Juliet sighed. "It felt like, I was torn apart. I felt raged, especailly when my sistr and brother were killed, and I was left to suffer. I wanted to do so much, but I knew I couldnt do anything about it." She sighed, clenching her fists. "I was crushed, and I even almost commited sucide becasue of it." She blinked back tears, both of sandess and rage.

"Maybe for a human, but not for a vampire like me. I could easily slip past the guards, if I had to, but I don't. Being a vampire, and the only known child vampire in the entire city, I'm the king's advisor/negotiator when it comes to the humans andthe Clan. They think a child's powers don't exist, or at least, they won't fully form until they 'come of age', whatever that means. And they're right. A vampire's powers take about 200 years to fully form, but I'm 180." I said.

"I have to, or he'll wipe the clan out. Even with our superior speed and strength, the king has been trying to buy a new weapon that launches metal balls the size of a pebble much faster than a crossbow can fire a bolt." I said.
