, and imagine things. But how could Adonia forget a dream like that?

She squirmed in her chair. "Did you have a dream again, Adonia? That might have been something.."she said in a slow voice. "Has something wrong been happening in them?"she asked. Unfortunately for her, she could only see the past. She was able to see the fall of Uranus(not the prettiest sight, she must say), all up to the punishments Mr. D had placed upon mortals. One of the reasons she liked to veer away from the usually cranky god of wine and celebrations, pleasure and homosexuality.

Adonia sat straight up in her chair, alert. The second Lyra said dream, she felt herself go rigid. Yes, it was a dream! A very important one. She racked her brain trying to remember it. "I think... I think it was happening while I was sleeping. In the present you know. I have a lot of dreams in the present, but some in the past too..." she said carefully, trying to remember the dream. It was like trying to cup water in your hands. It just kept slipping through your fingers. She bit her lip, trying to remember the details of the dream. Dark. Okay, good. And something else. Stolen perhaps? Something dark was stolen? No idiot, Adonia told herself. You were in a dark place where something was stolen. She rolled her eyes.

"Yes, it was a bad dream. Something was stolen, and I think I was either hiding behind it, or perhaps beneath it? I dunno. But it was very creepy, and I think, very important for me to remember. But it was odd. Don't most people remember those kinds of dreams?" she asked, her face draining of color. She had a small guess to what might have happened, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to share her suspicions just yet.

She noticed that Adonia went rigid. She noticed that she went pale. It was obvious she was looking through her mind, trying to find the answer. So, it was a dream. But what was in the dream, then? A theft. Something was stolen. She sighed, wanting more details about the bizarre dream. Sorry, she could be smart, but she wasn't Sherlock Holmes! Lyra sighed, and looked back at the fire. Sometimes, things were impossible. She sort of felt envious, she never got dreams of the present. Just myths. Lyra sighed, and watched the dancing flames. "Well, you're trying. We know something around today has been stolen, and it's important cause you dreamed about it. Just a few thousand steps til we figure this case out."she said, but the volume of her speech went down to a mutter. She shot Adonia more of a sorrow look. "Sure it isn't Hermes playing a trick on Zeus?"she asked. It had happened before.

"Could be," Adonia said, her voice quiet. In her minds eye, she saw the room. Two thrones were about all she could make out. She sighed in annoyance for not quite remembering it. "Well I suppose we'll find out if it's important. If it is, I'll probably have another dream about it tonight," she said trying to sound reassured. She stood up and looked out one of the windows, and could see three figures on the hill. Squinting, she saw one of them as Gabe, and the other one as Claire. The third figure she didn't recognize, but she had blond hair and pale skin like Claire. She shrugged, hoping they would come down soon. And perhaps leave the cabin and go somewhere else where everyone could breathe a little more easily. She didn't like Lyra's chances of staying here for a few hours, trying to breathe in this kind of air. Especially when there was high-static and it smelled of ozone.

"I see Claire and Gabriel," she said, just wanting Lyra to know they were somewhere nearby, and probably coming to the cabin soon. She watched as Claire came over and started talking to Gabriel. Hopefully they would get along, but Adonia couldn't think of anyone who didn't get along with Claire.

»After his run in with Annette and Claire at the hill, Gabe finally arrived at the foot of the Zeus cabin. Its large marble columns glinting in the sunlight. He had never really been inside the Zeus cabin, save to escort Adonia back from the Big House a few days ago. With his hand steady, he knocked several times on the large, white door to the cabin, and called out.

"Hey, Adonia, its Gabe. I come baring gifts...well...half of a gift I suppose." he joked, the box of pizza he brought over now about half-way gone. Awaiting a conformation that she was in, his ADHD kicked in, and he could no longer wait. He slowly gripped up the handle on the door to the cabin and turned it, creaking the door open slightly as he peaked in. He saw Adonia and Lyra, not fighting each other, which was a good sign, but Adonia looked troubled. He walked in and closed the door behind him, placing the box of pizza off to the side and setting on a nearby table. He walked over to Adonia, who looked more troubled than ever.

"Hey, you alright Adonia? You look like you've seen a ghost." he asked, leaning over towards her. He thought about what he said, and then realized it was a stupid remark. Demi-gods had a habit of dreaming about things, the past, future, present. Sometimes they would even have dreams about ghosts or the undead. So it seemed highly likely that Adonia had seen a ghost. "What's wrong? You two seem shook up by something. Was it a bad dream or something?" he asked after a few seconds, trying to figure out why Adonia and Lyra seemed to be troubled or trying to think about something. It was odd to see them like that, but Gabe was glad they hadn't been fighting, or at least, they didn't look like they had.

I am in the Zeus cabin

Upon the arrival of the son of Boreas, she looked up. Almost instantly he knew that there was something wrong. Wishing she had the talent, she watched him lower the pizza and walk over to him. At first he had sounded almost happy, maybe it was because they weren't fighting, but now it was as if he was scared. One thing to know is it was bad to see Adonia with a pale face near a fire. If Lyra had a pale face, you'd be asking questions, too. And that was exactly what Gabe was doing. Though, Lyra was thinking, barely listening to what Gabe was saying. Poor him, but she was caring more about what the daughter of Zeus had said. If something was stolen, it had importance. She could just say it was a theft from Hermes, trying to make Zeus annoyed, but it was obviously more. All dreams half-bloods had were always more than just practical jokes played by gods. No, it meant that something was wrong with the Western Civilization.

"Adonia had a bad dream. And you know dreams, and their impact on half-bloods, Gabriel."she told him, staring into the dancing flames. She held her fingers up to her face, to touch her pale flesh. It had a cold glow from it. She sighed, she didn't like the idea of being cold. It was as if you put a Demeter kid in the coldest place on earth, where no plants can grow. Impossible. She brushed her hair from her face, and stared at Gabe. She took a drachma and tossed it up and down, stopping her A.D.H.D. She soon put it back into her pocket. "But anyways, how was the hill?"she asked him. She seemed as if she unfroze from a block of ice. Uncomfortable and cold. Her stomach was hurting, too, but she knew it was just a cramp. She sighed, out of all the times, it had to be now. Right when she needed to clear up problems with Kevin. Okay, not her, but Gabe. She shot a look at Gabriel for awhile, then stared down at her metal leg.

"Never mind. Gabriel, Adonia had this terrible dream about a theft. A godly theft. That's all she told me, and she's been thinking it through, trying to figure things out. That's why she's so pale, and why she isn't talking."she explained to him. She stood up, making her brace creak. She pushed him away from the fire, towards the bunks. She stared at him for awhile with her crimson eyes, and then dug her hands into her pockets, her eyes following them. She felt very queasy around him, now. "Gabe, there's one more person you need to finish you're problems with, you know."she said, then let out a wistful sigh. She felt the resist to touch him, and nodded. Kevin was the only problem that remained. And he was smart with this dreams things, she hoped. She wouldn't say that she would feel better if the son of Ares was there.

»As he awaited a response from Adonia, attempted to inform him of what had happened. Apparently, Adonia had a bad dream, something that was common to most half-bloods. It often foretold of events to come, or informed us of things in the past to help us in the future. Unsure of what she could possibly of dreamed of, he felt a bit uneasy. It was something most unnerving, that was for sure, judging by Adonia's appearance and Lyra's tone of voice. It was something bad, something that needed to be taken care of as soon as possible before it was too late. Suddenly, Lyra interjected with a question, asking him how the Hill was. Had she seen him at the Hill talking to Annette and Claire? And why would she care, he was only being friendly.

Before he could answer, however, Lyra stood and pushed him back through the cabin. She came up surprisingly close to him, which he thought was odd after their conversation. She then informed him of Adonia's dream. There was a theft, according to Adonia, which seemed bad in itself. When objects to the Gods get stolen, things usually take a turn for the worst extremely fast. He thought back to Percy and the Master Lightning Bolt being stolen. That would have destroyed all of the Western Civilization had he not discovered who had really taken it. He started to get worried himself, thinking of possible aspects of what could have been stolen. After the Master Bolt, he figured that things of such importance would be guarded much more harshly than before. So magical or godly weapons seemed out, but he couldn't think of anything else of such importance.

As he started wracking his brain for possible objects, Lyra hit him with another exclamiation. "Gabe, there's one more person you need to finish you're problems with, you know." He knew what she meant, who she meant. It was Kevin. He knew he would have to come to terms with him eventually, but he didn't think he would be forced to. After their last argument, he didn't think or even plan on talking to Kevin for weeks, maybe a month or two. But if Adonia had a dream relating to a theft, that obviously meant a quest was needed and all of the Campers would want to be involved. He knew that a bitter rivalry between the two would cause an uproar between the rest of camp, so he had to resolve it for not only his sake, but for the sake of Lyra and Adonia. He scratched the back of his head as he gently pushed Lyra back, as she was standing a bit close to him. He needed a moment to breath.

"Alright, look. I'll go talk to him...if I must...but we need to take care of this first." he shot back, looking down to Adonia. He crawled past Lyra and knelt next to her, placing his arm around her back and neck. He tried to get her to talk."Look, Adonia, just take your time. Think as hard and as long as you want. We need all the information we can get, but rushing it isn't going to be of any assistance. I'm here for you-" He paused, and looked back up at Lyra. He made a slight nod to her, and turned back to Adonia."We both are." he added. He took in a deep breath and then started up again, trying to think of what could be stolen from the Gods, but not be important enough to place enough security around it that it would be stolen. Perhaps a mortal or half-blood's weapon? Maybe an ancient artifact that was presumed to never work properly? The list went on in his head, from the Nemean Lion's skin, to the Golden Fleece, which was being used to protect the camp at the moment so he ruled that one out.
