"ehh...they gave me some when I came here at first. To try and calm me down, I think. It tastes really good." Anya said...she still remembered the taste of Caramel sundae slipping down her throat...vanilla...yum.

"Uh... well my uncle mentioned something thatcould heal you extremely well." Jack said, remembering the night when his uncle had rushed him to the hill, and of course, falling down the hill and hitting the porch. So I guess I got my brains from my father then...

"Yeah, ambrosia and nectar heal us demigods very well, but we can't eat too much and mortals can't eat it or we die." Nik explained further, they needed to know the dangers of ambrosia and nectar too.

Carolynne ran in holding Gale. She set him down on a bed and ran to get everything. Everything she needed seemed to be perfectly ready for her. She grabbed bandages and ambrosia and ran back over to him. She ripped off some ambrosia and gently set some in his mouth and pulled up his shirt right after, she looked at it for a second then started trying to bandages it up as quickly as possible while the ambrosia did it's job and started to heal the wound.

It was as though a warmness washed over gale. He couldn't place the taste but it was something he remembered. Gale opened his eyes but was so weak he could of sworn he was in heaven. " Am I dead?" Gale aske with a smile as he passed back out.

Carolynne smiled lightly when he asked the question because, thank the gods, he wasn't. As she finished bandaging him up she noticed something that she hadn't when she first pulled up his shirt because she was too busy trying to save him to notice. He had already been bandaged up at one point and there was more then that. Other old scars and things were on him. She touched the scars and old places that looked like bullet wounds. She looked at his other bandages and slowly un-bandaged the older wound. When she saw it she sighed. He had been wounded already. She replaced the bandages with new ones and looked him over. "Thank gods you're okay." She whispered and took his hand in hers.

An almost inhuman scream came from the woods . Gale shot awake cringing in pain " I guess Isabellas awake. I'm sorry when I heard I had a child out there I couldn't kill her ." Gale apoligized

Carolynne set her hand on the top of his chest and tried to slowly pull him back down. "It's alright," She told him. "I don't want you to kill her." Carolynne said.

Gale gritted his teeth as he pushed his way sitting back up. " You don't understand if I'm not wiling to take that step.She won't just kill you but me to. I can't protect you I'm not strong enough, but angel might be able to." gale gasped for breath as he struggled aginst carolynne.

Carolynne stopped pushing him to lay down. "How can Angel help?" She asked.

" He's has no attachment if he has to kill her he won't think about it. Give him this to prove its my request for him to protect you." Gale replyed as he cringed raising an arm to take off his pendent holding it out to carolynne.

Carolynne took it and looked at Gale. "Please try and lie down for a few minutes. At least try and rest." She said looking at him. Her eyes seemed to plead for him to listen to her.

" I can rest when I know your safe." He replyed " Now what are you waiting for I don't know how long you have." Gale growled almost angry carolynne wasn't listening. " If she finds you by yourself your dead. Then what did I do this for?" Gale growled as all seemed to be falling apart around him.

Carolynne held onto the necklace and started walking to the door. "I'll be fine. Just rest." She said and ran out towards the arena.

As Gale rolled over he began to sob. " Why did I have to be so weak?" he asked between sobs to himself.
