Electra Luna Quenthal The black is just the colored used. Now, you will see for example, F1. Those squares are numbered off like that. This was used where houses could be placed. The ones that are red are where houses CANNOT be placed.
And if you can see the brown outline...that is the boundary of the city. The other colorful lines are boundaries for the districts....Of course...this could change now that things are being....re-done. Okay...I'm confused. In the first post you mention an island, but that lays out of the city limits according to the statement above. If things are being re-done and you (and I) want the island within City limits. Does that mean I can put the major trade, warehouses, and Merchants guild and stuff there! Its a bit far from the city, but with the river right there and putting the permanent fair in the open areas around the river near the entrance/exist of the Crystal Corridor would allow for all the trade to come together. They could use the river to get stuff up and down to the fair and then back. There would be some storage area in the fair area I guess. But that would be were all the businesses and tavern would be. That would mean the following! We need a name for the New area where the lesser Houses and the Merchants houses are located. Another for the Fair ground and business area! Another name for the Poor district!A name befitting the Plateau of Power! One name for the farm and forest Lands! And one last name for the Trade and small port space (if its okay with Quen)! Six names in total! I'm glad my 5 minutes on that one question saved you for some headaches. So now then about this trade and Merchant place. I noticed that there is not path for the Main Houses to get to the Farm lands. So How do they get their food? I know it has very little to do with rping and stuff it just out of curiosity...

Moonie dear, let me explain. Though it might be an inconvenience, they would have to have all their stuff pass through Swindler's Pass. Any outside resources or materials would be gotten through the explorers, raiding parties and trades that house sends out. All this is well guards and then sent to either the port via ships, or brought/bought through the market place to the House. At least, thats what my research of medieval castles and managment taught me. Remember I did that mini-course you claimed would do nothing for me in my life. By the way, I'm laughing at you.

That Textbook attack was uncalled for! I was just answering your question you posted here. Meanie!! Anyway, while I was healing. I thought up some names!
For the Poor district: Go'hi Resk'afar (Pig Hole) For the trade district/port: Bwaelen Lani (Its weak but, Goods Keep) And lastly, the wealthy, or Merchant and lessers Houses district: Plak'la Cress ( Golden Web )
Edit:This can either be the port or the river itself and sadly its pretty weak. Orbb's Niar'haanin (Spider's Water{way}/river).
I know I seem obsessive, but I like creating things like this. You should have seen me when I had Lego or those fantasy Lego like toys. Use to make towering cities, not that they were any good to look at, but still.

dot_hack_ver2 small question as i noticed this... the entire area we are in si the underDARK while the guild name is underGAIA correct? as i have seen some people use them interchangeably I don't know how many times I've had to explain this to people, and I mean no offense by saying that, but we do not use the D&D and Forgotten Realms settings here.
So the cities of Menzoberranzan, Ched Nasad, The Sword Coast, Icewind Dale, etc etc...
Those places do not exist. Why? Because we didn't want to have to follow by EVERY freaking rule and limits that are placed~
While we do have SOME bases from D&D and the Forgotten Realms, we are NOT..........eh....I've gotten into a rant...nevermind
ANYWAY...that's why we call it Undergaia instead of the "Underdark".
The name reference is the same difference....
I hope I did not make this too confusing for you. sweatdrop

(Which I would also liked to be renamed >.>; )

Six names in total! No, the island is supposed to be in the city limits. The map is a lesbian idk.
Menzoberranzan had an island where the rothe' were herded at and where they grew their mushrooms. So, let me get you straight..are you saying you want the big wigs of the merchants to be placed on that island? I'm confused.
I do know that I wanted the forest to be a bad a** place. Like....monsters and s**t live there....it's dangerous! Dun dun dun....
I also thought about the lake being dangerous as well...but idk..
Also...the river has a name...it is the Cold Blood River
unless you guys WANT to change it?
I'm up for suggestions~ :}

I'm glad my names were good for some thing. Though I like Veldrin's idea for the slum area. Quote: Ssrethalas d' E'trit or the Streets of Filth
