Alex exchanged the uneasy glance. She was completely in over her head with this. ”I…I don’t know.” she replied quietly. Really, she didn’t even want to think about that one. ”What…what can we do about all of this then?” she asked, looking back up the stairs to the throne.

The Fate simply grinned and continued making over the black cat on her lap. Who continued to stare down at the three at the bottom of the stairs.
Hades shrugged. ”As Atropos said, there are a few beings on this planet that are capable of contributing at least something that you would consider helpful. Getting them to do anything is easier said than done of course. One would be emotionally unstable, one would want something in return, the other would only do something for a good show, another would only act if they knew for a fact there was a fifty-plus chance of a favorable outcome, and so on. I suppose if you helped the magician get her friends back, you‘d have some extra heavy hitters on your side. But that task is in a group of problems all it‘s own. Can‘t say you‘d have any more luck with that job than you would this one.” he said. ”If any other beings were born from this universe, I honestly can’t say anything helpful. I don’t have the ability to see beings that aren’t actively taking a part in this world. And Atropos would need to go home to watch literally everything.”

”I’m content here for ze time being.” she replied offhandedly, still stroking the cat’s spine.

Hades shrugged again. ”Right. So…you two can bat around options or try to come up with something better. I was never much of one for tactical planning or whatnot.”

Alex let out a disgruntled sigh and crossed her arms tighter. "Other than getting more help...no." she replied. "I only know a couple people that are still out and about. Warp has the ability to manipulate time, but I'm not sure he'd be able to handle anything this big. He might be able to give us some extra time. Even if the planet...you know. Sapphire can sometimes tap into her other half, she seems to know to handle uber-powered beings like this. I'm not sure if she can still tap into that in this messed up world though." she replied, then paused uneasily.

"By the way...do you still have that little 'I know where everyone and anyone's at' thingy? Or was that a Greece exclusive?" she asked, looking up at Hades.

He smirked. "I'm assuming you found out about that from Jove. Nobody else gave it such a title. Yes, I do have it. And no, it's not limited to Greece."

Atropos snorted, and quickly placed a hand over her mouth to try and contain a rather serious case of laughter. Hades grin simply widened, and he lazily leaned his head against his fist. "Well," he began, his voice thoroughly amused. "I can take you to it if you wish. But I'm afraid taking it with you will be quite a task. It's quite literally built into one of the rooms in my palace." he said, then let his grin widen. "I do hope that doesn't mean you'll still have to fight me for it."

"Oh...but it vould be so fun to watch." Atropos said, her giggle fit beginning to die down.

"My brother might have told you about the relic, but he hasn't seen it himself. It's rather large and heavy to try and move. I have no problem letting you use it, but its incredibly hard to move." Hades said, his tone becoming serious again. "The last time that a mortal did disturb the placement of one of my relics...well...they were killed twice over by it. Best to use whatever you need the right way."

Hades looked at the being thoughtfully for a moment or two, the wheels clearly turning in his head, then he glanced over at Atropos. She was looking back at him, her laughter gone, but the thrilled little twinkle still sparkling in her eye. "Why not?" she whispered. "It vill be fun to see vat happens."

Hades paused for a moment longer, then looked back at the group. "Very well." he replied. "If you are able to move it, you're welcome to borrow it. I will expect it to be returned in the condition you took it though." with that, he glanced over at Acacia and knodded.

She gave him a small bow, then walked up to the three. "Follow me, and please do not wander. It's very easy to get lost in here. The relic is straight down this hall, so don't make any turns." she said, then turned to lead the group down the hall.

Alex followed closely behind the group, tossing an untrusting glance back at the throne as they disappeared into the hall.
When she couldn't see Hades any longer, she turned her attention back to walking. A few glowing orbs floated through the doorways as they walked, pausing curiously before retreating back into the darkness away from them.

It didn't take long; the room was straight down the hall, as Acacia had said. A huge, tall ceiling room carved out of stone and held up with columns. The room was empty, save a stone structure in the very center of the room that reminded Alex a great deal of an old stone well. Without a roof or anything like that. Just a circular stack of stones.

Acacia led the group up to it, then paused beside the structure.
"This is it." she said, smiling a bit.

"I do not know." Acacia admitted. "The Well of the Eight Forbidden Kings has always been a part of the kingdom as far as I can recall. It has never been moved from this spot."
