Andrius smiled, "Just a bit deeper, and then you can rest, Eos. I will see to it that we are safe through the day." He groaned mentally, her yawn drawing his attention to a mouth he longed to kiss. He tried to push the thoughts away before he acted on them. Control, control, control, He chanted in his mind.

Eos nodded and headed deeper into the cave. Once she got to a reasonable spot she looked at him slightly confused. She was almost picking up on his chant, not the words but the focus from it. "Well good night Andrius." She said again with a yawn, "Although it should be good day." She giggled at that before moving up to him and kissing him on the cheek. "Have a pleasant rest." She then laid down on the cool ground and began to fall asleep.

Andrius smiled and kissed her back. "Good night, Eos." He made a blanket in the way of his people and draped it across her before moving to the opposite wall to curl up and sleep the sleep of mortals.

Eos had been a little surprised when he kissed her back. It wasn't such a bad thing being kissed by him. Barely hearing him say good night her eyes drooped as sleep claimed her.
She barely moved as she slept and it was well into the evening when she did wake up. She stood up and stretched. Yawning she looked around trying to see where Andrius was.

Andrius had a small fire started in the corner, as well as some soup-like substance cooking over it. "Good Rising, Eos. Did you sleep well?"

Eos nodded and walked over to Andrius. "Good morning....er.... evening." She said looking towards the cave entrance, "I slept quite well, thank you. How did you sleep?" It was getting to be dark out and they'd be able to leave soon. Her stomach grumbled and she looked to the food he was cooking. "Is that almost done?"

He nodded, "It is. And I slept decently, thank you. You must be hungry?" He smiled and gestured for her to sit down. "I can hear your stomach...I should have thought to feed you sooner. My apologies."

"That's good." Eos said to both things. She nodded and sat down with a blush. "I'm famished. And it's not your fault.... besides you do have the food cooking and it's nearly done."

He dished out some soup into a bowl and handed it to her. "Bon Apetite, Eos." He leaned back against the cave wall to watch her eat. "I must warn you, though. I am not much of a cook."

Eos took the bowl and was about to start eating when he spoke. "Hey anything right now is better than nothing." She said. She then began eating but quickly stopped grimacing. "Ew.... you weren't kidding." She broke out into a grin and laughed, "I'm kidding. It's pretty good considering where we are."

Eos' grin grew at his smile. "Well I'm glad you know how to cook. I must admit I never paid attention when my adoptive mother was trying to teach me. I'm going to have to learn the hard way now." She shook her head and began eating the soup again.

Eos paused in her eating to stare at him from above the bowl's rim. "I thought females were supposed to be the ones that cooked. Besides I might find out that I enjoy cooking."

"In a human relationship that might be so...but since I am not human, and do not take in human food...it is not necessary. Though if you find you enjoy cooking, I will not stop you from it. I will invest heavily in anything that would make you happy, my lifemate." Andrius thought about elaborating more on why she wouldn't need to cook...but she truly deserved to be happy...and he couldn't do anything to stop her from being so, not at this moment.
