Ander was still unsure as he walked towards the hangar bay where Alexander told him he could find Leowen Dravon. The man's reputation was reportedly well-earned, and Ander was looking forward to seeing what he had. Ander had sent a comm message through the usual channels to Mr. Dravon, but Alexander had said that Leowen wasn't one to come at the call of anyone, even a governor-general. So, here Ander was, standing outside a hangar bay, waiting to talk to a man who had nearly decapitated Alexander with one blow. This could be...interesting, Ander thought as he paused outside the hangar doors. He knocked once, sensing a curious swirl of emotion coming from the room. Annoyance, tinged with anger, and a hint of what might be curiosity. Probably wondering who has the nerve to disturb him while he works. Ander was about to knock again when the door was, quite literally, thrown open.

Ander allowed himself a small smile. "As for how many, I already specified: three squadrons. 12 mechs per squadron. One squadron of Valkyries, one of Lanzers, and one of Titans. 36 mechs total. The Titans are going to head a new assault group, with the Lanzers in a support role. The Valkyries I have...other plans for. Some modifications may be required, but I have them listed out. As far as price goes..I'm willing to pay what I have to." Here he paused, giving Leowen a measuring look, and then continued, "Assuming they deliver the level of performance demanded of them, I may be inclined to increase the order. Still interested?"

Ander assumed a slightly more relaxed posture before continuing, "The 'ordinary s**t' is exactly what I'm trying to remove." Ander returned Leowen's smirk. Hopefully, these mechs do what Alexander says they will, Ander thought. No doubt this will cost more than I'd like it to...but if this assault group I'm putting together is able to function like I want it to...it will pay for itself in damage avoided. And, of course, there is that...other item. "One more thing," Ander said, "I would like a mech custom built for myself. If you would permit me, I would like to take your Valkyrie design and modify it. If you would be willing to manufacture the chassis, armor, and basic components...I would complete it myself upon delivery." Now, as long as he doesn't take offense at me wanting to change his designs, then this deal will work fine. "I'm an engineer at heart, design work is what I do. This would be a private contract, separate from the mechs for the Mythril Legion. Price is not an issue, nor are the construction materials." Ander produced a small data card, twirling it between his fingers. "You said yourself that these mechs were works of art." He stopped twirling the card and held it out to Leowen. "This is the Archerion. Look over it first if you want, but let me know if you'll take the contract before you leave."

Well, well...for a moment there I thought he was going to grab that rifle again. Interesting. He seemed intrigued, if nothing else. Ander watched Leowen's retreating back. He acts like something out of a medieval...wait...didn't Alexander say something about... Ander walked out of the hangar and followed the path Leowen had taken. He caught up with him at the airlock to the next hangar over. Alexander had better not have been insulting him... "Leowen!"Ander called before he could open the airlock. "I was wondering, why aren't you part of the Vanguardian military? Governor Fedelki mentioned that you're called the Last Knight. Doesn't that imply some sort of military rank or affiliation?" Close-mouthed he may be, but dammit, I have to know a little about the man who's going to be outfitting my fleet!
