Jeanne Toppan The doctor is: IN~!
Toppan blushed at the feeling of Ame falling asleep in her arms and groaned as she patted his back and carried him still the way a mother would to her son.
... She always wanted kids of her own. But never truly felt the joy of intimacy she desired in a child let alone a family. All her life, her family had been one, big dysfunction. Even when she was adopted.
She had always been, and always will be, a bitter woman with no husband, no children, and no true life of her own. And she accepted it.
It was just something she learned not to resent over the years. She then sat down in her seat and pulled out the lollipop from her mother as she disposed of it in the trashcan.
"Indeed," said Toppan as she petted Ame's hair out of his face. Something about her eyes displayed... A motherly glow about her as she absently rested her head on his head.

Antony Freed & Ame Retsu  "I'm singing in the rain... I'm singing in the rain...  Ame continued to sleep, his arms still wrapped around the nurse. "That is kinda cute isn't it?" Antony asked to the smaller girl, taking note of Ame's affection towards Toppan, "I think Ame found himself a new friend and a pet today..."But... Can't we just go inside?

Aelita tilted her head curiously and pulled her gaze over to Toppan and Ame. She didn't even blink once. Just watched with an unchanging facial expression. 'Miss Toppan has a soft spot.' she thought with a smile and eased her arms a bit so they hung loosely to her sides. ''Yeah, It is indeed a sight to admire.'' she replied thoughtfully and glanced up at Antony. Her chain made a small clinking noise as she did. ''Wait, Is Ame your weapon?'' She asked, with a curious expression. Only this time her voice was a bit softer. She didn't want to wake Ame. Aelita had also noticed Ame had a larger number of Electric signals coming off of him than Antony did. Normally she would see that in most weapons.

"I suppose," said Toppan nonchalantly as she rocked little Ame in his arms. Somehow, he reminded her of Mini, but less loud and rambunctious compaired to the tiny tyke in red.
She'd think, that if she'd ever had children of her own, she'd have made sure that none of them had more or less than the other. And that she would only have one child, so as to love and cherish it more than its sibling, old or young.
But alas, she feared having children of her own; how she wanted them, though. She didn't care if her husband was no good to her. As long as she got to keep the kid. Everything would be just fine... Just her and the baby...
"... Hm. I never had any children of my own. But I suppose, if I'd have been married, I'd have made a good mother..." she said, hugging the boy to her chest as she tried not to make her voice sound too soft for her own good, "Better mother than a wife, that's for sure," she said, almost laughing at her statement.

Antony Freed & Ame Retsu "I'm singing in the rain... I'm singing in the rain... Antony nodded, "Yeah, he is my weapon..." He said to the blue haired girl, "why do you ask?" He was confused why she would ask, but it didn't bother him too much. Ame moved slightly in her arms, getting more comfortable on her skin. He gave out a small sigh and continued to sleep. But... Can't we just go inside?

Aelita watched Ame as he made himself comfortable on Toppan while he was sleeping. She still had that blank stare that never told you what she was thinking. Though, Aelita had been listening to what Toppan was saying. It would be stupid to decide who was deemed fit to be a mother. Even the cruelest of people can have their moments of Serenity when merely glancing into a child's eyes. So full of life...So carefree. and they too look to their mothers for guidance and protection. For things they aren't able to understand. ''Mothers punish us and we sometimes don't know why. And they set rules that don't often make sense. Mothers love us unconditionally.'' She paused with her eyes still in a daze. It looked as if she had a hard time continuing. ''Mother understands what a child does not say.'' Aelita stated once again absentmindedly. Her eyes seemed to be almost staring at nothing, but her lips kept on moving. ''Mother is god in the eyes of a child.'' It could be possible that Aelita was speaking out of something that was chanted and beaten into her head. At least she said it as if she were reading it from a book. Her trance was broken when Antony spoke to her, She gazed up at him and blinked for a second. Then smiled brightly. ''Oh, no reason...I was just admiring...You two didn't seem like partners, but closer. Like brothers. I apologize.'' She replied, bowing her head slightly. Dear Agony - Breaking Benjamin

He was amazed that something deep could come out of her small body. Then she got back to his question, to which he began to sweat, "oh, the way you asked just caught me off guard, it sounded like you were shocked or something... Sorry for jumping to conclusions."But... Can't we just go inside?

Luna Luminesca The Ice Witch - The White Wolf of the North
 The haze that seemed to be around Luna, the darkness that she thought would be the last thing she ever saw, began to lift. She could still feel pain in her hind leg. Pain meant that she was still alive, which was either a blessing or a cruel curse, she couldn't decide just yet. Luna began to stir slightly, and her eyes began to open slowly. It took a while for her blurred vision to become clear, but she was soon able to look around and see where she was.
This place looked like a nurse's office or something. She remembered she was in death city, but she didn't remember any place like this.
Where am I? Did someone bring me to a doctor?
Luna looked around at the people in the room. She didn't recognize anyone until her eyes came to Aelita. Could she have saved her again? She wanted to ask her what was going on, but she was pretty sure that would be a bad idea, she had no idea who the other people were. The older woman looked like a doctor or something and was holding a small boy. Then there was an older boy speaking to Aelita. And laying on a bed was an unconscious girl that looked slightly familiar, but Luna couldn't place her.
As Luna looked around, it was clear that she was confused and maybe a little frieghtened.

Aelita grinned at Antony gesturing a thumbs up. ''No worries. Was only a misunderstanding in words.'' She replied and turned her gaze to Luna who seemed to be awake now. There were a few questions she'd love to ask her at the moment, but that would put them both at risk. So all she could do was give Luna a quick wink followed by a friendly smile. Letting her know that there is no need to worry about the people around her. They were all here to help her. Aelita was just a bit depressed she couldn't have done something about it before Luna got attacked. Well at least the people who are caring for her now are kind and generous. ''Oh look! Haunani woke up. It's a good thing you two fished her out of the Alleys when you did. She could have died.'' That was technically directed to Luna, but nobody would have known because it was an obvious statement.

"Not my Mother," said Toppan sharply as she got up from her seat and began preparing something while still performing the task of holding Ame gently in her arms as she spoke, "I never knew my real Mother. She died just when I was conceived. And as for my foster Mother, well... Can you imagine... What it would be like... To serve your whole childhood as an indentured slave?" she said bitterly as she withdrew another chemical from an unknown bottle with a syringe.
"... She was never good to me. But oh, I was good to her... No matter how hard she beat me. I'd rather have myself a Mother than none at all," said Toppan in a harsh, but calm voice as her face was turned out of view from the two before turning around with a much more pleasant look on her face as she carefully applied the shot to the back of the sleeping creature's neck before withdrawing it in a matter of seconds, "The antivenom as already taken effect and I can safely say that I've administered her a healthy dose of GH so that her anterior pituatary gland will be able to secrete more osteoblasts and calcitonin for her to avoid necrosis and depression of osteocalcin and an increased number of osteoclasts," she said, petting her fur as she sat back down in her seat with a sigh.
"And it's a good thing you brought her to me. Poor little thing wouldn't have made it if it survived just one more day in that condition..."

Antony Freed & Ame Retsu "I'm singing in the rain... I'm singing in the rain... Antony looked over to the operating table, and sure enough the puppy was awake, now curiously looking around the room. Antony gave the dog a smile and watched as Ame's eyes opened, almost as if on cue, dropped from Toppan's grip. Ame was happy to see the animal wake up, he reached a small gentle hand and began petting Haunani, "I'm glad you are awake Haunani, I knew Toppan would save you!" His smile returning to his face, looking at the animal. Ame gave Toppan a quick smile and spoke, "thank you Nurse Toppan! You are the greatest!"But... Can't we just go inside?

Luna Luminesca The Ice Witch - The White Wolf of the North
As Luna heard Aelita speaking, she was able to understand what she was telling her. In a sense she was telling her not to be scared and do something both of them would regret. Though she didn't recognize the name that she had called her. Luna tried to keep herself calm, though she was still a bit jumpy.
Luna flinched as Ame first started to pet her, and then calmed as he continued to do so. On would think since she was a person, she wouldn't enjoy random people coming up and petting her, but she was used to it. She had spent almost half of her life in wolf form. She considered herself as much a wolf as she was a person. And nothing really beat being scratched between the ears.
So now Luna figured it was these two boys that had rescued her from the alley. Since they were traveling together, they might have been a weapon/technician pair, but as long as they thought she was just an animal, she'd be fine. She suspected Haunani was to be her new name, since the boy and Aelita both had called her that.
So...If they named me, I guess they're planning on keeping me as a pet...*sigh* I suppose its better than being dead...
She supposed there wasn't such a thing as a wild city wolf, so this was her best bet at hiding from Anemone and the other witches. Still, the thought of being someone else's pet didn't sit well with her...

Ame smiled at the animal, crawling up onto the operating table with it, still petting it, occasionally scratching behind her ears. He positioned himself to where he could hug the dog while still laying down. He whispered into it's ear, hoping it could hear him, "You are going to love living with Antony and I, you will be able to move around a lot, go outside while we are at school... All we need to do is get you a collar so you won't be taken away!" He had truly begun to plan out his everyday life to surround the animal. But... Can't we just go inside?

Ugh, a collar. It was the utmost symbol of being domesticated; tame. She supposed it was a small price to pay for the freedom she'd have when they weren't around. The whole time they were at school, she could head out of the city. Maybe if she could get Aelita to train her, to teach her to be as strong as she was, then maybe she'd be able to face Anemone someday. But still...to be wearing a collar...to be a house pet...
*sigh* So much for being the 'Great White Wolf of the North'...I'm sure my mom's turning in her grave right now...
Luna couldn't bring herself to hate Ame, however. He was such a cute kid, and he was being so sweet. She figured maybe she should stop complaining. Maybe being a pet would be like a vacation.
She then started thinking about this school they would be going to, Shibusen. Every day they would be taught how to slaughter her kind, and they maybe would find out about her someday. Then, realizing that they were Shibusen students, who probably got hurt all the time, the first place they would go when they needed a doctor...was the school. They did seem to know the doctor that had been caring for her. So...did that mean...she was in...
A chill began to run down Luna's back as she began to realize where she was. If it wasn't for Aelita and Ame keeping her so calm before, she would have gone ballistic, but instead, she just tried to be as still as possible, though she was shivering slightly.

Antony Freed & Ame Retsu "I'm singing in the rain... I'm singing in the rain... Ame began to worry when the animal began shivering, was she still cold? He held her closer, going into a sort of fetal position trying to keep her warm. "Are you cold girl?" The little boy whispered again with a bit of an affectionate tone. When Antony heard this he removed his hoodie again, placing it on his partner and Haunani, as he did he reached his head down to scratch behind her ear, "are you okay?"But... Can't we just go inside?
