Sera blinked and her bloody eyes were back again. She hung her head and sighed. Gal could be so difficult sometimes. She looked at him again, this time not as a general, but as a fellow demon. "Gal, I understand your... personal grudge. I truly do. But, honestly, that doesn't mean that you can go ahead and insult any angel that enters my home! This may be the place you are guarding, but it is my property. I allow whoever I wish to come and go as I please." She looked at him. They had known each other for a while now. There must have been a time when he hadn't been so clouded by hate. Then, realizing she had been staring at him this whole time, she turned quickly to the door and said before exiting in a rush, "I'm not going to let you room with Forest and Raven--that would end badly. So you'll be staying in one of the west guest rooms. Also, I would stay out of Ruby's way. She's under my employment." Then, Sera left the room as quickly as possible and returned to the dinner party.

Sera stopped right outside the dining room. For once, she felt unsure. Two potentially explosive people had entered her life--one earlier than the other--and were now located on her estate. Then, she thought of Forest's constant thirst for information and Gal's constant thirst for compensation. With a small smile, she thought of how those two weren't really that different after all. She went inside and excused herself for the rest of the night and retreated into her tower. She wouldn't go to sleep, but just settle down for a while. She entered her room, fashioned after an expensive, Southern Victorian master bedroom. She opened her ancient wardrobe and withdrew a silk shift that she quickly changed into. The feeling of the cool silk against her skin calmed her down enough that her mind straightened out into its usual calculating, cunning self. "Good." she said, trying not to glance out her window where Raven's house was.

Ruby sighed, her ears flattening completly on her head when all the yelling was going on. She had opened her mouth showing large canines that grew when Sera brought her name up and she hissed at Gal. Her teeth went back to normal and she looked up at the angel. "It was a pleasure meeting you so. And thanks for healing me." She said as she unwrapped the dirty bandages from her arm. She grabbed her plate and walked into her room, leaving the door wide open, the smell of her food slowly floating out of it. Sheset the plate on her nightstand and sat on the corner of her bet. Her elbows rested on her kneees annd her hands covered her face. "Gah. First day here and its already hell." She said and fell backwards onto her bed.

Ruby made her gun materalize in her hand and she slung it on her back and followed after Sera. Her orange eyes almost glowed in the darkness as they walked. She kept looking side to side, her ears swifling around, to see if she could detect any movement. But was only able to here Sera's very light footsteps. Her own she had perfected to be perfectly quiet even to her own high powered hearing.

Ruby nodded. "Believe me miss Sera. I am a lot stronger than I look. " She said with a cute grin. "I'm ready for anything." She said. The smell of the vampires and blood burnt the inside of her high powered nostrils. She stopped breathing through her nose and through her mouth instead. But now she could taste the smell of vampires and blood. Tho it distasteful she continued breathing through her mouth, almost looking like she was panting. /She'd ranther taste the faint smell instead of smelling it a thousand times more.
