I don't know what this will change about the hackings but i was mysteriously logged out of my account yesterday. I quickly deleted the cookies, signed onto my mule and signed out. Got back on this account and changed the Password. I was pretty scared lol
Oh and i'm using google chrome not firefox.

Cryptex XIII Asian Sins Asians Nice theory except Im pretty sure Lux doesnt even vend, so he wouldnt be using firefox and cathcing those big items priced cheaply. I can see that happening to Mebu and Kamui99, but what about Cryptex too. Ive never seen her get a big item priced cheap like any of those sashes Mebu got. We may never know how they did it. I don't know why I got hit, I'm not a prominent vender/exchanger and I don't have any major '03 items like a DT or mini's. It doesn't make much sense to me either. I'm wondering if I did a "at the wrong place at the wrong time" thing. Yeh Lux also confirmed that he doesnt vend at all, so that's really weird and quite scary as to how they couldve done it. Sorry you got hit. Hope you get your stuff back soon. smile

I think you may have been hit simply because you're crew in an investing guild. Im crew and so is C A H P S and others and they didnt get hit.

carbonphyber We closed a major security hole today. Please stop speculating about the vector of attack. If anyone has evidence that a specific marketplace page is being exploited. please PM me and I will make sure it's handled. BTW, the security hole we fixed was not related to marketplace but could easily explain the recent hackings. Posted: Wed Mar 10, 2010 3:38 pm. Hope this helps make people feel a lil bit safer, but i personally will not be doing any vending or exchanging for a while because if you happen to get a hacked item you could be banned with very lil recourse to amend it.
