That's a lot of sweeping.... eek
The only thing I would worry about is the timing a bit... Your playing is phenominal but you're just slightly off timing with the backing track...
It sounds good man.... post more if you get the chance!

Yeah, basically it's because I was recording some shred ideas seperatley, then decided it would be fun to post, so I just threw that backing track behind it. If I had more time and ambition, I would re-record the beginning (mainly the min7b5 sweeps with all the slides). Basically I was planning for it to be a stand-alone solo track, then decided it needed a bit more. It was also fairly late and I was a little tipsy, hahaha.

I finished my new song! it's done! I'M FREE!!!! naw, just kidding, It is done, but I'll have to rerecord it later to studio quality (someday....) take a listen, and please please please leave a comment here on what you think. Thanks all! Meeting You Again Demo

Tim, I really like your new song man. The melody is kickin as s**t, but (IMHO), you've just got a bit too much overdrive in your lead tone, i think, to match the song's fairly mellow style. Then again maybe it's just my personal style talking, I'm sure the kids are doing something different these days blaugh
But your playing is phenominal as always!
And did I ever tell your your one strange looking motherlover?
Edit: Now that I've listened to it again, near the end, where the music hits it's climax the heavy soloing style sounds really in-touch with the way the song is moving (still a bit too much distortion for me, but everyone's got their own personal tone). Great job on it though man, way better than I could ever do at this point.

It's hard to get anything like what you've just written from anywhere on gaia or the internet. I did choose the lead tone to be a bit different.... I kinda wanted that saturated sound with it from the beginning, and I did work it in so that everything fitted together at the end. Thanks a lot! xd
