morphingbutterfly simlizzy So, is this supposed to be a clip from the movie? I had read all the books in the early 70's and just never got around to checking out the movie(s) I don't actually know how many movies they made based on the books, even redface that clip is from the 2nd movie...there are 3 movies to see... fellowship of the ring, the two towers, and the return of the king.... all of them are awesome biggrin ....you should go and check them out lizzy wink DId they incorporate anything funny? To tell the truth, with 'story/saga/drama' type story lines I usually do better with books... I probably am somewhat AADD cause to 'watch' something like a movie or TV show unless it is really really funny or educational, I cannot stay awake. I will literally look for a way to curl up and end up dozing off. redface

I still have the original four books that I read. I've told my daughter that I would read Harry Potter if she read the Hobbit and the Trilogy. But we would have to buy her a new set of books. I won't let her use mine...

I won't let her use mine... Exactly. I have several books I feel that way about. I may only have copies from the early 70's but we are still talking 30+ years rofl
