It hand been a long and laborious task, but finally Armand and Veronica managed to drag Damon's unconscious body all the way to these Crystal Springs. Veronica began to swing Damon towards the edge of the steaming water, in a haste, Armand followed suit. "And a one! And a two! And a three!" Veronica swung with each count and let go on the third, Armand reluctantly let go also, causing Damon to spin like a frisbee into the pool where he landed with a "Plop!" and immediately sunk. "Uh...Veronica? Are you sure that was the best idea? He's not coming back up..." Armand stared nervously at the spring, which was bubbling a bit where Damon had landed. Veronica glared at Armand, "Oh hush you. He had to get him better somehow, and I wasn't about to pay that overpriced hospital fee." Armand shot Veronica a quick glance before staring nervously at the pool of steaming water. The bubbles rising to the surface suddenly increased in frequency and the surface of the water exploded as Damon floated to the surface gasping desperately for air, "WHAT THE HELL VERONICA?! THAT WAS SO NOT....Ow! This is hot water! Hot hot hot....hot....oh...this feels good..." Damon had gone from splashing around furiously in the water to floating peacefully on the surface in a matter of seconds. Veronica rolled her eyes and broke off a chunk of a nearby crystal and began to chew thoughtfully on it. Armand let out a sigh of relief now that he new Damon was safe and opted to join him in the pool. " Oh, the water is amazing! Come join us Veronica!" Veronica sighed and sat down, still chewing on the piece of crystal. "Um hello? I'm a Ground-Type, me and water don't mix" Armand shrugged and continued to float in the water, letting it heal all his stress and aches. Veronica let her gaze wander and noticed a Sneasal and Buneary playing together, they certainly weren't an uncommon pair to see around the guild, when one was seen the other couldn't be too far behind, without a warning, they were both gone, and it was just the three of them. She sighed, these first few days in the guild had been hard, she just wished she could relax and have fun, like Armand, Damon, or those two...maybe someday.

Veronica cocked her head slightly as a random Cubone came to sit beside her. The rest of her group had joined Veronica's in the pool, splashing and swimming around, increasing the air of relaxation that mixed with the thin layer of steam that invaded this place. She looked at the Cubone out of the corner of her eyes, fingering the half-eaten crystal with her right hand, "Tch, great guess, hun. But I'd guess you'd know from experience...". She looked the Cubone over curiously, she was obviously female, for reasons Veronica couldn't quite explain herself. She look fairly plain, save for her blue eyes and the strange pink Egg in her lap. She sighed, her hostile tone fading, and adjusted herself to face the Cubone, she took another bite of the crystal and swallowed, "My name's Veronica, I'm new to the guild...". She took this chance to look at the egg in her lap, "Is that...yours...?" She cocked an eyebrow, clearly incredulous that one so young could be so...intimate. Over in the pool, Armand's nap had been quite rudely interrupted by a pair of new Pokemon jumping into the spring. His annoyance was short-lived for he soon noticed a lone Eevee with unusual coloring and a necklace was lounging along the edge of the pool. He smirked and sunk so that his eye sockets were barely visible amongst the many tendrils of steam. He allowed his shadow, which without the fluorescent crystals wouldn't have existed, to be bent and distorted by the water on it's way to the shore-line. It slowly snaked upwards and behind the Eevee. All he had to do was give one little push...just one....and he did. Favoring sparkling gems over new company, Damon decided to explore the bottom of the pool, perhaps he could find something...of value............or not.

Veronica tried her best not to flinch at the full-on sight of Luna's eyes, at least that explained why she had only one blue eye. "Oh, um, we got an egg too...it's being taken care of by our newest member...who also recently was hatched..." Veronica looked pensive for a bit before letting out a frustrated sigh, "Which...in retrospect, probably wasn't the best of ideas." Veronica grasped desperately for a new topic to talk about...but none came, she hoped Luna would provide one.

Damon looked around frantically at the sudden burst of name-calling. He frowned slightly but ignored the Eevee, proceeding to claw at a stray crystal he had found on the wall of the pool, seeing if he could dislodge it somehow. Armand, on the other hand had promptly sunk to the bottom of the pool in fits of laughter. Armand could be a bit stuffy and uptight at times, but a few burst of obstreperous behavior had to be good for a Pokemon like Armand, right? Between fits of laughter Armand noticed a purple Mudkip not too far away, also "dying" of laughter. He smiled, it looks like someone shared a Ghost-Type's sense of humor.

By some unfortunate twist of fate, at the same moment that the egg moved, Veronica had the last bit of crystal in her mouth. She jumped so hard that the crystal lodged in her throat and she began grasping at her neck, as if that would stop the choking. She finally managed to swallow, painfully, and began to slightly panic, "Omigod, omigod! What do I, what do I do?!" She had never witnessed an egg hatching, but something told her that all this commotion was highly unnecessary. Meanwhile, under the surface of the water Armand had finally regained his composure and returned the smile and thumbs up. He noticed the Misdreavus gesturing to him and he let out a sigh, rising to the surface of the water, and resuming his lazy float-about. He opened his eye in his right socket and made eye contact with the Eevee, before sticking out his tongue.

When the Slowpoke hatched from the egg, Veronica plopped down on the ground, slightly exhausted from her little outburst. She laughed, "Oh, well look at that...a Slowpoke. Looks a bit...dull, heh. Have any thoughts on a name?" Veronica frowned slightly as the Slowpoke sucked on it's tail like some sort of pacifier. Now that it was all over, Veronica felt rather stupid for having acted in such a way... although Luna seemed like the kind of Pokemon not to care about that. Armand flinched slightly, that was quite a harsh treat, and certainly not something Armand was used to. He shrugged it off and continued floating, not like the Eevee could hurt him. On the other end of the pond Damon was approached by very white Misdreavus. A huge smile spread across his face and he slid down the side of the pool and came to rest at water level, resting his arms on the nearby rock face, making him look as if he was in a recliner. He looked the small ghost Pokemon up and down, one eyebrow raised, "Well hello there, sweet thing. Name's Damon, and I can imagine that a beautiful thing like yourself has a gorgeous name to match?~"

Damon's smile slipped a bit, "Aw, don't be that way, baby~ You know, I used to be in a gang..." Damon gave the Misdreavus a flirtatious look, maybe she liked the bad-boy type. Armand watched as the purple Mudkip splashed the Eevee, who retaliated ferociously. He chuckled, this was certainly interesting, where they always so...rambunctious? Veronica crossed her legs and arms, eying the newborn curiously, "Maybe you could name it something like... Dumbo.... or Dopey, I dunno, something that went hand in hand with it's intelligence," The Slowpoke drooled a bit, and Veronica pulled a face, "Or lack thereof."

Veronica smiled, the Slowpoke was rather cute, and she was having a great time. Finally being able to relax and not have to worry about some damn mission was a huge load off her shoulders, especially since she always did most of the work, "Heh, it seems to have taken a liking to you, Luna." Damon's smile didn't falter this time, playing hard to get, eh? Damon figured it couldn't help to push a tad farther, "Well, Suki, I find that you suit my fancy~" It was a cheesy line, sure, but hey, some girls liked that sort of thing. Armand smiled a bit and righted himself in the water, as to more properly address the purple Mudkip that had spoken to him. "Ha, I can tell. My name's Armand," he gestured towards the cut on the Mudkip's face, "You have a little laceration on your face. Do you wanna get something for that? I happen to know of a rather soothing herb that grows not too far away from here. You know know that I think about it, the natural chemicals in this spring could probably do a fine job at speeding up the coagulation process, not to mention Mudkips are part amphi-bi-an....." Armand slowly let his sentence drag into nothingness as he realized he was rambling. He cleared his throat, doing his best to regain his composure. "Well...um...yeah, my name's Armand" Armand floated in the water for a second or two before awkwardly sticking out his hand, unsure what to do and finding a hand shake to be the most....indifferent...he'd never really been good at meeting new people.
