Kage was laughing and smiling too, she loved being able to move again after so long, but she knew now, that this fun couldn't last forever, but she was going to make it last for now.

Ventus was so full of happiness and joy, he couldn't contain himself anymore. He brushed her long, white hair, now full of sheen and life, and leaned down to meet her eyes. His eyes, first full of nothing but sadness, were now filled with overflowing joy, and something, else... Something that made him feel good, and... weak for her. For the first time, he felt.... Love. An overflowing love for her. And it drove him to commit this act of passion... He leaned in towards her, slowly shut his eyes, and...
Lock lips with her.

Kage tilted her head as she saw Ventus comming and started to kiss him back. it felt so good, so... right.

It felt as if this were destined to happen. He pulled her closer and warped his arms around her slender body. He began to kiss with more motion, more... passion....

After what seemed like a lifetime, he slowly pulled away.

As they walked back from the medow, in the cover of the night. Ventus and Kage walked with each other in their arms.. They returned to the healer's tiny hospital...
"Hey there healer... im thankful for everything you did for us..."

"i am too, but i think it's time for us to go back." Kage says, she was a little weak, but Ventus was holding on to her, she leaned on him, having him support her weight.
the Healer just looked at the two together and says to Ventus, "treat that girl right, she is the pride and joy of the 8Th district."

Kage just leans against Ventus and says to the old man "i will, thank you so much!"

Then kage and ventus walked out of the healer's hospital. And walked through all of the 8 district, before getting to the gate...
"Umm... You might have to get on my back..." Staring up at the enormously tall gate...
