Omen waved his hand and his troops began to vanish slowly from the plain before he walked through the portal. The young female commander behind him. When he entered he heard his introduction and bowed lightly before continuing on toward the steps. He stood calmly at the base his eyes still bloodshot but his profile staying strong for the moment. "hello, I understand you are the new shadow?" he said with a smile.

Galbrix

Galbrix was disturbed at how all these portals could open and close so quickly. They always left him a little dizzy and confused. He wondered, after they had left, if he had actually talked to them at all... But he nodded at Lilith a few moments after she bowed and listened intently as another entered the room through that portal of darkness, along with young, what looked human general. Galbrix had learned not to trust apperences though. At the introdution of General Omen and Omen's comment, Galbrix was immediantly annoyed at this new man. His eyes were one problem, the bloodshot irises... And the way he didn't bow... This position was supposed to offer power and fear, not respect.

For a moment the room was silent except the near silent hum of the portal, which Galbrix waved away with annoyance. He could recall the name Omen, but he had seen this man before... even if he did look a bit more healthy... and a bit more man. Finally he replied, "You understand well Omen. I am the new Shadow, and, just as before, man will again tremble at my rage. I have already announced it to the masses outside that I expect an army by the end of the week... feel free to chose whoever you wish to have in your unit."

Galbrix's eyes moved from Omen and lingered for a moment on the small human female behind him... though he had a feeling she was more than just human. Then they rested on Lilith again. "How goes your job with the assassin? If you are done I think you may be of assistance to me..." he lingered, wanting to say more. He licked his dry lips and swallowed, for he hadn't had time to brew his potion today. It wouldn't kill him, but he was a little weak without it.

Omen smiled, "I need no units for I have my own army in ready for your bidding." he said calmly. "That is not why I am here however." he began. "I serve the shadow and the shadow you are... however There is a price for my services... it is not much but it may help with your own little issue." he said noticing how old he appeared.

Galbrix

The elder half-elf looked back at the black-haired man. He still didn't bow, and Galbrix noticed. A burning sensation arose in his face, as he looked deep into Omen's eyes. The old half-elf was usually good at hiding his anger, but still his cheeks felt red. A price? he thought. "What might said price be?" Galbrix asked.

Omen smiled, "Well you see, I am a strange creature, a mix of a vampire and an Incubus. With it comes many great powers, such as playing with and sensing peoples emotions." he said with a chuckle feeling the anger radiate from the half-elf. "However it comes with its price as well. For me to sustain my current appearence every one-hundred years or so I must feed as a vampire... though mortal blood wont do. I need something a bit more potent im afraid. Something that breathes hatred and malice." he said calmly. "Your predecessor was the last provider of said substance. I am in need of blood... Your blood." he said calmly.

Galbrix

The Shadow simply stared for a few moments, uncomprehending. Exactly who was this? Galbrix skimmed his memory. Nothing in particular about him... He searched harder, but all he pulled up was that he was a great general. Why was that? He began to delve while staring the man in the face. He recalled black masses... knights of shadow... dark legions. Were those his own? The only things that seemed to come close to match that power were the Golems The Shadow had controlled.

It didn't seem so bad. The question was, how much? So Galbrix repeated the question in his mind aloud, no longer angry, just curious, "How much, exactly, do you need?"

Omen shrugged, "luckily not very much at all perhaps half a goblet or less." he said trying to give him an idea in terms of amount. "I should be able to suffice with that. Its barely an amount even to Humans." he said with a grin. He could feel the shadow relaxing, "A small price to pay If i do say so myself." he said extending his arm before continuing, "Are we in agreement then?"

Galbrix

Galbrix was tempted to say no... though he knew it was such a cowardly and stupid decission. He thought of those regiments of black knights and their power, the elite divisions. To pass this up and make that person his enemy at once wasn't something intellegent. He looked at them all before he pulled a dagger from beneath the folds of silk robes. He wasn't letting those lips come near him. Pulling a small pouch from a pocket, threw it to the floor and casted a spell that reformed it into a silver goblet. "One goblet full then..."

He took the dagger and, quickly, slit his wrist over the goblet, letting it fill slowly before recalling the words of healing. It had been so long since he used the powers of good that he simply didn't recall them as the goblet overflowed for a few moments. Then he recalled the words, and, chanting them quickly, the wound healed, the slashed artiery rapidly restiched. He felt a bit dizzy, but was otherwise unaffected. The stone steps dripped with blood as did the overly-full, silver goblet. He sat down in the throne, keeping his eyes on Omen.

Omen walked calmly to the steps grabbing the goblit easily in one hand. "To Your unchallenged reign, for as long as I stand no one shall serve as a threat." he said with a grin. He slowly raised the goblet to his lips drinking it all in a matter of moments.
His profile seemed to stiffen his arms growing in muscle mass and his hair becoming long sleek and black. He rolled his neck cracking it several times Before opening his eyes. The biggest change rested there his eyes now glowed a blood red. "And so an omen of darkness descends upon the land, shadow will reign and demons will unit under one man." he said calmly his voice holding an eary echo effect. What seemed like a thin blanket of dark energy covered his whole body.
His power circulating throughout the room as he stood up straighter and grasped his sword. "And so my army is yours to command... and it will continue to grow so long as I live." he said calmly. He raised his hand and four very large knights crashed from the ground tearing it open as they surfaced. One was half bull another half lion, another half raven, and the last half tiger. They all dropped down to one knee behind omen.
"Take these four as my gift to you, they will serve you well. The minotaur of strength, the prideful lion, the quick and graceful raven and the powerful tiger... and take this." he said tossing him a small red vial. "It contains a small amount of my blood should things become desperate feel free to use it... it will not be permanent mind you but it will make you stronger for a time." he said calmly.

Galbrix

Watching the monsters spout from the ground, The Shadow was disappointed to see the tile floor destroyed, but no one ever told him war was pretty, and he had never expected it to be. Galbrix sighed and appointed each of them to a colomn, evn though there were eight. Pointing to the minotaur, he pointed to the closest pillar to the right, and he did the same for each of them, surprized that they listened to him at all.

Raising a hand, purple energy shrouded the pieces of tile before they formed back in near-perfect placement, only slight cracks still noticable. With a word from Galbrix, they glowed green for a moment before locking in place. He then looked to Omen and smiled, "I thank you for your gifts. You are to be ready by week's end. The town over that mountain range shall fall, and then the next town, and the next, until all have fallen. So was the will of The Shadow, and so it is mine too."

Koji Kasshin

"When your heartbeat stops, remember that I killed you..."

Koji walked straight through the doors of Galbrix's domain. He hoped he had interrupted them, for he had no better ways right now to show he was still mostly independent. He, having keen eyesight as an assassin should, noticed small cracks in a few tiles on the floor that shouldn't be there, and attributed them to the monsters now in the room. He looked at each one, each had at least 50% of the power he himself contained, and maybe a little more. He looked at the minotaur and the tiger in turn, those two were the biggest threats, literally. Another blow to his plans. He examined Omen once more discreetly, he seemed stronger now, at full power.

"Galbrix, yes, I know your name, I have news." He walked slightly forward, testing the guard creatures, each moved slightly closer to him, ready to pounce. He guessed that a couple meters further and they would have attacked. He, as usual, refused to kneel and stood instead, "there was an army on the plain ready to march here, they are no more. I also have learned that they know Omen is revived, and they observed Lilith with him, those two are now compromised. Another thing is," he flicked the dagger out from his gauntlet, and the minotaur moved a few more paces forward, it was obviously rash, he judged the lion was strong, but it had problems working as a team judging from the way it was a bit further away. The tiger seemed to be the minotaur's second, and the raven was probably quick, they would be tough.

He re-sheathed the dagger, he knew almost all he needed to about these creatures. "There were a few scouts that were disposed of, but I would assume they found something out, quite possibly that we now have an army. I suggest we make a war plan now while all officers are in here." He placed his hand on the floor and slowly moved it upwards, a chair forming out of the marble tiles, then he repeated this process three more times, once for Lilith, another for Omen, one more for Sly, then one of a table, effectively making a war room. "Well?" He sat down, idly running a finger down the length of his sword.

"Do you really think you can beat me? I'm the best assassin to ever live, I'm beyond invincible..."

Omen smiled at every bit of the news, "If they know i have risen again they are on edge. Or have you not heard the old tales? I can assure you none of them are myth." he said with a grin. "My armies grow by the day and are allways ready to move at a flick of my wrist. Not even I know everything about the Limits of my army. Some of them may not be able to die for all i know... however I can assure you there is allready a strategy in place. I had alot of time over the past century to think things through. As did the shadow before his untimely demise. Though I have a request that requires your particular set of skills." he said with a grin.

Galbrix

Galbrix found the insolence of thi new person to be intoleralble, but decided to give him a chance. He had brought him news of the outside world, though, for a moment, he found himself think he might have lied. The arua of this man reached him and he suddenly took the thought back. He knew this man... this vampire was Koji! He looked at him hard for not showing respect, as most did these days...

He stared harder as the assassin tested these new body gaurds, but he silenced them. He even disimissed them with the wave of a hand, two leaving through the front doors and locking them and the other two leaving through the opposite doors on the back wall. He had set them to do this with no more than the wave of a hand. A small part of him wanted to kill the two men in the room, but they were his power cards, his Jokers. Lilith was smart, intelligent, and strong, but she controlled no power of which he knew like these two owned.

He spoke before they sat down, "I can't seem to recall that these were hidden in the floor... but they do serve a nice purpose. My top three of my army and I can now converse. I have been looking for a man who can solve a delima for me, Triton. The last I heard of him, he was in the mountains, a hermit. He is of great importance and shouldn't be harmed, for he may provide the cause with a powerful force. The man had worked for The Old Shadow... but he will serve me."

He stared down at the congregation with hard eyes. This man was of upmost importance to Galbrix, but he was sure they would interrogate him, to see why he was so important. Perhaps Lilith wouldn't, but he couldn't be sure if anyone wasn't looking at the throne with a hunger of their own. Omen wanted his blood, but Galbrix was close to death anyways, so he might try. Koji was definately up to something, and The Shadow wasn't knocking out the throne as one target. Lilith looked loyal, but who could be sure? It was often those that were the most dangerous...

Omen looked up and nodded, "very well, I will prepare for The campaign ahead. There is no need to wait, Koji can handle retrieving an old hermit." he said looking at him. "So first things first is we need to tell the world that we are back and their time has come. I recomend this city, the capital, however we will need to take the two cities south of it before we can strike effectively... I can take them by nightfall tomarrow, by then the hermits forces can strike from the other direction simultaneously. In three days we will have taken three cities and the heart of the human people... that is my idea for now." he said crossing his arms and waiting for oppinions. As hed been speeking a map had burned itself into the table showing his plan.

SHEBA

"Next," said Sheba, turning and walking to the center of the room, "I unlock your true potential. I need each of you to come to me and stand in a circle so that I may remove the protective ward that has kept your powers at bay, and the Shadows at a distance. You should be warned, however, that any number of side effects may result from the process. You may experience flashes of memory from a past life, your very character may start to change as you become more of who you once were, and new feelings and desires may awaken within you."She withdrew her staff from its place on her back, holding it with both hands. Sheba drew it in a slow circle on the ground, her face serious and intense as she focused on her task. Where the staff traced the ground, the ground began to glow a faint lillac color. She completed the circle, and began drawing several small circles outside of it. One for herself, one for the heir, one for the assassin and one for the mage. She herself stepped into the first circle she drew, and it lit up as she did so, a deep purple glow emerging from it. "Take your places and we'll begin."

Lilith

Lilith watched the progression of events quietly, until Koji came into the room. He always seemed to show up at the most inopportune times, but right now he had legitimate reason. If the resistance was forming an attack against the new Shadow then it was best to be ready for it. She cursed herself for letting them see that Omen was awakened, it had been careless of her not to check for scouts. What was done was done though, and she needed to focus on the event at hand. She leaned over the table slightly, to get a more direct view of the map that appeared on the table. Her lips were pursed in irritation at the distinct lack of respect the two males were showing The Shadow.

"If you wish me to retrieve this man, I shall do so," she stated, as her eyes scanned the map. "We should have Koji sneak in and take out major town figures before we attack, to drive them into chaos and confusion and force the less prepared to take their place. My other concern lies here," she tapped her finger on the table, at the edge of one of the three cities. "There is a clan of nomadic elves nearby at this time of year and they could cause us some trouble. I may have been imprisoned for years, but elves are creatures of habit and tradition, so I doubt their passage through this forest has changed. If we attack them first, we lose the element of surprise fighting the humans, but if we attack the humans first, the elves will ravage our army from behind and at a distance. We'll need to split the army to deal with both sides at once," she proposed, looking to The Shadow for his opinion on her proposition.

((Red Queenie has not responded and so will be removed from the RP, if anyone without a warrior as of yet wishes to be the beastmaster let me know, otherwise I'll just eliminate the position so that the rp can actually advance on the warrior side.))
