Ton watched as he saw the Genin drop to his back to avoid the attack while attempting a jutsu at the same time. Ton could only marvel at the young Genin's bravery, but at the same time could chastise his almost careless positioning. Moving his arm barely an inch, Ton held his chakra blade directly above Kurocku's mouth as the fire was expelled. As the fire met the chakra blade it was instantly absorbed as the chakra blade began to glow brighter and Ton's tattoo's spine was filled even more, now at about 75% of the way full.

As the fire died down, Ton's tattoo suddenly flashed twice, the spine of the dragon dropping to about 50% once more as he lifted his fist high in the air, aiming the top head of the tonfa which projected the chakra blade downward as he dropped his fist hard and fast against Kurocku's face.

Despite what the boy must have thought with his words, ton had seen everything which had unfolded before him. Not to say the speed wasn't impressive, but it wasn't as if Ton couldn't have stopped it if he had chosen to. Following through with the attack, Ton's hand hit the ground with an earth shattering blow as the area was cratered about 2 feet around the attack on all sides. Lifting his hand back up, Ton's mask had already noted the boy's new speed, his body's movements appearing as blips across his eyes.

Even with his two speed augmentations, the by was now just about as fast as he was."Sigh... I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, this thing always burns like a b***h for days after using it."In an instant, a strange sigil lit up on the back of Ton's neck as a great pressure of energy was felt throughout the room, as if some immense power had been released. Ton's chakra shot up about 5 fold on it's activation and he now was glowing with an intense darkblue aura which practically licked off of him like flame. The second the wood technique struck him, it was splintered and shattered, never even reaching his leg as he was left completely unharmed.

In a mere instant following, Ton disappeared, his speed practically supernatural as Reitenmaru heard a voice behind him. "Not scared. You just never said 'Go'." The reverberating voice was quickly matched with an intense pain as Ton's tonfa connected with Reitenmaru's back, launching him about 10 ft into the air, only to send him crashing down to the ground next to Kurocku."I warned you that I would only fight as hard as you did... did you not believe that I would or could? You're only made it harder for yourself by being so single minded."The comments were directed mainly to Reitenmaru then the others, though the actions of one member always affected the team, so he was speaking generally to all of them, though he was looking at Reitenmaru.

"Hmmph, what are they teaching you kids these days?" Ton's voice reverberated with a low, almost growling sound as he spoke, it didn't sound human, but it was at the very least understandable, if nothing else..."As a member of a team, your actions are those of the team's and their fates are bound to your actions just as yours is bound to theirs. You are not three individuals, you are a team, and one person's actions means consequences for everyone. You activated your power far before you had someone to save, you simply kicked it up when you saw you needed to. Your original intent however was offensive, not defensive."

"Wanting to help your village is a noble goal, but to do that as a Chuunin means knowing that your actions have direct effects on your village, and more immediately on your teammates at all times. As such, you must now contend with me at the level I am at, just as they will have to." Wasting no more time, Ton flipped his chakra blades around in a flashy motion before slamming the heads of his tonfa together again, just as he had when he originally created the chakra blades. This time however as he drew the tonfa apart, a second chakra blade formed off the ends of each tonfa, creating a truly scary image of two large crescent shaped chakra blades in Ton's hands. Blazing with chakra, the dual crescent shaped chakra blades were about 6 ft long from the tip of the one side of the blade to the tip of the other as his dark blue aura seemed to extend around the blades themselves as well.

"You might want to start considering some alternative strategies..." Ton then immediately dashed forward towards Reitenmaru at unparalleled speed, spinning around clockwise to slash his right crescent blade across Reitenmaru's chest, planning to continue his assault next with a diagonal slice downward with his left crescent chakra blade.

Ton looked down in confusion at the technique he had never experienced before and was even more surprised to feel his body become heavier, as well as everything he held. Luckily for him, chakra blades held no weight, but still it was rather troublesome. with quick reaction time, Ton used the chakra of his tattoo twice, his tattoo's outline flashing twice across his body as he felt his strength grow two fold. Unless they had begun to realize that he was able to use the chakra he absorbs from others to augment his own abilities through the chakra system of his dragon, it would appear as if he was simply unaffected by the jutsu.

With the freedom to move again, he felt the wood rise up from the ground beginning to wrap around hi slegs. However, considering his new strength, and the immensity of his aura, ton was able to shatter the wood into splinters as he watched Kai inspect all of the pedestals simultaneously. Knowing he couldn't stop them all, he would at the very least stop the clones from relaying the information to the group, ignoring Kai himself, who was able to read the kanji 'ka', meaning fire on the pedestal. Quickly maneuvering around Reitenmaru with his speed and agility, Ton nearly disappeared, though he was simply moving so fast that it would appear that he was there one second and gone the next. Arriving quickly at the first column, Ton was able to destroy the first lightning clone before it could uncover anything, but the second clone was able to fully dust itself off before having it's structure destroyed and absorbed by Ton's chakra blades... his Dragon tattoo's spine once again showing itself to half filled.

as the two spoke, Ton watched from a distance, his vision magnifying several times in the display on his mask until he was close enough to be able to see their faces, and after some focusing of his chakra, hear their voice. After their conversation, he watched as Reitenmaru apparently decided not to listen to the orders, or to simply comply to them in his own way. Nevertheless Kai now charged him with drawn katana. ton didn't really know what he planned to do with the weapon, but he deciding to throw a small road block.

with the flaring of his tattoo once more, the chakra blades suddenly intensified and elongated as they burst forth. With a few carefully choreographed spins and attacks, Ton twirled around, slicing the blades forward twice as the excess chakra flew off the blades and spun wildly through the air towards Kai.
